This is perfect when you're dealing with oily T-zone and concerned about pores! It seems to control oil and keep the skin matte. It also refines skin texture, making it great as the first step in skincare. When used before makeup, it feels like it improves longevity too. Those with super sensitive skin might find it irritating, and I felt a slight tightness after use. Make sure to shake well before use to evenly mix the powder. As someone with blemish-prone, super sensitive skin, I find this product really soothing and beneficial. The lid keeps getting residue on it... I tried this for the first time today and I love how it's moisturizing without feeling dry. When I use this toner (although today was my first time), it seems to cause redness and more blemishes. I'll keep using it for now to see if it improves. Also, the fragrance is too strong. When I wiped with a cotton pad, it felt moisturizing and absorbed well into my skin. I have blemish-prone, oily skin. There's a slight alcohol scent, so I'll need to use it more to be sure. It's not listed in the Hwahae app, but I think it might contain alcohol.

The absorption is decent. It absorbs well into the skin. It can be quite drying. I accidentally left the cap open and shook it vigorously, spilling a lot on the floor. Since it's mixed with powder and has zero oil, the finish feels incredibly fresh and well-balanced. I loved that it didn't feel heavy or overly matte on the skin. As I have dry skin, it felt a bit tight. I only used it on my T-zone when blemishes appeared. The scent is Avène's signature powder fragrance mixed with an alcohol smell, which sometimes felt a bit overwhelming. While I didn't notice any significant soothing effects or pore-tightening benefits, I still use it casually when it comes as a gratis item, thinking of it as a way to control excess oil. There's no need to buy the full-size product of this toner. It always comes as a free gift with Avène product promotions, so I've used enough samples to equal several full-size bottles.
