However, I did appreciate that there was no white cast.
ConsAfter applying it and going out, my face started itching within a couple of hours. At first, I thought it was just because of the heat, but when I looked in the mirror, I saw that my entire face was covered in hives. It was awful! I do have super sensitive skin with sunscreen allergies, though I'm not sure exactly which ingredient caused this reaction. I bought this Avène product because it's a pharmacy brand, but I'm so upset that my face broke out in hives the very day I used it. If you have sensitive skin, please make sure to patch test before using!

It's truly the worst of the worst. Even for oily skin, it's terrible.
ConsThe absorption is absolutely dreadful. After application, there's a burning sensation and tingling. It causes inflammatory blemishes and makes my skin extremely oily.
TipI bought sunscreens from Dr.G and Avène. While Dr.G works well for me, the Avène one is a disaster.

My skin was really good until high school, but now at 24, it's gotten so much worse. I used to have just dry skin, but now it seems like combination or maybe still dry. At first, it was good... I had been using the Online Minimum sunscreen, but I kept getting small bumps, so I switched to this product that I had a sample of. When I first used it, I thought it was really good. At least I didn't get those little bumps... Of course, that was only in the beginning....
ConsBlemishes: It feels like I'm on the verge of a breakout. I'll know for sure tomorrow, but I'm really worried. It's only been two days of use, and I'm getting tiny, scattered blemishes. Itchiness: When I used the Spring sunscreen before, it affected my forehead and front of my cheeks, but with this one, it's like the boundary between my cheeks and nose - it's so red, almost like hives. I think I'm even feeling itchy near my temples. I'm really struggling to find the right sunscreen... The Innisfree Aqua UV Protection Cream didn't work for me, and neither did the Innisfree The Minimum sunscreen. I don't know what to buy. The Dr.G sample I got was too drying, and the Cell Fusion C sunscreen was also too drying. I'm at a loss for what to try next.

But other than that, not so great...
ConsThe application feels dry and it pills when you apply makeup over it. Moreover, it's either too oily or something else... using this makes my skin break out in tiny bumps.

ConsI bought this trusting it was water-based, as I have sensitive and combination dehydrated skin. I usually safely use Avène toner, Recovery, and Cicalfate as my skincare basics. From the first day of use, I was surprised by a cooling sensation right after application, but I ignored it thinking it was temporary. By the third day of use, my skin had broken out with small blemishes. My face feels like it's burning. Also, for a water-based product, it's not very hydrating. I have a feeling that even those with oily skin could use this without worry.

ConsI bought this based on an employee's recommendation at Olive Young. It seemed fine when I tested it on the back of my hand, so I decided to purchase it. But oh boy, was I in for a surprise... As soon as I applied it to my face, I felt an intense burning sensation, especially around my mouth - it felt like being pricked with needles! I thought maybe it was just an initial reaction, so I kept using it throughout the day. When I got home in the evening, my face was an absolute mess of blemishes! I'm really disappointed, especially considering how much I paid for this. Now it's just sitting in a drawer after one use. What am I supposed to do with it now?
TipMake sure to test it on your face, especially around the philtrum area, before buying. You'll regret it otherwise.

I guess it just didn't suit my skin at all...
ConsEvery time I used it, my skin would freak out and break into blemishes... It was a disaster!

It was too harsh for me to use.
ConsI bought this Avène product at duty-free because I heard it was gentle, but it stung so badly right after application that I only used it three times before giving it to a friend. While my skin is sensitive to irritation, I've never experienced anything like this before, which really surprised me. The first time I used it, I thought I was imagining things. The second time, I realized the sunscreen was causing the stinging. I tried it a third time just to confirm if it was really this product causing the issue, and sure enough, the burning sensation was there again. As much as I hated to waste it, I had to give up on using it...

ConsMy face felt a burning sensation when applying, but I ignored it and continued. Even though my skin was clear before, three blemishes appeared that day, and now my skin has completely broken out

It offers high sun protection, and when I apply foundation over it, it doesn't feel heavy. I think I'll be sticking with this product for a while.
ConsEven though I don't have super sensitive skin, I felt a slight burning sensation when I first applied it. (It's momentary when you put it on, and it does subside.) After using it for several months, I still occasionally experience that tingling feeling. While it hasn't caused any blemishes, those with very sensitive skin might want to be cautious.
