It truly gives your skin a beautiful glow~ Not all glows are created equal, and SK-II has its own unique radiance. It applies thinly, absorbs quickly, and even with just a light layer, your skin feels deeply hydrated while the surface looks fresh with a clean luminosity. The fragrance is absolutely delightful, creating a calming atmosphere from application to long after. It's undoubtedly the best among moisturizers! It seems the product isn't selling well... While anti-aging creams are widely available, the Deep Surge Cream is hard to find even at SK-II counters, limiting purchase options. Also, if you stop using it, the glow and hydration effects disappear after about a week. It's quite addictive... To see noticeable results, you need to use it with the entire SK-II line, which can be a burden as you feel compelled to invest in the full range. Try using SK-II Clear Lotion, then Facial Treatment Essence, followed by Aura Essence, and finally Deep Surge Cream in this order. You'll experience an incredibly beautiful complexion~ The glow is visible even in selfies! It's truly a stunning radiance~ Your skin becomes transparently bright. Use a spatula to scoop out just a small amount! If you use your fingers, it quickly turns watery upon contact with your skin. It also seems like it might spoil quickly if not handled properly. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinNov 24, 2019
It feels incredibly moisturizing from the moment you apply it, and it absorbs quickly without feeling heavy on the skin So far, the only thing I find disappointing is the price - nothing else - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 5, 2019
As a man in my 30s with oily skin and acne scars, I find this product absorbs well and doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy. My wife and I both use it regularly. It rarely causes blemishes or pimples unless I apply too much - with a moderate amount, it works great. The price is on the higher side, I must admit. Other than that, I can't really think of any drawbacks to mention. Apply a moderate amount for best results. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 2, 2019
The texture is bouncy yet moisturizing, and it absorbs well. It's suitable for combination skin types. The formula feels like it would provide excellent hydration and seems to have a calming effect. A plus is that it's colorless! It's moderately hydrating with just a hint of richness. At first, it feels very moisturizing, but it's not overly so. It feels like a silicone overload... and sure enough, the ingredients confirm that. Surprisingly, there aren't as many harmful ingredients as I expected. Unfortunately, silicones are high up on the ingredient list. Rather than feeling like it's nourishing the skin, I use it more as a sealant after applying serum, nourishing cream, or oil. It feels like it's coating the skin to prevent moisture and nutrients from evaporating. For that purpose, it works well. Mixing in a couple of drops of the same brand's Miracle Oil extends the moisturizing effect even longer! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 3, 2018
Hands down the best moisturizer I've ever used! It absorbs well, leaving skin feeling hydrated without any rich residue. If you have oily skin, this is way better than the K* moisturizer! The jaw-dropping price is the only downside! If they could lower it just a bit, this would easily become the ultimate moisturizer! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 18, 2018
It's incredibly gentle and absorbs into the skin immediately upon application. It provides ample hydration and richness, leaving the skin feeling very moisturized. Honestly, this was the worst experience of my life... In my early 20s, I bought this at duty-free, hoping to find a good skincare routine. I had never had blemishes before, but after using this, my skin completely broke out. I never understood why people were so careful about choosing cosmetics until then. I bought SKII because of its reputation, but it nearly ruined my life. Not only did I get acne, but my entire cheeks became red, inflamed, and covered in strange bumps - not even small ones. I later learned that SKII is more suitable for late 20s and 30s. If you're young, please think twice before using it just because it's popular. Wait until you're older to reconsider. I always had great skin and never had issues with any cosmetics before, but this product caused havoc on my complexion. Of course, my skin has returned to normal now. After I stopped using it and went back to my original products, it took about a month or two to gradually recover. If your skin does react badly, don't panic too much. I managed to bounce back. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 24, 2017
As someone with oily but dehydrated skin, I'm always careful when choosing moisturizers. This one is great for applying lightly before makeup - it absorbs well and has a nice texture. I've noticed that pricier skincare products often have less irritating fragrances too. It's a shame there are some potentially harmful ingredients, but I'll probably repurchase it anyway. For winter, I think it works well to layer this moisturizer with a facial oil for extra hydration. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 23, 2017
The absorption power is good, but I would need to use the other functions more to fully evaluate them. The product's moisturizing power is lower than expected, which is disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 30, 2016
It's so incredibly moisturizing! I have severely dehydrated, sensitive skin, and even the slightest bit of oil can cause breakouts, but this product doesn't cause any issues at all and absorbs right into my skin. And the glow it gives is amazing - I'm definitely repurchasing this! The only downside is that for skin like mine, it needs to be applied in a thin layer. If you slather it on, it can feel a bit heavy and uncomfortable. I like to apply this in the evenings and follow up with an extra layer of hydrating gel. It leaves my skin feeling just slightly lacking in moisture, so the extra step helps.
