As someone with sensitive skin, I didn't experience any itching after application. The label mentions it's a carefully selected formula designed for comfort. I appreciated that it's free from colorants, fragrances, parabens, and alcohol, plus it's slightly acidic! While I'm not sure if this product uses organic or inorganic UV filters, I've had issues with organic filters causing severe eye irritation and tearing. Happily, this product didn't irritate my eyes at all! It claims to leave no white cast, making it suitable as a makeup base. In my experience, there was a very slight white cast - maybe a 1/3 tone lighter? However, it spread easily on my face and didn't feel too greasy as a makeup base, which I liked. This product isn't waterproof, so you might want to use a waterproof sunscreen for water activities. Also, if you're going to be in intense sunlight, opt for a higher SPF. I love that this UV gel protects the skin from sun damage while also keeping sensitive skin hydrated and shielded from dryness.
ConsSince sunscreen needs to be applied frequently, the product runs out quickly. It would be great if they offered a larger size. While a lower SPF is definitely better for sensitive children's skin, it might be a bit too low for intense summer sun. I'll probably need to keep a higher SPF sunscreen on hand as well.

The slight brightening effect is perfect for everyday use. Although the SPF is lower compared to other products, it seems sufficient for daily activities!
ConsI haven't found any drawbacks yet. It's comfortable and easy to use.

It comes off cleanly with just the first cleanse. I consider this a real advantage. For me, sunscreen feels just like makeup. There's a lot of talk about how double cleansing with a strong cleanser can damage the skin barrier, and I've personally noticed that how I use cleansers and wash my face significantly affects my skin condition! But with sunscreen, you apply just that one thing and it's surprisingly hard to remove. You end up needing to double cleanse, and if you don't, there's that subtle, uncomfortable feeling... No matter what foam I use, it leaves a white residue around my eyes that scratches if I rub it! Is it just me? So on days when I only wear sunscreen, I end up thinking I might as well have worn makeup, and my homebody grumpiness explodes! That's why sunscreen is such a dilemma! Minon really eases these concerns, so I'm using it with great satisfaction. During the day, it's the only thing I can use without feeling burdened, like it's just part of my skincare routine rather than makeup. The texture is smooth and it applies lightly. There's almost no white cast, so I'd recommend it for sensitive skin or those who prefer gentle products. On days when 'I don't have much outdoor activity, but I still need to wear sunscreen', Minon is perfect as a daily item you can apply without worry. Does it wear off during the day? Just reapply. I didn't experience any pilling with makeup either. By the way, the foundation I use is Giorgio Armani. Regarding the SPF rating, you might think there's not much difference, but I find that high SPF products can make my face itchy. This one doesn't, though. These days, the market is flooded with SPF50+ PA++++ products, but personally, I find those numbers a bit overwhelming. Back in my 20s, this old lady was fine with just Hera SPF35, but somehow SPF50 has become the norm. I think it's better to apply a generous amount of SPF35-40 every 5-6 hours, and if you're mostly indoors or in an office, do you really need such high protection? In that sense, Minon UV Mild Milk feels just right. With SPF38 PA+++, it provides suitable protection for indoor and urban lifestyles, and somehow it doesn't tire out my skin or make it itchy.
ConsI'm curious about how it would perform during leisure activities... more explanation might be needed on that. It's clearly a sunscreen that's less burdensome on the skin, so I wonder about its UV protection during outdoor activities. To be honest, I couldn't find any significant drawbacks. The cleansing is a game-changer. With its good absorption, gentle formula, and suitability for urban and indoor use, plus the fact that it can be removed with just a foam cleanser, it seems perfect. It feels like a sunscreen that really considers skin health.

Plus, it's fragrance-free, so you don't have to worry about liking or disliking the scent! I love that it provides a natural brightening effect without leaving a white cast, making it easy to use without any concerns. As someone with sensitive skin, I'm pleased that it didn't cause any blemishes. The ingredients list doesn't have any major red flags, which is reassuring! The tube packaging is user-friendly, and the generous amount of product is a definite plus.
ConsOverall, I'm satisfied, so there's not much to complain about. But if I had to nitpick... the brightening and coverage effects could be a bit stronger. However, this isn't a major issue since it can be easily complemented with cushion foundation or regular foundation.
TipI think this will be perfect for applying on arms and legs during summer! It spreads easily and moisturizes well, which is great for covering larger areas. I'd recommend this as a gentle sunscreen without any concerning ingredients.

It's incredibly gentle. Even though my skin barrier was so damaged that even birch sunscreen hurt, this feels so comfortable on my skin! Also, while most sunscreens require double cleansing, I heard you can remove Minon sunscreen with just foam cleanser. After application, there's a slight white cast and it feels moisturizing.
ConsI thought its moisturizing properties would make it work well with makeup, but unfortunately it pills. Only use this when you're not wearing makeup, or leave some time between application and makeup. That's a tough ask for busy people these days. Also, it's disappointing that the SPF is only 38. I was planning to use it on vacation, but I'll bring a Korean product for that. This seems better suited for daily use.
TipWhile the SPF is low, it's so gentle that applying sunscreen isn't a burden at all. The easy removal is a huge plus too.

As someone with sensitive skin, I only use mineral sunscreens because organic and hybrid ones cause blemishes for me. This product has decent ingredients and a simple formulation. It's convenient that I can finish cleansing with just a first step on days when I only wear sunscreen, as it saves me from the hassle of using cleansing oil. The absorbs well - it applies lightly and smoothly. When I first tested it on the back of my hand, it felt quite shiny like a primer, but on my face, it provided just a slight tone correction without feeling heavy. For a mineral sunscreen, it leaves almost no white cast, which is impressive. Although I usually prefer sunscreens with a bit of white cast for a bare-faced look when going out, this one gives a natural skin finish. Plus, it feels fresh without any stickiness. I wasn't familiar with this brand before, but it seems to be popular in Japan. I'm satisfied! I think it'll be perfect for spring and summer use.
ConsThe SPF seems a bit low, so it might be best for short outings. You'll need to apply a good base and makeup with this. Like most mineral sunscreens, it can cause makeup to pill slightly.

It feels super hydrating when first applied, but after a short while, it's like you never put anything on. 2. Perhaps because it's made for even children to use, it feels really gentle on my sensitive skin. Usually, sunscreens cause inflammation for me, but this one seems okay so far.
Cons1. The SPF is quite low. I guess that's because it's designed for overseas markets and children too. But this might actually be good for those with sensitive skin! 2. A major drawback is that if you apply too much, it tends to pill...
TipTo prevent pilling, it seems you need to apply it in small amounts, allowing each layer to absorb properly.
