It gives a lovely glow! No blemishes, great hydration, and it makes my skin feel brighter. There's also a nice, bouncy texture to it. The biggest drawback is definitely the price. If it were just a bit cheaper, I'd love to keep using it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 17, 2021
As someone with sensitive and oily skin, my face usually reacts badly to the wrong products. However, this one keeps blemishes at bay and effectively combats deep dryness. The lightweight formula might not be enough for those with dry skin, potentially leaving you feeling parched if used alone. Also, the small size means you'll likely use it up within a month, which is disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 10, 2020
This product is absolutely top-notch. While SK-II's red cream line might be more famous, I honestly think this one's better. The hydration is superb - you only need to apply a tiny amount for a full moisture boost. Plus, it doesn't cause the blemishes that SK-II products are sometimes known for. I'd say this is truly SK-II's ultimate moisturizer. It's not greasy at all, a little goes a long way, and I highly recommend it for combination to oily skin types. It's quite pricey, I'll give you that. You'll probably use it up in a month or two after buying. But the product itself is really good! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 16, 2019
This product seems perfect for those with sensitive, dry, or combination skin. It doesn't cause any blemishes, keeps the skin hydrated, and gives an incredible glow after application. Although it's pricey, when you wake up in the morning or apply makeup, your skin looks amazing. I have super sensitive skin and can't use most products, even those from dermatologists, but I've been using this SK product without any issues. I wish the volume was a bit more generous. You can save about $20-30 if you buy it at duty-free shops, but it's still a bit disappointing due to the price point. It's light enough to wear during summer. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 29, 2019
It absorbs well and keeps my skin hydrated! I have dry, sensitive skin, but I didn't experience any blemishes or allergic reactions. I think it's a cream that truly focuses on hydration. Even when I apply it after other essences or ampoules, it rarely pills and keeps my skin moisturized. I've used about 3 jars, and after trying other moisturizers, I keep coming back to this one! The downside is that it's a bit pricey. Since I have dry skin, those with oily skin might want to test it out first. When buying the Deep Surge Cream, they also recommend the essence, but it caused blemishes for me. When my skin is super sensitive, I only use toner and Deep Surge Cream, or I make a DIY mask by mixing water and cream in a 1:1 ratio on a cotton pad. When I'm not feeling my best, even sheet masks can sometimes cause itching. I've found that mixing a cream that works well for you with either water or an alcohol-free toner on a cotton pad really boosts hydration. Occasionally, when my skin feels dry, I apply the cream and then layer a slightly oily emulsion on top, and my skin stays moisturized until morning. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 18, 2018
Absorbs beautifully. No blemishes. Perfect balance of richness and hydration. I think I'll be sticking with this moisturizer for a while! Nothing bad, but I'm not sure if it really has any brightening effects. I've been using this consistently after my Pitera essence. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinNov 9, 2016
The product glides on smoothly and the moisturizing effect lasts a long time, which I really liked. I used to use the Clio* cream, but since switching to this, I've been using it exclusively. The price at the duty-free shop seems to be the best. I didn't experience any skin troubles. If I had to mention one downside, it would be the price, which is a bit high. In the US, the tax-included price is almost $176. I highly recommend buying it at the duty-free shop. If you need even more moisture, you can mix in a drop or two of face oil and it won't feel tight during the winter. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinNov 4, 2016
The moisturizing effect, feel, and performance are all top-notch. Among the brightening products I've used so far, this is the most moisturizing and oil-free, so I can use it without worrying about breakouts. I have combination skin and don't like to change my skincare products often, so I was looking for a product that would be suitable for year-round use, and I think I've found the one with this. The opaque packaging also gives me peace of mind that it won't degrade from indoor UV exposure. I wish the amount was just a bit more, and that it didn't contain fragrance. However, compared to Korean cosmetics (especially Innisfree, which is the worst with its overpowering scent that can cause dizziness as soon as you open the lid), the fragrance in this product is not as strong, and I'm getting used to it while using it. If you apply it from your face down to your neck twice a day, one jar will last a little over a month. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 30, 2016
It's so incredibly moisturizing! I have severely dehydrated, sensitive skin, and even the slightest bit of oil can cause breakouts, but this product doesn't cause any issues at all and absorbs right into my skin. And the glow it gives is amazing - I'm definitely repurchasing this! The only downside is that for skin like mine, it needs to be applied in a thin layer. If you slather it on, it can feel a bit heavy and uncomfortable. I like to apply this in the evenings and follow up with an extra layer of hydrating gel. It leaves my skin feeling just slightly lacking in moisture, so the extra step helps.
