  It's not drying and has excellent color payoff! The red shade is truly stunning!

  I can't really think of any downsides. I've never regretted purchasing an Yves Saint Laurent lip product!

  The color payoff is fantastic, and despite being a matte lipstick, it doesn't accentuate dead skin cells.

  If it weren't for the high price tag, this would truly be the best of the best items.

  This lipstick fades beautifully! It lasts effortlessly until evening. The color payoff is great, and it has the effect of making your face look radiant.

  This is one of my favorite lipsticks. The color payoff is excellent and it has great staying power. It applies with a matte finish while still feeling moisturizing on the lips.

  Those who prefer a truly matte application might find this slightly disappointing.

  If you're a fan of matte lipsticks, you'll be satisfied with this product. It's more matte than a lip crayon, but has a stiffer texture compared to moisturizing lipsticks. It's easy to use as you only need to apply a little for great color payoff.

  Cons

  It's on the pricier side. Also, you might find it too drying during the winter months.

  It's versatile for both gradient and full lip makeup looks.

  Pros

  Although it's called a matte lip, it's not overly matte. The application and color payoff are both excellent.

  Cons

  However, the formula is a bit strong, and since it's still matte after all, it does settle into lip lines a bit. I was fine because I don't have many wrinkles and my lips aren't particularly dry, but those with more wrinkles or dry lips should be cautious!

  Tip

  You can apply it over lip balm without any major issues!
