I'm a fan of Ceraderm's Black Peel products, but regular peeling can be a hassle to wash off and too harsh for daily use. This product, however, is perfect as a spot treatment for everyday use without the need to rinse. It's convenient and gentle enough for regular application. The small size makes it portable, so I can easily carry it around for on-the-go blemish care. While it has a tangy scent due to the black vinegar, it dissipates quickly. I've noticed it really helps reduce inflammation and soothes my skin effectively. I'm not too fond of the tangy smell. Also, I tend to avoid using it when I'm going out. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 25, 2025
I first tried this at the hospital and have been using it consistently for over 7 years. When applied after extraction, scabs fall off faster. It calms inflammatory acne and seems to be the best for preventing scars. I've gone through more than 10 bottles and keep refilling. I feel anxious without it and always repurchase before it runs out. The scent is like vinegar, unfortunately. The quantity is too small, but it lasts a long time since I only apply it as a spot treatment. When dabbed on as a spot treatment after extraction, scabs fall off faster, promoting quicker healing. It seems to have a peeling or exfoliating effect. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 8, 2024
I've seen the best results for oily, acne-prone skin! It seems to have been discontinued, but I really hope they bring it back. The vinegar-like scent is a bit off-putting, but it dissipates quickly. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinJul 10, 2022
You can see definite results when blemishes start to appear. While the effectiveness may vary depending on the nature and size of the blemish, for most small blemishes, applying this before bed will noticeably reduce or eliminate them overnight. I'm so satisfied with the results that I'm already on my second bottle! The scent... like sour vinegar? At first, I really disliked it, but as I continued using it, I got used to it! If you can bear with the smell for just a few minutes, you'll become accustomed to it and won't even notice it's there. So try to hang in there for a bit! Even if you don't have blemishes, it's great for removing dead skin cells on your face. Just apply a few drops evenly at night, and when you wake up in the morning, your skin will have a beautiful glow! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 13, 2020
Wow, I bought this because I had severe acne, and after applying it just 3 times, my more intense breakouts are already starting to subside. When I touch my skin, the areas that were previously raised are now becoming flat. I'm genuinely amazed by the real-world results! It seems to work on some blemishes but not others, so it's a bit hit-or-miss. You need to apply it precisely on the affected areas, as accidentally applying it elsewhere can cause small bumps to appear. I've never had issues with skincare products that others claim have unpleasant scents, but this one has an overwhelming vinegar smell that's really intense. It stings when applied to severe acne, but I guess that's unavoidable if you want results. Also, expect significant dead skin cell shedding initially. You absolutely must shake the product well before use to ensure the yellow liquid comes out. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinOct 8, 2020
Whiteheads / Sensitive / Acne / 30s It calms down blemishes that are just about to appear, I didn't see much effect on blackheads. The product volume is a bit disappointing. Please shake well before use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 30, 2020
I tried this based on a friend's recommendation. When I applied it to my small pimples and squeezed blemishes, I saw a noticeable calming effect. The small size and the slightly vinegary, sour scent are a bit disappointing. Other than that, I was very satisfied with the product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 5, 2020
For skin with lots of small blemishes: After applying this, many of my small blemishes disappeared! No matter how much I changed creams or toners, they wouldn't go away. But after using this, so many vanished - I'm thrilled! Dead skin cells and dryness: While many small blemishes disappeared, on the second day of use, dead skin cells suddenly appeared all over my face and my skin became extremely dry. It seems you need to focus on intense hydration when using this. Tingling sensation: For about a minute after application, there's a tingling feeling on the face. When applying, if you place a fan or mini fan in front of you, the tingling sensation is almost non-existent! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 17, 2020
As someone with sensitive skin prone to blemishes, I've found this product to be a game-changer. After shaking it well and applying it with a cotton swab directly on the affected areas for 3-4 days, I've noticed a significant reduction in blemishes. Smaller spots even clear up in just a day or two. I'm absolutely thrilled with the results! While it's important to shake the product well before use, the smell is unbearably strong. When I had a blemish near my nose, applying this was a real struggle due to the overpowering scent. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 5, 2019
It quickly calms down blemishes. I tried it because it contains tetrazasmonic acid. They say it softens sebum. The smell is unpleasant, and it's extremely harsh when used with products like Stiva. I stopped using Stiva and tried this again, and it was good. Apply it only to areas where you have blemishes.
