I appreciate that it comes in a small quantity at an affordable price, making it easy to give it a try. It didn't cause any significant irritation to my sensitive skin. Many people mentioned pilling issues in their reviews, but I didn't experience any pilling, even when layering, as long as I patted it in gently. However, I didn't wear makeup over it.
ConsThis product really doesn't seem to work for me. It's the ultimate culprit for deep dryness. I bought it along with niacinamide since they're supposed to work well together, but my skin condition wasn't great to begin with. The niacinamide caused an intense burning sensation and redness, so I had to wash it off. Because of this, I couldn't really test how well they work together. Even after applying it over 5 layers of Bioderma mist, I still experienced severe dehydration. Not wanting to give up, I tried mixing it with The Ordinary's 'B' Oil and Borage Seed Oil. The result? A face that looked oily on the outside but felt parched on the inside. Living in Canada has made me appreciate Korean skincare products even more.
TipFor those with typically dry skin, I'd recommend using this only on summer nights, as it may not provide enough hydration for fall and winter. Before applying the product, make sure to use a hydrating serum or a deeply moisturizing product and let it absorb fully. Then, gently pat this product onto your skin. Be careful not to get it in your eyes, as it may cause irritation.

Using it together with a zinc-infused ampoule seems to make it even better! The absorption is a bit less than regular creams, so you need to massage it in thoroughly.
ConsThe scent is slightly off-putting, and occasionally if you don't apply it correctly, it can pill like dead skin. Apart from these issues, it's pretty decent.

However, this one uses stabilized ingredients, allowing me to use it without any irritation. I apply a small amount as the final step in my skincare routine, and I love how it provides subtle hydration without feeling greasy.
ConsRegarding the brightening effects... I think I saw more results with niacinamide. When I first started using this product, I noticed my complexion looked brighter the next day. But as I continued using it, perhaps because I got used to it, I don't see much of a difference now.

I haven't experienced any blemishes. It's only been a week of use, so I can't speak to significant results yet, but given its mild formula and affordable price, I'm considering continuing to use it.
ConsThe downside is the lack of physical stores. Also, it seems best to apply this product only in the evening. It feels like it might pill a bit and can leave the skin feeling dry with some deep dryness.

It doesn't feel like it's just sitting on top of the skin either. I didn't have high expectations since I was using it as a brightening moisturizer with Vitamin C, but it's actually quite nice. I'll update after using it more.
ConsNothing bad to report yet. The only sad thing is the small amount... sigh.
TipAfter exfoliating and using Dewytree Essence Water, I applied this and my skin became so healthy!
