When applied, it makes the skin feel slightly smoother. It was challenging to find the right amount, but once you get used to the scent and texture, it's manageable to apply. Despite having sensitive skin, I don't think this product ever caused any blemishes. The size was good for trying it out without committing to a large amount, and the price wasn't too high, making it easy to give it a shot. The brand's image of 'using only necessary ingredients' really resonated with me. (It's been over 6 months since I bought it, so I don't remember the exact wording, but that was the general idea)
ConsI have dry skin... and this product is drying... I didn't buy the essence(?) that's supposed to create a synergy effect when used together, so when my skin was dry, I absolutely couldn't use this. Nowadays, I've learned that it works better in combination with moisturizing emulsions or essences, so I'm using it without getting too dry. I bought this product after hearing it helps with scars and minor skin issues, but after using it for over 6 months, I'm not sure what's good about it... It's not particularly bad, but the scent is strong and it's drying, so I wonder if I really need to use this product... As mentioned earlier, the scent is strong... I'd never smelled magnesium before, so it took about 3 months to get used to it lol. Even now when I use it, I still think 'the scent is a bit much...' Rather than having a calming effect on the skin, it's closer to helping fade existing scars, so it was better not to apply it when my skin condition was really bad.
TipEspecially for those with dry skin! Before using this product, please use a moisturizing product first. Whether it's an emulsion or essence, it doesn't matter, but products that are only moisturizing when applied and dry out quickly won't help much. Apply a product that retains moisture well first, then apply this to avoid dryness.

The Ordinary's Niacinamide paired with Buffet is a combination I can't recommend enough. It's truly a game-changer! Not only has it brightened my complexion, but it's also reduced my blemishes. It's one of the three The Ordinary products that transformed my troubled skin into a glowing, honey-like complexion. I don't usually give strong recommendations, but The Ordinary has me singing its praises. For context, my skin is combination - dry in the U-zone, acne-prone on the chin (weird, right?), and normal to dry in the T-zone. Thanks to this, my chin acne is finally under control!
ConsThe only downside is the small amount you get! I find myself using it sparingly. I really wish they'd sell it in larger sizes.
TipI primarily use this as part of my nighttime routine. It works wonderfully when layered with niacinamide and Buffet serum. Apply it after your serum for best results.

So far, I'm using it without any blemishes... I like that the container isn't a jar.
ConsI'm not sure about the vitamin effects or if it really works well together as claimed. It's colorless and odorless, and I'm skeptical if any visible results are due to this product. But since they say it's a good combination, I'm still using it for now...

It seems to have some effect, but nothing extraordinary. As I have sensitive skin, I was afraid to apply pure vitamin C directly, so I opted for this product. I've been using it for 6 months, focusing on my cheeks and chin where I wanted to fade acne scars. While using it, I don't get any blemishes, but if I accidentally apply too much, they appear immediately. I'm using an extremely small amount, about the same as I would use for eye cream. Maybe that's why I don't see dramatic results... I've also tried La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo+ for two bottles, and in terms of effectiveness, they seem pretty similar. Not sure what to try next, so I'm planning to reorder this one again.
ConsYou need to be careful with the amount you apply, and the smell isn't great. I didn't particularly mind the scent, but a friend tried it once and said the smell was really off-putting. Also, whether in Korea or the US, the shipping leaves something to be desired.
TipI found that applying a tiny amount works best for me to avoid blemishes. When I compare with old photos, I can definitely see that my scars have faded. It seems you need to use it consistently to see results. Don't apply it before makeup as it can cause pilling, it's best to use it before bed!

I haven't experienced any blemishes. It's only been a week of use, so I can't speak to significant results yet, but given its mild formula and affordable price, I'm considering continuing to use it.
ConsThe downside is the lack of physical stores. Also, it seems best to apply this product only in the evening. It feels like it might pill a bit and can leave the skin feeling dry with some deep dryness.
