I've been using this product for several years since its release. It applies smoothly, doesn't leave my face feeling tight after application, and has a lightweight finish. First off, the price is quite disappointing. Also, if you don't let it absorb fully before applying makeup, it can occasionally cause pilling. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJun 24, 2019
I definitely noticed the brightening effect. Many of my small blemishes and marks have faded. I used it together with the Xenoptics Spot Essence. The texture is thin, so it absorbs smoothly and feels silky. After absorption, it feels like there's a protective layer on the skin. I have some oiliness in the T-zone and deep dryness, but it seems to provide a decent level of hydration. I've used two bottles and I'm planning to repurchase. It might not provide enough hydration for those with dry skin. Overall, I used it quite satisfactorily, though I wasn't aware of the ingredients... I think using it together with the Xenoptics Spot Essence from the same brand might have contributed to the effectiveness. I just bought it on the staff's recommendation, and well, I was satisfied. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 2, 2019
The texture is bouncy yet moisturizing, and it absorbs well. It's suitable for combination skin types. The formula feels like it would provide excellent hydration and seems to have a calming effect. A plus is that it's colorless! It's moderately hydrating with just a hint of richness. At first, it feels very moisturizing, but it's not overly so. It feels like a silicone overload... and sure enough, the ingredients confirm that. Surprisingly, there aren't as many harmful ingredients as I expected. Unfortunately, silicones are high up on the ingredient list. Rather than feeling like it's nourishing the skin, I use it more as a sealant after applying serum, nourishing cream, or oil. It feels like it's coating the skin to prevent moisture and nutrients from evaporating. For that purpose, it works well. Mixing in a couple of drops of the same brand's Miracle Oil extends the moisturizing effect even longer! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 29, 2019
It absorbs well and keeps my skin hydrated! I have dry, sensitive skin, but I didn't experience any blemishes or allergic reactions. I think it's a cream that truly focuses on hydration. Even when I apply it after other essences or ampoules, it rarely pills and keeps my skin moisturized. I've used about 3 jars, and after trying other moisturizers, I keep coming back to this one! The downside is that it's a bit pricey. Since I have dry skin, those with oily skin might want to test it out first. When buying the Deep Surge Cream, they also recommend the essence, but it caused blemishes for me. When my skin is super sensitive, I only use toner and Deep Surge Cream, or I make a DIY mask by mixing water and cream in a 1:1 ratio on a cotton pad. When I'm not feeling my best, even sheet masks can sometimes cause itching. I've found that mixing a cream that works well for you with either water or an alcohol-free toner on a cotton pad really boosts hydration. Occasionally, when my skin feels dry, I apply the cream and then layer a slightly oily emulsion on top, and my skin stays moisturized until morning. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinNov 18, 2018
This is my favorite cream from the SK-II line. It has a soft, pudding-like texture that's so delightful. The subtle fragrance and moisturizing application are lovely. It absorbs well, and the hydration lasts quite nicely after applying. The biggest drawback with SK-II is definitely the price. Plus, the ingredients don't seem particularly impressive. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 18, 2018
Absorbs beautifully. No blemishes. Perfect balance of richness and hydration. I think I'll be sticking with this moisturizer for a while! Nothing bad, but I'm not sure if it really has any brightening effects. I've been using this consistently after my Pitera essence. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 24, 2017
As someone with oily but dehydrated skin, I'm always careful when choosing moisturizers. This one is great for applying lightly before makeup - it absorbs well and has a nice texture. I've noticed that pricier skincare products often have less irritating fragrances too. It's a shame there are some potentially harmful ingredients, but I'll probably repurchase it anyway. For winter, I think it works well to layer this moisturizer with a facial oil for extra hydration. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 14, 2017
I've been using it for 2 years. I normally like rich creams, but this one seems to keep my skin just as moisturized for a long time. In the summer, I store it in the fridge and just a small amount is enough. It spreads well and can also be used as a face mask. I haven't found a better moisturizer than this yet, so I think I'll continue using it. The only downside might be the price. The texture is like pudding, so it tends to get used up faster. The price in the 100,000 won range is a bit burdensome. If the price could come down below 100,000 won, that would be great. Also, while I use this as a moisturizer, if someone is buying it for whitening purposes, I'm not sure how effective it is for that. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinSep 11, 2017
The product has a smooth application and feels like a moisturizing cream with whitening effects (not sure if it actually brightens the skin). When I applied it during the day, it spread thickly and had to wash my face again because I was in a hurry... I only use it at night as it has a protective barrier-like moisturizing cream feel. Be sure to try a sample before purchasing! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJan 10, 2017
The lightweight formula has good slip and seems to suit me well, so I used it a lot in the summer, but it feels a bit lacking for me in the winter. Even though I have oily skin, it still feels a bit drying. This seems better suited for summer use. The price is expensive, and it contains fragrance, so the scent is nice but I'm worried it might irritate my skin.
