There's no white cast, and while it might seem a bit shiny at first, it's definitely not overwhelming. I'd say the biggest advantage is its gentle, non-irritating, and lightweight texture.
ConsWhen I first used it, my skin was in terrible condition, so the ethanol (alcohol) made it sting quite a bit. I was spending long nights studying and staring at the computer screen, which made my eyes super sensitive, and this product felt a bit irritating. However, when my skin was in a normal to slightly problematic state, I had no issues at all!

The packaging is attractive - good marketing made me buy it...
ConsI have dry skin and a bit of atopic dermatitis. After applying this, my skin became insanely dry after a short while. I honestly thought I was dying - it was so itchy and tingling. It nearly ruined my entire day's schedule.

I've finally found my forever product. Unlike other sunscreens that always feel like, well, sunscreen - even the essence types - this one feels just like applying a basic skincare product. It's like putting on a rich, bouncy essence. I have super sensitive skin, but this didn't cause any blemishes! I'm honestly baffled why this isn't more famous. It seems only those who've tried it sing its praises.
ConsUgh, as soon as I applied it, I felt my face getting hot and red. It was itchy and had a tingling sensation too. While it didn't cause any blemishes, I think the alcohol content might be the culprit. I don't think I'll be able to use this long-term. It also causes some pilling with foundation. I wish it was more readily available in offline stores too. It's a shame that such a good product has low accessibility.

I have combination skin with an oily T-zone and dry cheeks, plus some blemishes here and there! Product Texture: The texture is like a moisturizing emulsion with a yellowish tint that glides on smoothly! Application: The application is absolutely fantastic! It spreads like an emulsion, with a nice bouncy feel and zero white cast! It doesn't get caught in the creases around my nose either! It applies so smoothly and hydrating, you'd think I just did my skincare routine. Size: The case is more compact than I expected (smaller than my palm!), but this turned out to be a plus. It's perfect for popping into your makeup bag and super convenient for on-the-go touch-ups! Effectiveness: As a student, I sometimes have to run around the sports field in the blazing sun, and this sunscreen was a game-changer!! Usually, when I wear sunscreen, it tends to melt off, but this one seemed to form a protective layer on my skin. There was hardly any sunscreen 'sweat', it was truly amazing!
ConsPrice: While the compact size is a plus, it's also a drawback. The price feels a bit steep for the amount you get... Tingling Sensation: When I first applied it, I felt a slight tingling on my nose. It does subside over time, but it's worth noting. Post-Makeup Application: The back of the case suggests reapplying frequently, but it's not really practical once you've put on makeup, which is a bit disappointing. Despite these minor issues, the product is so good that I'm considering repurchasing! The Beet The Sun is truly awesome!

When my skin is sensitive due to atopic dermatitis, I sometimes can't apply sunscreen because it causes a burning sensation. Currently, my philtrum area is very dry and sensitive, so I applied this with mixed feelings. Surprisingly, there was no burning sensation. It seems to be a very gentle sunscreen. I mainly used Hygge and Etude House Soon Jung sunscreens before, but especially when not wearing makeup, the Soon Jung sunscreen left a severe white cast that took time to blend in naturally. Veet The Sun doesn't have this white cast issue, so there's no such worry. Also, its liquid texture makes it very easy to apply. I use a brush to apply sunscreen, and this one applies easily with a brush. I haven't tried wearing makeup over this sunscreen yet, so I'll update the review after I do. - 6/22 When applying foundation over this sunscreen, there's no pilling. Even though I use a matte foundation, my face doesn't feel tight, probably because the sunscreen has some oil content. I think this sunscreen would be great for people with dry skin who use matte foundations in summer, as it might reduce the feeling of dryness.
ConsSo far, I haven't found any downsides. If I notice any after using it for a few more days, I'll update my review. When my face is severely broken out, it stings slightly. Other than that, I'm using it well.
TipI really dislike getting sunscreen on my hands, so I often use a brush to apply it. That's why I prefer sunscreens with a more liquid-like texture. The texture of this one is between a cream and a liquid, so it doesn't run down your face when applied, but it's easy to apply with a brush, which I love. It seems to work particularly well with matte foundations. Personally, I found it less drying, which I really appreciate!

It spreads like an emulsion and doesn't feel heavy on the skin.
ConsAs someone with super sensitive skin, I tried this product for a few months due to its good reviews, but I can't recommend it. Initially, it seemed fine, but suddenly my face would heat up, feel tingling, and turn red when using only this product. While I liked how smoothly it applied like an emulsion, it actually made my skin more sensitive with continued use. I'm back to being a sunscreen nomad again.
TipI don't have any specific tips. Just make sure to apply it evenly every two hours.

Easy to carry and pleasant to use (though slightly sticky, which is expected for sunscreen). Can be reapplied multiple times without feeling heavy. No white cast (naturally, as it's a chemical sunscreen). Little to no eye irritation (while individual experiences may vary, it's noticeably less irritating than other products I've tried).
ConsWith the pre-renewal version, I had a few incidents where the container burst open under slight pressure, leaving my pouch 'sun-protected'. However, I hear they've improved this issue recently! As someone who's had surgery and is sensitive to heat, I occasionally experienced a slight tingling sensation when exposed to intense sunlight, despite it being a mineral sunscreen. But for everyday use in the city, it's perfectly fine. It would be great if it were available for purchase in physical stores too.

ConsCould it be because of the alcohol content? Ethanol is listed way too high up in the ingredients list... There's even more ethanol than UV-blocking ingredients. It stung as soon as I applied it, so I washed it off immediately. It might be fine for very healthy skin, but those with a compromised skin barrier or lacking oil and moisture balance should probably avoid it. It seems they added alcohol to quickly dry out the excessive stickiness from too much hydration, but I think it would have been better to balance it with mineral sunscreen ingredients instead. Maybe they didn't due to white cast issues. But still, why use alcohol that isn't even good for the skin? For reference, I use other organic and mineral sunscreens without any problems.

I appreciated that it didn't contain aromatic oils, which often don't agree with my skin. Despite having no artificial fragrances, it didn't have an unpleasant scent. There weren't any significant drawbacks, so I think it's a solid, reliable option for everyday use.
ConsWhile it absorbs nicely and feels good on the skin, the alcohol content is a bit high. On days when my skin is super sensitive, I noticed a slight tingling sensation when applying it.

When applying makeup, a rich sunscreen like this works really well.
ConsCould it be the alcohol? My face feels a tingling sensation. It was so irritating that I had to stop using it, and now I don't use it at all.
TipWell, I'm not sure...
