There's some darkening and it can settle into wrinkles. Also, shade 774 is a perfect match for Asians with slightly lighter complexions.

It provides gentle pore coverage without being oily. When applied with a sponge, it absorbs well and naturally blends into the skin, giving a seamless color finish.

It's unfortunate that it's a Japanese product. Since it's a matte formula, for better pore coverage, apply a primer to cover your pores first, then use this product.

I loved how well it concealed my pores and the color beautifully complemented my warm-toned complexion. It brightens my skin after use, which is why I've repurchased this product.

Make sure to consider your skin type carefully.

While the tone looks natural, it has a yellowish tint for some reason. I'm not sure why. The color doesn't provide attractive coverage, and the coverage itself is very minimal. Even though I don't have many blemishes, the product just sat on top of my small pimples.

Worst of all, it's extremely drying. Those with oily skin who prefer a matte finish might find it suitable, but I wouldn't spend my own money on this. There are so many better foundations available at drugstores that I'd rather purchase instead.

This is truly the best foundation of my life! I switched from Double Wear, and this Pore-Perfecting Foundation really lives up to its name.

It works best when applied with the Shu Uemura special puff.

I can't fathom why they reformulated this... It's unusable now. It emphasizes dead skin cells terribly, the alcohol scent is even stronger, and that signature smoothness is gone - it feels so dry now. I'm even getting blemishes that I never had before. The matte effect can make fine lines around the eyes more noticeable, so getting the right amount takes some practice.

I've tried almost every high-end foundation out there, but this one takes the cake for my blemish-prone skin. It adheres perfectly, creating a smooth, seamless finish. Its excellent coverage means a little goes a long way in concealing imperfections. What I love most is how it doesn't look cakey or thick when applied, and it minimizes the appearance of pores - that's a huge plus!

After the renewal, the texture seems to have changed from slightly thick to more watery. The alcohol scent is also quite strong. The number of cautionary ingredients has increased from 2 to 4. I don't understand why they renewed it. This is my second time using it, but I'm planning to switch to something else...

It covers pores well and is great for summer use. It's lightweight and doesn't feel suffocating. Perfect for daily use. The coverage is good too.

For even better pore-covering results, try applying it in circular motions with a dense foundation brush.

The downside is that it stings my eyes and has a strong alcohol scent when applied.
