I'm a fan of Ceraderm's Black Peel products, but regular peeling can be a hassle to wash off and too harsh for daily use. This product, however, is perfect as a spot treatment for everyday use without the need to rinse. It's convenient and gentle enough for regular application. The small size makes it portable, so I can easily carry it around for on-the-go blemish care. While it has a tangy scent due to the black vinegar, it dissipates quickly. I've noticed it really helps reduce inflammation and soothes my skin effectively. I'm not too fond of the tangy smell. Also, I tend to avoid using it when I'm going out. - gh*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 25, 2025
I first tried this at the hospital and have been using it consistently for over 7 years. When applied after extraction, scabs fall off faster. It calms inflammatory acne and seems to be the best for preventing scars. I've gone through more than 10 bottles and keep refilling. I feel anxious without it and always repurchase before it runs out. The scent is like vinegar, unfortunately. The quantity is too small, but it lasts a long time since I only apply it as a spot treatment. When dabbed on as a spot treatment after extraction, scabs fall off faster, promoting quicker healing. It seems to have a peeling or exfoliating effect. - gk*******Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedMay 9, 2024
I've seen the best results for oily, acne-prone skin! It seems to have been discontinued, but I really hope they bring it back. The vinegar-like scent is a bit off-putting, but it dissipates quickly. - aw********Normal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 10, 2022
You can see definite results when blemishes start to appear. While the effectiveness may vary depending on the nature and size of the blemish, for most small blemishes, applying this before bed will noticeably reduce or eliminate them overnight. I'm so satisfied with the results that I'm already on my second bottle! The scent... like sour vinegar? At first, I really disliked it, but as I continued using it, I got used to it! If you can bear with the smell for just a few minutes, you'll become accustomed to it and won't even notice it's there. So try to hang in there for a bit! Even if you don't have blemishes, it's great for removing dead skin cells on your face. Just apply a few drops evenly at night, and when you wake up in the morning, your skin will have a beautiful glow! - mi*****Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 8, 2021
I highly recommend this for those with excessive sebum production! My skin was a disaster due to sudden overproduction of sebum (probably hormonal, even my dermatologist couldn't say for sure), with inflammatory blemishes all over. I was in despair, but after using this product, my skin became as smooth as an egg! While the blemish marks haven't completely faded yet, so I haven't returned to my original skin condition (I might need to look into regenerating creams for that), this product manages to calm down most blemishes within a day or two. I initially bought just one to test, but within a month, I bulk purchased to stock up. Oh, and while it works wonders for me, my sister with combination skin didn't find it as suitable. The instructions for use could be more comprehensive. There's not enough detailed information on whether it can be applied daily like a serum, or if you need to take breaks between applications, among other things. Many people talk about the scent, but if you've ever tried Bragg's apple cider vinegar, you'll think this product smells like perfume in comparison. For those with extremely oily skin that's hard to manage due to excess sebum, it's even better if you switch to oil-free products for your toner, moisturizer, sunscreen, etc., and use them alongside this product. - 87****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 26, 2021
It seems to be helpful when applied while the skin is still slightly damp The scent is quite strong, but I use it thinking it must be working like medicine - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 4, 2020
It gives a luxurious feeling and makes your skin feel like dead skin cells are melting away, leaving it silky smooth It stings terribly if applied after extracting acne. It has a bit of a scent, so I only use it before bed - le*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 14, 2020
Wow, I bought this because I had severe acne, and after applying it just 3 times, my more intense breakouts are already starting to subside. When I touch my skin, the areas that were previously raised are now becoming flat. I'm genuinely amazed by the real-world results! It seems to work on some blemishes but not others, so it's a bit hit-or-miss. You need to apply it precisely on the affected areas, as accidentally applying it elsewhere can cause small bumps to appear. I've never had issues with skincare products that others claim have unpleasant scents, but this one has an overwhelming vinegar smell that's really intense. It stings when applied to severe acne, but I guess that's unavoidable if you want results. Also, expect significant dead skin cell shedding initially. You absolutely must shake the product well before use to ensure the yellow liquid comes out. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 8, 2020
Whiteheads / Sensitive / Acne / 30s It calms down blemishes that are just about to appear, I didn't see much effect on blackheads. The product volume is a bit disappointing. Please shake well before use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 18, 2020
I bought this because it's supposed to be good for blemishes. While it doesn't work on small bumps, it's effective in calming down emerging breakouts. The vinegar smell is a bit off-putting, but if it's good for my skin, I can tolerate it! The quantity is quite small, and it's a bit challenging to apply. I apply this on top of my night cream in the evening.
