I'm a fan of Ceraderm's Black Peel products, but regular peeling can be a hassle to wash off and too harsh for daily use. This product, however, is perfect as a spot treatment for everyday use without the need to rinse. It's convenient and gentle enough for regular application. The small size makes it portable, so I can easily carry it around for on-the-go blemish care. While it has a tangy scent due to the black vinegar, it dissipates quickly. I've noticed it really helps reduce inflammation and soothes my skin effectively. I'm not too fond of the tangy smell. Also, I tend to avoid using it when I'm going out. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 26, 2021
It seems to be helpful when applied while the skin is still slightly damp The scent is quite strong, but I use it thinking it must be working like medicine - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 13, 2020
Wow, I bought this because I had severe acne, and after applying it just 3 times, my more intense breakouts are already starting to subside. When I touch my skin, the areas that were previously raised are now becoming flat. I'm genuinely amazed by the real-world results! It seems to work on some blemishes but not others, so it's a bit hit-or-miss. You need to apply it precisely on the affected areas, as accidentally applying it elsewhere can cause small bumps to appear. I've never had issues with skincare products that others claim have unpleasant scents, but this one has an overwhelming vinegar smell that's really intense. It stings when applied to severe acne, but I guess that's unavoidable if you want results. Also, expect significant dead skin cell shedding initially. You absolutely must shake the product well before use to ensure the yellow liquid comes out. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 17, 2020
As someone with sensitive skin prone to blemishes, I've found this product to be a game-changer. After shaking it well and applying it with a cotton swab directly on the affected areas for 3-4 days, I've noticed a significant reduction in blemishes. Smaller spots even clear up in just a day or two. I'm absolutely thrilled with the results! While it's important to shake the product well before use, the smell is unbearably strong. When I had a blemish near my nose, applying this was a real struggle due to the overpowering scent. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 2, 2018
The dermatologist I've been seeing recommended this for hard-to-squeeze blemishes, so I decided to give it a try. It's been so effective that I'm now on my third bottle. Highly recommend as a spot treatment! The areas where I apply it become very dry, and there's a noticeable increase in dead skin cells. Also, the scent is rather unpleasant. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 20, 2017
I always spent a lot of money going to the dermatologist, but using this at home was really nice. I have very oily skin, and it seems to be good for oily skin types. The smell... well, it has a bit of a vinegar scent, and that's a bit bothersome. Other than that, there's nothing else I'm dissatisfied with. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 14, 2016
I haven't been using it for long, but I've been using it based on a friend's recommendation. After using it, the redness and unevenness gradually subsided. The smell was a bit strong, and it stung a bit on the areas with acne. I applied the toner and then used a small amount, dried it in front of a fan, and applied the lotion. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 2, 2016
This is the first time I've seen a product that works so well just a day after using it at the dermatologist's office. It's really great - an essential item I can't live without, so I've repurchased it 3 times!! It works well even just by applying it, but I think it's even better when you squeeze it out and apply it. I really, really love it. It's a bit hard to find, which is a bit disappointing, and the amount is small so it gets used up quickly. It has a vinegar-like smell, but you get used to it and it's not much of an issue. You have to shake it before using, and I'd recommend squeezing it out and applying it. I bought it for 10,000 won at the dermatologist's office, but it's a bit more expensive online. I'd recommend buying it at the dermatologist's office. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 23, 2016
Last summer, my skin was completely flipped, so I went to a dermatologist and they gave me a free 5-session package. By combining dermatological treatment with the sessions, my acne improved within 3 treatments, with 1 session per week. The aesthetician said there was nothing left to extract by the 4th session, and just provided soothing packs and sebum management. Visually, my skin became much smoother. They also helped clear my acne without leaving any pigmentation. In the winter, I couldn't go out without makeup due to acne scars, but with BB cream, I could achieve porcelain-like smooth skin. My friends complimented my improved skin, and I was so happy every time I looked in the mirror. After finishing the products, I've just been managing with toner, lotion, and moisturizer. But this year during the seasonal change, cystic and closed comedonal acne came back (seems like the cleansing product was the issue), so I repurchased (around mid-April) and now the cystic acne is just one on my forehead, and the closed comedones are just a little on my forehead. You'll see the effects just after 3 weeks of use!! 100% will repurchase! The vinegar smell may be off-putting to someone trying it for the first time. But seeing the changing skin, the smell is nothing at all haha Shake before use. Use only at night! They say not to use it during the day? I have combination dehydrated skin and often get breakouts. I used to use the Migang Soo cleansing line, but it didn't seem to suit me, so now I just remove eye makeup with a remover and cleanse my face twice (three times on thicker days) with the Lookme grapefruit soap. Then I apply the spot treatment directly on my face without anything else, and gently pat it in. Once the spots have dried a bit, I apply the Cellusion C Post Alpha Moisture Oxygen product and go to sleep! I don't use toner or lotion, as I don't like the heavy feeling of layering too many products. It might just be in my head, but I feel like my acne even gets worse from that... Haha. I saw on Hwahae that the moisturizer I'm using has some questionable ingredients, but my skin has still improved using it! Make sure to know your skin type and ingredients well before deciding! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 13, 2016
Nothing much. Except for the feeling that just applying this would somehow make the acne disappear, there's not much else.^_ㅜ 1. The smell is strange. Vinegar-like? Tolerable. 2. After applying, it's very itchy and stinging. 3. There was no effect at all, and the acne even got worse.
