I'm so happy to have been selected as a Hwahae Tester for this product. The Minon sunscreen applies smoothly and isn't sticky at all. My husband, who usually dislikes other sunscreens because they feel heavy, consistently uses this one without complaint. Especially since my husband has super sensitive skin and is extremely picky about skincare products, it's great that the Minon sunscreen is gentle enough for his delicate skin to use without any issues. For me, after lunchtime when my makeup usually melts off, making it tough to go for a walk outside, I always reapply the Minon sunscreen before heading out. The UV rays are so scary these days... Application: 5/5 Hydration: 5/5 Matte finish: 4/5 I've tried various sunscreens, but the Minon UV Mild Gel seems to be the most convenient to use anytime! I'm ready to face this summer's sun with this product. I used to only use SPF 50, so with SPF 38, I think I'll need to use this for daily wear and buy a separate one for outdoor activities. It's perfect for my combination-dry skin, and I think it would be wonderfully hydrating for those with oily skin too. The product dispenses smoothly from the tube, like a cream. I usually squeeze out about four dollops. It's a genuinely moisturizing and firm cream formula that doesn't feel sticky when applied. It replenishes hydration, and I can see why it's called a 'mild gel'! Even when applied generously, it doesn't feel heavy or burdensome on the skin. What I appreciate most is its texture - it's not too watery, yet it spreads evenly across the face. That's probably its biggest advantage. It does provide a natural brightening effect, but I wouldn't say it's enough to go out with just this on. It's great for wearing under makeup or indoors. There's nothing I particularly dislike about this product! I have chicken skin-like texture on my face, so I need to apply moisturizer constantly. When I applied this in the morning, it helped reduce that texture, which was great. Unlike some sunscreens that feel drying over time, this Minon sunscreen seems to maintain its moisturizing and smooth feel for longer. The application is incredibly gentle and hydrating, like applying a moisturizer. This makes it great for use not just on the face, but also on various parts of the body. As we need to be extra careful about sun protection in summer, it's convenient that this sunscreen is suitable for body use. If you're not wearing makeup, you can easily reapply it using toner pads for quick touch-ups. There's nothing negative to say! I'm absolutely thrilled with it. It's fantastic! Typically, sunscreens that increase UV scattering agents can cause a feeling of deep dryness as time passes. However, this gentle sunscreen seems to suppress this tightening effect with barrier-supporting ingredients. It maintains hydration without feeling sticky or causing deep dryness. It's perfect for me. I didn't experience any blemishes. What's more, despite being a milky product, it doesn't feel greasy, nor does it leave my skin too dry. The way it brightens and evens my skin tone is beautiful. It's so good that I don't think it needs any further explanation! There are no downsides! It's genuinely so good that I can't find any faults. I highly recommend it. For reference, I have combination dehydrated skin, which dermatologists say is the most challenging to manage... It seems to be a decent product for daily use. Texture: It applies lightly like an emulsion and absorbs well. I liked that it finishes without much stickiness and can be easily removed with just a primary cleanse. Blemishes: As someone with sensitive skin that often reacts badly to sun products, I was pleased that this didn't cause any major breakouts. It should be fine to use if your skin barrier isn't too compromised. Eye Irritation: There was no stinging or discomfort when applied around the eyes. White Cast: There's a slight white cast immediately after application, but it's not excessive. As it absorbs, the tone becomes more natural and leaves a subtle glow. Scent: It's unscented, which is nice and clean. Even when I sniffed it up close, I could barely detect any fragrance. Packaging: The wide base of the cap prevents it from tipping over when standing. The tube format allows for hygienic use. The main downsides were the significant pilling and the relatively low UV protection. With so many good Korean options available, I probably won't repurchase this once it's finished. Makeup Compatibility: Initially, it seems to adhere well, but over time it pills like dead skin. When I applied cushion foundation over it, my makeup looked patchy. It might be difficult to use under makeup. Sun Protection Factor: With SPF 38 and PA+++, the UV protection isn't particularly high. While this might be due to the gentle formulation, I'd be hesitant to use it on very sunny days. Irritation: Despite being marketed as suitable for children, it caused slight itching on sensitive areas. It might not suit those with extremely sensitive skin. Dryness: After a while, I felt a bit of deep dryness. It might be challenging to use during seasonal changes. Ingredients: It contains phenoxyethanol, a preservative. While considered safer than parabens, some people might still be uncomfortable with it. Portability: While not inconvenient to carry, it's not exactly pocket-sized. It won't fit in a small cosmetic pouch. It might be suitable for use when not going out for long periods or as a body sunscreen. If using before makeup, ensure you allow plenty of time for it to absorb before applying your base makeup.

As someone with sensitive skin, I didn't experience any itching after application. The label mentions it's a carefully selected formula designed for comfort. I appreciated that it's free from colorants, fragrances, parabens, and alcohol, plus it's slightly acidic! While I'm not sure if this product uses organic or inorganic UV filters, I've had issues with organic filters causing severe eye irritation and tearing. Happily, this product didn't irritate my eyes at all! It claims to leave no white cast, making it suitable as a makeup base. In my experience, there was a very slight white cast - maybe a 1/3 tone lighter? However, it spread easily on my face and didn't feel too greasy as a makeup base, which I liked. This product isn't waterproof, so you might want to use a waterproof sunscreen for water activities. Also, if you're going to be in intense sunlight, opt for a higher SPF. I love that this UV gel protects the skin from sun damage while also keeping sensitive skin hydrated and shielded from dryness. Since sunscreen needs to be applied frequently, the product runs out quickly. It would be great if they offered a larger size. While a lower SPF is definitely better for sensitive children's skin, it might be a bit too low for intense summer sun.
