I thought Avène was a good, expensive, and gentle skincare brand. Before using it. I thought the ingredients were quite decent.

It's definitely the blocking effect. My friend tested it at the beach, and the difference between the area where it was applied and the area where it wasn't was quite noticeable.
Cons

It's quite moisturizing and doesn't cause eye irritation, which is great. Even on days without makeup, applying it on top is not bad.
