  Pros

  My blemishes have significantly reduced. I think using it consistently alongside niacinamide has really maximized its effectiveness.

  Cons

  When you rub it, it can pill, so you need to gently pat it in for better absorption. That's why I only use it at night.

  Pros

  I've had combination dehydrated skin with acne for 10 years. Recently, my acne has improved a bit! Another The Ordinary product, their Niacinamide, is my holy grail... I used this product alongside it, and it noticeably faded my acne scars. I've been using it consistently every evening for over 4 months! While the effects aren't dramatic, it's definitely effective with consistent use. Plus, the affordable price is a huge advantage! This product proves that inexpensive doesn't mean ineffective!

  Cons

  It's challenging to use in the morning. I've tried it a few times, but it pills terribly under makeup. Even when applying it alone, the product itself seems to pill. You need to pat it in firmly for it to absorb properly!

  Tip

  Using this with Niacinamide is amazing! Since this product contains a Vitamin C derivative rather than pure Vitamin C, it's safe to use alongside Niacinamide!

  Pros

  The affordable price and gentle ingredients were the best things about it! I heard it works well with niacinamide, so I tried using both together, but I didn't see any significant results.

  Cons

  The smell... I really can't use it because of the scent. I wasn't expecting a pleasant fragrance, but if it were at least unscented, I would have used it consistently despite feeling it was a waste. Also, I'm not sure about how well it absorbs. It feels like it just sits on the skin. I don't think I'll buy it again...

  Pros

  I ended up with severe brown marks after squeezing my acne by myself... While researching products good for pigmentation, I learned about The Ordinary through a YouTuber and switched my skincare routine to their line. The YouTuber highly recommended it and said they saw real results, so I bought it with high hopes.

  Cons

  First of all, the smell is really awful... I'm not sure if it's supposed to smell like this, but I've never used a skincare product with such an unpleasant scent before. Despite that, I used it hoping for good results, but forget about how it absorbs - it pills terribly! No matter how much I pat it in, it just doesn't work...

  Tip

  Unfortunately, I stopped using it after only about 3 days.
