As someone with fair skin, I love how this evens out my complexion with just one application. It's perfect for a light, natural makeup look. The price is a bit steep, and the product size is on the smaller side. Other than that, I have no complaints. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMar 19, 2020
- Absorbs beautifully It applies smoothly without any pilling, gliding on effortlessly. It feels lightweight and goes on in a thin layer. - Gorgeous packaging As expected from an Yves Saint Laurent product, the packaging is truly stunning and luxurious. - Brightens complexion It evens skin tone naturally without being overwhelming. Perfect for a no-makeup makeup look. It lifts your complexion by about half a shade. - Weak brightening effect While the natural look is a plus, the skin-evening effect is so subtle it becomes a drawback. It does brighten, but that's about it... The brightening moisturizer effect is minimal. - Odd color It's a pink-toned CC cream, but it's such a true pink that it almost gives a... porcine hue? - Drying While not severely drying, it does tend to be on the drier side. - Low coverage It doesn't really cover blemishes or skin imperfections. It's really just for evening out skin tone. Overall, it doesn't seem to live up to its price point. If you're not going for a bare-faced look, I'd recommend using this product as a base and then applying another foundation on top, rather than using it alone. Also, I've tried the purple shade of the same product, and I think I prefer that one. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinOct 23, 2019
It applies so thinly and naturally, with amazing adherence. I wore this to the dentist once, and even when the doctor touched my face during the checkup, it didn't budge at all. Even when it fades, it does so beautifully. As someone who prefers a more hydrating formula, I find it a bit dry to apply directly. I use a damp beauty sponge to apply it, and sometimes mix it with a moisturizing primer. The coverage is quite sheer, but I bought it mainly for evening out my complexion, so that's fine for me. I squeeze out about a fingernail-sized amount on the back of my hand, then dab it with my fingers on different areas of my face, except the nose. Then I blend it out with a beauty sponge. For the nose, I use what's left on the sponge. If you're worried about accentuating texture, use a pore-filling primer first. I use the Banila Co primer. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 9, 2019
Since my skin doesn't have many blemishes, I prefer a product with light coverage that brightens my complexion. This CC cream from Yves Saint Laurent does exactly that! It applies thinly and gives me a radiant look. I'm not sure about the ingredients, but I'm on my third tube and haven't experienced any breakouts because of it. I don't have any particular complaints. However, if you're looking for high coverage, this might not be the right product for you. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 22, 2019
It applies thinly and naturally brightens my complexion, giving my face with yellow undertones a more vibrant and lively appearance. As I have dry skin, I wish it was a bit more hydrating. Also, the price is a little on the steep side. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 5, 2017
I really like the feeling of lightly changing the dull areas of my face to a pink tone. I prefer a glowing skin, but there is no special glow effect and it finishes cleanly. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinMar 31, 2017
I highly recommend this to anyone who wants a brightening effect. It applies thinly and adheres well, making it feel light and truly brightening. It seems to have a slightly velvety finish. I just looked at the ingredients and saw that some not-so-good things are included. :( I really like hydrated skin, so I like to mix it a little with a moisturizing cream and apply it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 15, 2017
When you apply this and then foundation, it seems to maintain a bright and radiant look all day without any darkening. It's like a combination of a base and primer, you know? I've tried base products from many different brands, but this seems to be the best at maintaining a bright and luminous complexion without any darkening. It's moisturizing, yet has a thin and lightweight application, so I think it would suit both oily and dry skin types well. I've only been using the sample for about two weeks, so I'll need to observe a bit longer to see if there are any issues like breakouts, skin irritation, or pigmentation. It felt gentle, but the ingredients don't seem that great. The Yves Saint Laurent CC cream doesn't seem to have a huge buzz, but there's apparently a dedicated fan base for it. Since the samples are available at most stores, it might be worth trying it out.
