  I used to think Avène was a good, expensive, and gentle skincare brand. Before using it, I thought the ingredients were quite decent.

  Cons

  PEG? It's like a ghost egg product... The white cast is way too severe and it makes my skin look greasy. It's an unbearable pure white color. When applied, it turns my skin bluish-white.

  It's not sticky at all. While there's a slight white cast, it absorbs well if you pat it in thoroughly.

  Pros

  The sun protection is definitely its strong point. My friend tested it at the beach, and there was a clear difference between the areas where it was applied and where it wasn't.

  Cons

  It feels a bit heavy, and it pills even when applied right after exfoliating. It pills less if you apply a cream first. There's also a white cast.

  It's nicely moisturizing and doesn't irritate my eyes, which I love. On makeup-free days, it's not bad to apply an extra layer.

  Unfortunately, it leaves a noticeable white cast between my eyebrows and around my baby hairs.

  I love that it doesn't cause any blemishes. It's great as it works like a BB cream when used with sunblock. It's also quite hydrating.

  There's a slight white cast. The tone is too light for my shade 23 skin. It makes my makeup look a bit cakey...
