This is the best foundation I've ever used! I have fair skin with redness, and this foundation is like magic - it covers my redness and makes my complexion look beautifully smooth and flawless. I'm so disappointed that this product has been discontinued. Looks like I'll be on the hunt for a new foundation again. It's really heartbreaking! Use a dedicated foundation sponge to carefully apply the product around your eyes and nose for the best results. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 2, 2020
It provides gentle pore coverage without being oily. When applied with a sponge, it absorbs well and naturally blends into the skin, giving a seamless color finish. There's some darkening and it can settle into wrinkles. Also, shade 774 is a perfect match for Asians with slightly lighter complexions. Recommended to apply with a sponge for best results. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 15, 2020
I loved how well it concealed my pores and the color beautifully complemented my warm-toned complexion. It brightens my skin after use, which is why I've repurchased this product. It's unfortunate that it's a Japanese product. Since it's a matte formula, for better pore coverage, apply a primer to cover your pores first, then use this product. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinJan 5, 2020
It effectively covers pores and uneven texture. I'm very satisfied that I don't need to use a separate primer, as it doesn't settle into pores. As I have combination skin, one downside is its longevity. It works best when applied with the Shu Uemura special puff. - Hwahae UserDry SkinNov 11, 2019
I tried this product with a sample I received. It absorbs well and does a great job of covering pores. It's extremely matte, so I wouldn't recommend it for very dry skin. Keep that in mind. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJun 21, 2019
The most attractive features are its ability to effectively conceal pores and how well it absorbs into the skin. I can't think of many downsides. I've gone through several bottles of this. However, it might not be the best choice for those with dry skin... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 9, 2019
I've tried almost every high-end foundation out there, but this one takes the cake for my blemish-prone skin. It adheres perfectly, creating a smooth, seamless finish. Its excellent coverage means a little goes a long way in concealing imperfections. What I love most is how it doesn't look cakey or thick when applied, and it minimizes the appearance of pores - that's a huge plus! While it applies thinly and evenly, it tends to dry to a matte finish. To prevent pilling and avoid emphasizing dead skin cells, I've found it's best to prep with light, hydrating skincare products. The matte effect can make fine lines around the eyes more noticeable, so getting the right amount takes some practice. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 7, 2019
I've been using this foundation exclusively for years now. After trying other products due to the high price, I was unsatisfied and completely switched back to the Shu Uemura pore-perfecting foundation. I think I'm on my 6th bottle already! It does a great job of concealing pores to some extent. Everything else about it is perfect, but the price is downright wicked... And it keeps going up, too... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 8, 2019
Great for covering pores with a soft, matte finish. It has excellent staying power and even fades gracefully throughout the day. There's a slight yellow undertone, but it actually adheres so well to my skin that I don't have any major complaints. When used with L'Oreal primer, even those with average skin will hear people say, 'Wow, your pores are practically invisible!' - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 28, 2019
Holy grail foundation. Many say it's gotten worse since the reformulation, but for me, the new version is a perfect match. As my skin became drier, finding a hydrating foundation felt like searching for a needle in a haystack. This one is moisturizing yet has decent staying power. I heard it works best with a flat brush, so that's how I apply it. Compared to using a sponge, it offers better coverage and adherence. It has just the right amount of hydration, fades beautifully, and the shade matches me perfectly. I think I've found my go-to. Summer might be a challenge though, so I'll need to find a separate summer foundation. The fact that the color suits me so well is probably the best thing about it. The only downside is perhaps how it applies? I want to use it sparingly, but that's not really possible. Maybe it's a marketing tactic... sigh. Apply gently with a flat brush! Before you know it, it'll be perfectly blended into your skin.
