The texture is truly velvety, incredibly soft, and doesn't accentuate dead skin cells. The color is unique and absolutely gorgeous. I was worried it might not suit my deep undertone, but it's a perfect match! In the hand swatch, the top color is Modest, below that is MAC Chili, and the bottom is YSL #9. In person, Modest has a slightly more brown tone than it appears in the photo. Hmm, perhaps due to its soft formula, it seems to wear off quickly. But that's not really a major drawback. When applied over lip balm, it doesn't achieve that matte color payoff and looks a bit dated. For the best color result, it should be applied on a matte lip base. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 31, 2018
This is my holy grail lipstick! I'm on my second tube and use it daily. Whether applied boldly or lightly, it doesn't look garish, yet it's not too plain either - it has a lovely muted orange-brown tone! While it doesn't completely eliminate the appearance of fine lines, for a matte lipstick, it doesn't emphasize them too much. I'll definitely repurchase this, no doubt about it. The magnetic case is so convenient, and I love that I don't have to struggle with the cap randomly opening. It's just perfect! The only downside is that there are no downsides! With this color payoff and quality at this price point, there's absolutely no reason not to buy it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinJan 27, 2018
It's a lovely muted orange-brown shade. I used it daily and really enjoyed it. Since it's matte, you need to take good care of dead skin cells. When it's windy, my lips felt quite dry and rough. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinDec 27, 2017
The application is much better than the Mac Matte products I normally use. The warm-toned color suits me well and is a useful shade, but it has a slightly pinkish tone compared to the muted orange-brown look I was hoping for. The fragrance is polarizing, so I recommend testing it before purchasing. While researching online prior to buying, I came across some negative feedback about the scent, but since it's so popular, I thought I'd be able to get used to it. However, even after a month, the fragrance is still not agreeable to me. All of my friends also find the scent unpleasant. - Hwahae UserOily SkinNov 13, 2017
I'm a warm-toned person, and this lipstick is my absolute favorite that I use all the time! I have orange-brown lipsticks from various brands, but this one wears down the fastest. It's a really stylish orange-brown color that's perfect for fall. At first glance, it looks like a slightly dark brown coral, but when applied, it becomes a beautiful orange-brown shade. Many people around me have asked me about this lipstick color because they think it's so pretty! I'd say this is the ultimate MLBB (My Lips But Better) lipstick! It's truly amazing, and I highly recommend it! The lipstick is quite matte! There can be some slight emphasis on dry patches, and while other lipsticks are fine, this one in particular melts easily and sticks to the cap. But the color is so beautiful that I'm willing to overlook those issues... Warm-toned people, you absolutely must get this!!! You must, you must, you must!!! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 5, 2017
This color is highly recommended for those with warm autumn skin tones. It has a matte texture, but when paired with a cream blush and lip, it creates a beautiful, atmospheric look. The color is a dried rose shade that applies as a calm, orange-brown tone. The color is truly gorgeous. There is a slight emphasis on flaky skin, so you'll need to exfoliate and moisturize before applying. It applies beautifully when properly prepared. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 26, 2017
I'm a warm-toned person and I think it suits me well. I like how the magnetic lid clicks shut so satisfyingly. It has a nice brown-orange vibe. Not really an issue, but it's a bit matte so I'll need to apply lip balm. Need to take care of any flaky skin. I bought it during a sale and I'm satisfied with it. From top to bottom in the photo: Espoir Orange Hills, Macqueen Itaewon Rose, Espoir Modist, and Eglips Pale Rose. The photo came out a bit bright. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 25, 2017
I really like the matte orange-brown color, and this was the start of it all. The application, the color, and everything about it is just so pleasing to me. After trying the 3ce 908, I, a super-powered warm brown enthusiast, have noticed a slight pinkish tint, making it less appealing to me. It also feels a bit fragile, and the case seems to be breaking apart... It's now separated. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 12, 2017
The biggest advantage is the color!!! The harmony of orange-brown + matte lip is so lovely~ It's a perfect match for me, a warm-toned autumn. The Espoir Matte Lip line is truly matte, so it seems to have both the pros and cons of matte lipsticks~~ It adheres quite well and the color expression is fluffy and pretty~~ The case is also matte with a magnet, so it's neat and nice~~ I once lost it, but despite having many lip products, it's one of the ones I cherish the most, to the point that I immediately repurchased it~~ The original price is 19,000 won, but it's always on sale for 30% off, so it seems reasonable~~ These days, there are many products that are matte but have good application (for example, Clio Mad Matte Lip...?) So I can't say it's extremely good. It has the typical drawbacks of matte lips, such as accentuating flaky skin, stiff application, and clumping when reapplied. However, the color covers all of these... If you apply it thinly with a lip brush or dab it on, it looks incredibly natural, so it goes well with a bare face~~~ - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 12, 2017
The orange-brown lipstick I have seems to be the prettiest color. The application is also quite smooth. The downside is that when reapplying, it can clump up and needs to be wiped off and reapplied.
