I tried it as a sample for a week and it didn't cause any breakouts, it feels gentle. Well, it's not exactly... the spreadability isn't as smooth? But it's still good, the one I used before was just exceptionally good, haha. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 26, 2016
I have combination skin. Whenever I just applied sunscreen, I would get terrible acne breakouts. But after using this product, I feel like my acne has calmed down a lot.^^ I'm still using it now and plan to continue using it in the future. When I apply it, my eyes sting a bit. It does get better quickly, but it's still a little disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 27, 2016
It seemed to be a bit less irritating on my skin, which I liked. It also seems to help with blemish care, haha. The longevity seems a bit weak... When I sweat a little, it seems to just wash off. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 4, 2016
This is a complex product, but it doesn't feel heavy even when layered and most importantly, there is no white cast - I really liked it! I bought it for my acne-prone skin and it seems to have helped calm my breakouts a lot!! It's quite oily and sticky, and within 30-40 minutes it starts to feel greasy again...It may work well for achieving a dewy look, but I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin types. A pro tip - if you apply some powder on top, it works perfectly! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 31, 2015
I had a favorite sunscreen that I used to use - it was about medium protection. But until I learned about the Hwahae app, I thought it was just a gentle, good cosmetic. After checking the ingredients, I was really surprised... No wonder my stubborn acne wasn't going away. So I really worked hard to search for my holy grail sunscreen, and ended up switching to Avène with a heavy heart. But I'm not exaggerating - it completely cleared up my stubborn acne!!! Except for the inevitable breakouts before my period, the unnecessary blemishes on my face disappeared. Just for that, I want to give Avène a 99 out of 100!^^ I have oily-dry skin. Hmm - after applying the cream, it feels really tight and doesn't absorb well. I have to mix in a few drops of face oil when I do my skincare routine for it to be just right. It says it's moisturizing, but it's actually quite far from that haha. I know they have a separate product for oily skin, but I wonder how much more drying that one would be... Anyway, the texture seems like it would be moisturizing, but the application isn't that great. In my opinion, even oily-skinned people could use this without too much trouble! There's a slight white cast, but if you have a solid skincare base, it absorbs naturally over time and makes your skin look nice~ I have oily-dry skin, but I really can't stand heavy creams. Try mixing a lightweight lotion or cream with a few drops of face oil, or apply the oil as the last step of your skincare routine before this. It'll apply much more smoothly and absorb better, making your skin look great! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 27, 2015
My skin is sensitive and oily, but after switching from the previous sunscreen I used to this one, my skin has improved significantly and I've had much fewer breakouts. I'm really satisfied with it! While sunscreens can be like that, when I apply a bit too much, I do get that greasy, oily feeling. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 28, 2015
The skin irritation was a bit severe, but it seems like it didn't cause any breakouts. So I think it would be a good fit for acne-prone skin :) My skin is oily, and the sunscreen has a bit too much oil content. I also wear glasses, and in the summer, it tends to get a bit greasy, so I don't plan to repurchase it. (The fragrance is not great either..) Recommended for dry skin types, not recommended for oily skin types
