It naturally brightens the skin with a pink hue and the effect lasts for a long time. The staying power is excellent. These days, with mask-wearing, it's great to finish with just this product as it doesn't feel stuffy. It feels a bit dry, so it might be better suited for use in summer. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMar 19, 2020
- Absorbs beautifully It applies smoothly without any pilling, gliding on effortlessly. It feels lightweight and goes on in a thin layer. - Gorgeous packaging As expected from an Yves Saint Laurent product, the packaging is truly stunning and luxurious. - Brightens complexion It evens skin tone naturally without being overwhelming. Perfect for a no-makeup makeup look. It lifts your complexion by about half a shade. - Weak brightening effect While the natural look is a plus, the skin-evening effect is so subtle it becomes a drawback. It does brighten, but that's about it... The brightening moisturizer effect is minimal. - Odd color It's a pink-toned CC cream, but it's such a true pink that it almost gives a... porcine hue? - Drying While not severely drying, it does tend to be on the drier side. - Low coverage It doesn't really cover blemishes or skin imperfections. It's really just for evening out skin tone. Overall, it doesn't seem to live up to its price point. If you're not going for a bare-faced look, I'd recommend using this product as a base and then applying another foundation on top, rather than using it alone. Also, I've tried the purple shade of the same product, and I think I prefer that one. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 20, 2019
The brightening moisturizer works wonders! It naturally gives your complexion a lovely, radiant glow. It lacks coverage. Those with already good skin might be able to use it alone, but if you apply cushion foundation or liquid foundation on top, it severely emphasizes dead skin cells, causes pilling, and leads to extreme dryness. The accentuation of flaky skin is really bad, and I noticed the ingredients aren't great. As someone with sensitive skin, it caused me to break out terribly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 7, 2018
The staying power is absolutely top-notch! The color is also incredibly beautiful. When first applied, it might look a bit pale, but as time passes, it seems to settle into a natural shade. It keeps me looking radiant all day long, which is fantastic. I've heard some concerns about the ingredients, but I think if you're diligent with cleansing after makeup, it should be fine! Personally, I believe it's better to use a base with excellent longevity, even if it's not perfect, rather than dealing with makeup that breaks down, requiring frequent touch-ups, or having my oil and moisture balance disrupted, leading to dead skin cells and makeup that doesn't sit well. Before using this product, I used He* Magic Starter, which was also moisturizing and nice, but this CC base seems to have even better staying power! It's especially great for summer use. The price is a bit wicked, and looking at Hwahae, the ingredients aren't the best, to be honest. It can be a bit drying, so make sure to build a solid skincare routine underneath. I recommend applying only a small amount. A little goes a long way in evening out your complexion! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinNov 16, 2017
I tried it as a sample and it was really great because the tone correction was definite. On days when I do light makeup, I think just using this one would be enough. I highly recommend it when you want to do a natural-looking makeup. If you apply it without building a solid base, it can feel a bit dry (combination skin). . - Hwahae UserOily SkinJun 15, 2017
It brightens up the complexion. I think it's good for oily skin, but I recommend it for oily skin. It has no coverage and is quite drying for those with dry skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinJun 10, 2017
It's refreshing when you first apply it. The packaging is also pretty. It doesn't absorb well and leaves a bumpy residue on the skin. I'm using it up reluctantly since it's a waste. This makes my skin feel dry. I don't recommend this for combination skin or those with dry, sensitive skin. .
