  Pros

  When applied, it definitely revives the curl. It's a must-have after getting a hippie perm!

  Cons

  It might be my imagination, but since I started using this essence, I feel like I've been getting blemishes more frequently on my face.

  Pros

  It maintains curls really well. It even enhances the hold of my Dyson Airwrap. When I simply wrap my hair without heat, applying this product keeps the curls alive long after I've let them down.

  Cons

  I really want to keep using it, but the major downside is that it causes huge blemishes on the sides of my face, back, and back of my neck. If I sleep without washing it out after application, it's a disaster. I get blemishes every time I use it... I have to give up.
