I have sensitive skin, but this didn't cause any blemishes! I was worried about the alcohol scent, but it didn't cause any irritation.

I first tried this as a hotel amenity and fell in love with it. It's moisturizing and feels refreshing.

While the fragrance is pleasant, there's a noticeable alcohol scent that can be a bit sharp when first applied. The low oil content might lead to dryness in winter

The water-based formula absorbs well, leaving skin feeling fresh and hydrated

It feels a bit wasteful to use as an exfoliating toner, so I can't bring myself to soak a cotton pad with it.

The Sekkisei Brightening Essence Emulsion absorbs like a hydrating toner. It's best to pat it in rather than wipe it off. The texture is like rice water with a slight viscosity. The fragrance is also delightful!

If you have dry skin, you might find it doesn't provide enough hydration. It's more of a lightweight formula.

I love the scent of Sekkisei's toner. It has a light, refreshing feel that might not be ideal for those with dry skin, but could be great for people prone to blemishes. I really want to recommend Sekkisei's face mask because it's amazing, but I'm sad I can't review it here since it's not listed.

There's a strong whiff of alcohol when you open it... and the moisturizing power isn't as impressive as I'd hoped.

When applied generously with a cotton pad and patted onto the skin, it provides a refreshing burst of hydration. The large bottle (I bought the 500ml size!) seems to last forever, even with liberal use.
