Great for a natural brightening effect with a pink undertone when you want a subtle glow. While the natural look is nice, it's disappointing that there's hardly any coverage. You need to be careful with the amount applied - use too much and you'll look too pale, so blend it well. It tends to settle into the creases around the nose and eyelids. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMar 19, 2020
- Absorbs beautifully It applies smoothly without any pilling, gliding on effortlessly. It feels lightweight and goes on in a thin layer. - Gorgeous packaging As expected from an Yves Saint Laurent product, the packaging is truly stunning and luxurious. - Brightens complexion It evens skin tone naturally without being overwhelming. Perfect for a no-makeup makeup look. It lifts your complexion by about half a shade. - Weak brightening effect While the natural look is a plus, the skin-evening effect is so subtle it becomes a drawback. It does brighten, but that's about it... The brightening moisturizer effect is minimal. - Odd color It's a pink-toned CC cream, but it's such a true pink that it almost gives a... porcine hue? - Drying While not severely drying, it does tend to be on the drier side. - Low coverage It doesn't really cover blemishes or skin imperfections. It's really just for evening out skin tone. Overall, it doesn't seem to live up to its price point. If you're not going for a bare-faced look, I'd recommend using this product as a base and then applying another foundation on top, rather than using it alone. Also, I've tried the purple shade of the same product, and I think I prefer that one. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinFeb 8, 2020
1. It's perfect for days when you don't want a thick layer of makeup. 2. Initially, the pink tint might seem too bright, but once you blend it well, it beautifully enhances your complexion! 3. The absorbs well is excellent! 1. Being a Yves Saint Laurent product, it's inevitably on the pricier side. 2. When applied thinly, it doesn't seem to cover blemishes very effectively. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinOct 23, 2019
It applies so thinly and naturally, with amazing adherence. I wore this to the dentist once, and even when the doctor touched my face during the checkup, it didn't budge at all. Even when it fades, it does so beautifully. As someone who prefers a more hydrating formula, I find it a bit dry to apply directly. I use a damp beauty sponge to apply it, and sometimes mix it with a moisturizing primer. The coverage is quite sheer, but I bought it mainly for evening out my complexion, so that's fine for me. I squeeze out about a fingernail-sized amount on the back of my hand, then dab it with my fingers on different areas of my face, except the nose. Then I blend it out with a beauty sponge. For the nose, I use what's left on the sponge. If you're worried about accentuating texture, use a pore-filling primer first. I use the Banila Co primer. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 23, 2019
After applying, it makes your skin look incredibly radiant! The brightening effect is so natural! Apart from the brightening effect, there's not much else... The coverage is practically non-existent, unfortunately It seems best to apply a thin layer before your foundation! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 20, 2019
The brightening moisturizer works wonders! It naturally gives your complexion a lovely, radiant glow. It lacks coverage. Those with already good skin might be able to use it alone, but if you apply cushion foundation or liquid foundation on top, it severely emphasizes dead skin cells, causes pilling, and leads to extreme dryness. The accentuation of flaky skin is really bad, and I noticed the ingredients aren't great. As someone with sensitive skin, it caused me to break out terribly. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 9, 2019
Since my skin doesn't have many blemishes, I prefer a product with light coverage that brightens my complexion. This CC cream from Yves Saint Laurent does exactly that! It applies thinly and gives me a radiant look. I'm not sure about the ingredients, but I'm on my third tube and haven't experienced any breakouts because of it. I don't have any particular complaints. However, if you're looking for high coverage, this might not be the right product for you. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 3, 2019
It's moisturizing with a slight brightening effect. The tube packaging makes it convenient to use. While it's hydrating, it barely provides any coverage and isn't worth the price. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 19, 2019
It provides a natural brightening effect and feels moisturizing, making it easy to apply and absorb well Despite being called a CC cream, it has almost no coverage and works more like a makeup base. However, it's not even good as a base because it severely emphasizes dead skin cells and doesn't adhere well to the skin. The staying power and adherence seem to be at their worst. The excess oil it produces leads to messy makeup breakdown... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 21, 2019
It naturally evens skin tone while providing hydration, and the smooth application is a plus. When used as a primer, it seems to help control oiliness and prevent makeup from breaking down. The coverage is too light for standalone use. Layering it makes the product sit on the skin oddly. When I try to apply other products on top, it feels a bit dry, so I don't reach for it often. The ingredients... well, they're not as impressive as I'd hoped.
