  This is one of my favorite lipsticks. The color payoff is excellent and it has great staying power. It applies with a matte finish while still feeling moisturizing on the lips.

  Cons

  Those who prefer a truly matte application might find this slightly disappointing.

  Pros

  I love matte lipsticks but was hesitant to buy one because my lips tend to be quite dry. However, after trying this on a friend's recommendation, I was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked.

  Cons

  I can't think of any major drawbacks. Since it's a matte lipstick, I've accepted that some dead skin cells might show up, but I still wear it regularly.

  When I was in the US, a Sephora employee recommended this, and I'm so glad I bought it! Despite being matte, it barely emphasizes dead skin cells and absorbs beautifully.

  Cons

  The signature Yves Saint Laurent rose scent was a bit overwhelming at first, which made me hesitant.

  Tip

  For best results, apply a tiny amount of lip balm before your makeup routine. Once you've finished your look, gently pat on this product. It provides great color payoff without emphasizing any dry patches on your lips.

  • I bought shade 211!!! • Initially, I was drawn in by the packaging and thought 'I must get one of these.' After careful consideration, I chose this one because it's pleasantly matte and in a color range I frequently wear.

  Cons

  • There's nothing particularly bad. If I had to say something, maybe that there are many similar shades in this line? But that's more my issue for choosing this color, isn't it?

  I received this as a gift from a guy friend and I must say, it lives up to its name and price! No lies, I've been using it religiously because it's just that good! I might need to buy a new one soon, but it's a bit pricey so I'll have to think about repurchasing. Despite being slightly matte, it doesn't emphasize dead skin cells and absorbs smoothly.
