As someone with fair skin, I love how this evens out my complexion with just one application. It's perfect for a light, natural makeup look. The price is a bit steep, and the product size is on the smaller side. Other than that, I have no complaints. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAug 26, 2020
I tried out two samples. As soon as you apply it, it instantly brightens your complexion to a lovely pink tone. At first, you might wonder what's changed, but your skin subtly transforms to a brighter, more radiant look in a natural way. The ingredients are disappointing and the price isn't great either. Unless you already have perfect skin, I wouldn't feel comfortable going out with just this on. Plus, once you wear a mask, it quickly wears off due to heat, leaving you bare-faced. It worked well as a base before foundation. Even if my foundation fades, this product provides a nice backup color. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMar 19, 2020
- Absorbs beautifully It applies smoothly without any pilling, gliding on effortlessly. It feels lightweight and goes on in a thin layer. - Gorgeous packaging As expected from an Yves Saint Laurent product, the packaging is truly stunning and luxurious. - Brightens complexion It evens skin tone naturally without being overwhelming. Perfect for a no-makeup makeup look. It lifts your complexion by about half a shade. - Weak brightening effect While the natural look is a plus, the skin-evening effect is so subtle it becomes a drawback. It does brighten, but that's about it... The brightening moisturizer effect is minimal. - Odd color It's a pink-toned CC cream, but it's such a true pink that it almost gives a... porcine hue? - Drying While not severely drying, it does tend to be on the drier side. - Low coverage It doesn't really cover blemishes or skin imperfections. It's really just for evening out skin tone. Overall, it doesn't seem to live up to its price point. If you're not going for a bare-faced look, I'd recommend using this product as a base and then applying another foundation on top, rather than using it alone. Also, I've tried the purple shade of the same product, and I think I prefer that one. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinFeb 8, 2020
1. It's perfect for days when you don't want a thick layer of makeup. 2. Initially, the pink tint might seem too bright, but once you blend it well, it beautifully enhances your complexion! 3. The absorbs well is excellent! 1. Being a Yves Saint Laurent product, it's inevitably on the pricier side. 2. When applied thinly, it doesn't seem to cover blemishes very effectively. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAug 4, 2019
My skin looks absolutely amazing with this! It naturally brightens and provides subtle coverage. It works well on its own, and for quick outings, I just apply this. I tried a sample first, loved it, and splurged on the full size despite the price. Yes, that's right. One day I went out wearing only this without washing my face, and yikes, it emphasized the dead skin cells on my forehead. The application feels a bit stiff, but personally, I prefer matte finishes over oily ones, so it's not bad for me. After my skincare routine, I applied this, then lightly patted Armani Power Fabric Balm Cushion on areas needing coverage. The result was fantastic - my skin looked naturally flawless. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 23, 2019
After applying, it makes your skin look incredibly radiant! The brightening effect is so natural! Apart from the brightening effect, there's not much else... The coverage is practically non-existent, unfortunately It seems best to apply a thin layer before your foundation! - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 28, 2019
It's pretty decent and really brightens up my complexion. Applying it with a damp sponge seems to work quite well. The coverage isn't as high as I expected. Trying to layer it for more coverage makes it feel too thick on the skin. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinOct 5, 2018
The first few times I used it, my complexion was so brightened that people commented on how radiant I looked After applying it a few times, I noticed blemishes appearing on my face. It seems there might be some ingredients that don't agree with my skin Rather than using it daily, it might be better to use this occasionally when you want to give your skin a boost of radiance - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 7, 2018
The color is fantastic! When I use this before my YSL foundation, it brightens my complexion by a whole shade, making me look more radiant. When I apply this alone, the area around my eyes becomes extremely irritated. I'm not sure which ingredient doesn't agree with me, but it seems the overall formulation isn't great for sensitive skin. Despite the beautiful color, it's hard to use because the skin around my eyes tingles so much. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinJul 29, 2017
I tried the sample and found the application to be smooth, with less caking compared to other products. It also makes my skin tone look naturally radiant (I tend to look dull when wearing foundation). The only downside so far is the price, but the ingredients don't seem that great. It's not irritating, but I have a feeling long-term use might not be ideal.
