I've tried almost every high-end foundation out there, but this one takes the cake for my blemish-prone skin. It adheres perfectly, creating a smooth, seamless finish. Its excellent coverage means a little goes a long way in concealing imperfections. What I love most is how it doesn't look cakey or thick when applied, and it minimizes the appearance of pores - that's a huge plus! While it applies thinly and evenly, it tends to dry to a matte finish. To prevent pilling and avoid emphasizing dead skin cells, I've found it's best to prep with light, hydrating skincare products. The matte effect can make fine lines around the eyes more noticeable, so getting the right amount takes some practice. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 14, 2019
I have combination dehydrated skin. Other foundations would severely clog my pores, but this one doesn't get stuck in them! If you're concerned about pores, this is really great. It's especially good for use in summer. Due to its slightly matte and powdery finish, it can look a bit flaky during dry seasons, unfortunately. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinFeb 18, 2019
First off, the color is absolutely gorgeous! It gives a brighter, more radiant look compared to other products with similar light pink tones. But that's not all - the coverage is excellent too! If you're a fan of matte foundations, you're going to love this! It has an incredibly smooth, powder-like finish that wears beautifully throughout the day. For those seeking a matte foundation, I'd highly recommend this over Double Wear any day. Despite its matte finish, there's a slight darkening effect, though it's not severe. Honestly, it's hard to find any real drawbacks with this foundation. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinJan 13, 2019
The coverage was great, and I loved how it glided on smoothly like water. It absorbs beautifully into the skin. Unfortunately, it doesn't last long, breaks down unattractively, and looks too matte on the skin. I found that applying it with a dense brush helped improve its longevity somewhat. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 28, 2018
This foundation is a champion for summer or hot days. Its staying power is incredible even with sweat, and its matte texture prevents makeup from breaking down. It's perfect for those who prefer a light application of just foundation, offering a powdery finish that's even better. The #774 shade has a yellow undertone that's great for blemish-prone skin, as it subtly neutralizes redness without needing a separate base. If you're looking for an ultra-matte summer foundation for oily skin, this hits the mark perfectly. However, the extremely matte texture makes application quite challenging. Whether using a foundation brush or beauty blender, it's tough to spread evenly on the face. Once it dries, you might notice patches where the talc-like powder hasn't blended well. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I found the intensely matte finish and coverage a bit disappointing. I also wish the ingredients were more refined. Rather than applying this product alone, it works better when paired with complementary products (like the non-pilling Hera Mist Cushion). For a more natural finish, try mixing it with a moisturizer. While this slightly reduces coverage, it enhances the foundation's hydration and allows for a thinner, more even application, improving its overall absorbs. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 20, 2018
There's not a single improvement after the reformulation... Not one! The original version 774 of the pore-blurring foundation used to cover naturally like my own skin and had a semi-matte finish that didn't get oily. Its best feature was how beautifully it wore off, but all of this is gone with the reformulation. The color is now too light and doesn't blend well, and it's become completely matte. Even with my oily skin, it emphasizes flakes and pores terribly as it wears off. Everyone I know also thinks it's worse after the reformulation. Why on earth did they change it like this? Can't they please bring back the previous version? I still haven't found a foundation that compares to the old one... I feel like I'm just wasting money trying to find a replacement. It might work for some skin types, but those who prioritize how a foundation wears off should probably avoid it. If you're interested, definitely test it out and observe how it wears throughout the day before buying. It's not exactly cheap, after all. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinJan 24, 2018
This is the best one I've tried so far. I love how natural the color looks. It's quite matte... If there's a downside, it's that it's expensive. Really, really expensive. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinNov 22, 2017
The coverage is quite good. It has a somewhat matte application. I usually use shade 21 and my skin is not extremely bright. It matches me well in a neutral way. I purchased this after my previous Architect version was discontinued, thinking it would be similar, but... it's causing me trouble. There seems to be something in the ingredients that doesn't agree with me. Fundamentally, this brand doesn't have the best ingredients. The longevity is so-so. Since it's matte, mixing it with a more emollient product would likely work better.
