Until the reformulation, this was my holy grail foundation... I went through about 20 bottles over 7 years, using it up completely every time! I can't fathom why they reformulated this... It's unusable now. It emphasizes dead skin cells terribly, the alcohol scent is even stronger, and that signature smoothness is gone - it feels so dry now. I'm even getting blemishes that I never had before. Looks like I'll have to search for a new foundation after all this time. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 29, 2018
The color is quite versatile. It doesn't set too quickly, so it's forgiving if you apply it casually. It tends to emphasize pores and dead skin cells quite noticeably. While it looks decent right after application, the way it breaks down over time is disappointing. If you prefer a yellow undertone, this might work for you. However, if you're looking for a more neutral complexion, you might want to consider purchasing a different product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 12, 2017
The product was great for me, as I wanted a soft and smooth skin expression~ When I apply it with the puff recommended along with the foundation at the department store, my skin looks really nice and glowy haha There's no better coverage than this, so I'm using up two whole containers of it. If you don't take care of your dead skin and moisture, the flakiness can get quite severe! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 14, 2017
My skin has a lot of acne due to its complexity. This is the second foundation I've used after the Etude Double Lasting, so I'm not sure about other foundations. But I feel that it applies evenly even when applied by hand, and as a pore foundation, it does a good job of filling in the pores. It also breaks down beautifully without becoming messy. It even looks nice when a bit oily. Although I'm a somewhat sensitive type, it doesn't get worse in the summer. That's why I'm on my second bottle, and the upgraded version has much less yellowness and is more suitable in terms of powderiness. It may look dull on the outside, but when applied, my skin becomes appropriately brightened despite being reddish. Even though I have combination skin, if the base makeup is not built up well, it can become flaky, and over time, the pores become very prominent. Other than that, I don't know if I'm just insensitive or haven't tried many different foundations, but I didn't experience any inconvenient issues. It's great if you apply it after building up a strong base! I used it together with the Shu Uemura primer, and the combination seemed to work well. Even though I have acne-prone skin, I've heard a lot of compliments that my skin looks great!
