My husband and I have been using Deep Surge for over a decade. There's a reason we've stuck with it for so long. Except for the depths of winter, finishing with Deep Surge leaves our skin feeling fresh. My husband, who hates anything sticky, completes his routine with Pitera Essence, Facial Treatment Essence, Deep Surge, and (sunblock). As for me, the wife, it's hard to summarize my routine as the number and types of products I use vary depending on my skin's condition. Both my husband and I have warm undertones with a yellowish complexion, but a skincare expert told us we're 'warm-bright'. (Apparently, that's why colors typically suited for pastel and cool tones can work for us too.) That's why my husband can't give up on SK-II and uses it consistently. He firmly believes his clear skin is all thanks to SK-II... There's no dramatic improvement in complexion... I'm someone who doesn't expect miracles from skincare products. We've been using the full SK-II line for over 10 years - Pitera Essence, Genoptics Aura Essence, Deep Surge, and occasionally a sheet mask. (Especially my husband; I, as the wife, use a variety of other products as well.) It gives a lovely glow! No blemishes, great hydration, and it makes my skin feel brighter. There's also a nice, bouncy texture to it. The biggest drawback is definitely the price. As someone with sensitive and oily skin, my face usually reacts badly to the wrong products. However, this one keeps blemishes at bay and effectively combats deep dryness. The lightweight formula might not be enough for those with dry skin, potentially leaving you feeling parched if used alone. This product is absolutely top-notch. While SK-II's red cream line might be more famous, I honestly think this one's better. The hydration is superb - you only need to apply a tiny amount for a full moisture boost. Plus, it doesn't cause the blemishes that SK-II products are sometimes known for. I'd say this is truly SK-II's ultimate moisturizer. It's not greasy at all, a little goes a long way, and I highly recommend it for combination to oily skin types. It's quite pricey, I'll give you that. You'll probably use it up in a month or two after buying. But the product itself is really good!

Also, if you stop using it, the glow and hydration effects disappear after about a week. It's quite addictive... To see noticeable results, you need to use it with the entire SK-II line, which can be a burden as you feel compelled to invest in the full range. Try using SK-II Clear Lotion, then Facial Treatment Essence, followed by Aura Essence, and finally Deep Surge Cream in this order. You'll experience an incredibly beautiful complexion~ The glow is visible even in selfies! It's truly a stunning radiance~ Your skin becomes transparently bright. Use a spatula to scoop out just a small amount! If you use your fingers, it quickly turns watery upon contact with your skin. It also seems like it might spoil quickly if not handled properly.

When I woke up in the morning, my complexion seemed noticeably more even and refined. The main drawback, as expected, is the price. I feel like my skin would improve significantly if I purchased the full-size product and used it consistently, but the cost makes me hesitate. I've been using this product for several years since its release. It applies smoothly, doesn't leave my face feeling tight after application, and has a lightweight finish. As a man in my 30s with oily skin and acne scars, I find this product absorbs well and doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy. My wife and I both use it regularly. It rarely causes blemishes or pimples unless I apply too much - with a moderate amount, it works great. The price is on the higher side, I must admit. Other than that, I can't really think of any drawbacks to mention. Apply a moderate amount for best results.
