It seems to absorb well and gives a dewy finish.
ConsIt's quite oily and runny. I've been using it for a while, and it seems the longer I keep it, the oilier it gets. It leaves a very greasy finish, and it stings if it gets into your eyes.

While I sometimes use other mineral sunscreens for quick outings without makeup, Beat The Sun absorbs well when I'm doing my full face. It doesn't cause my foundation to separate or experience pilling, so I've been using it consistently.
ConsThe only downside might be the small amount? For me, it's sufficient since I don't wear makeup often, but if you apply makeup daily, you might go through it quickly.

I discovered Krave Beauty earlier this year when my skin was acting up, and I've tried almost all of their products. This one has been a constant in my routine, and I recommend it to everyone around me! Even my younger brother, who's in high school, uses it regularly. The texture is like a refreshing gel that absorbs well. You feel the hydration immediately after application, and I highly recommend it for those who dislike the greasy feeling of some sunscreens. It might feel a bit rich for oily skin types, but it's not the kind of oiliness that sits on top of the skin! For me, it's comfortable even with multiple layers and never feels heavy. It stays moisturizing for a long time but finishes with a fresh feel, which is why I bought it for my high school brother too. Even he, who rarely remembers to apply sun protection, uses this diligently - that's how great the texture is! There's absolutely no stinging or irritation on the face. It provides hydration and moisture like an emulsion, so on days when I don't want to layer too many products, I skip cream and apply this two or three times instead. I saw Liah Yoo mention in a video that it's good to use before makeup, but I think that depends on your skin type and preferred base products. If you like moisturizing base products, I highly recommend this! Personally, I didn't find it exceptionally compatible with makeup, but it doesn't pill or break down quickly either! As a bonus, the packaging is really convenient! The flat shape makes it easy to carry around, and the squeezable material allows for easy control of the amount used.
ConsThe limited availability and lack of sales might be drawbacks? But I don't think the price point is terribly unreasonable. It's a shame there's a purchase limit because I'd love to stock up on multiple bottles at once.
TipOn days when you want to keep your skincare routine simple, you can apply this two or three times after your serum for a comfortable finish without any tightness!

Texture and absorption: It absorbs quickly like a basic skincare product and doesn't sit on the skin! I've always disliked the feeling of sunscreen sitting on top of my skin, but this product absorbs quickly just like an emulsion-type moisturizer. It doesn't leave a residue on the skin. This seems to be the product's biggest advantage. After application, it doesn't feel heavy at all, and it's really lightweight and not sticky. 2. No pilling when applying makeup over the sunscreen This is probably related to the texture, but because it's so lightweight and absorbs well, when I apply cushion foundation over it, there's no pilling or heavy feeling at all. 3. Packaging The container is sturdy and slim, making it perfect for carrying around!!! The design is especially appealing to my taste..!
ConsThere wasn't a single disappointing aspect!!!!!!!!!

It quickly sinks into the skin, leaving it hydrated. The adherence is great, making it a decent choice as a base product.
ConsAs time passes, it mixes with skin oils, resulting in a slightly greasy appearance.

It has just the right amount of richness, making my makeup look flawless! I have super sensitive skin, but this didn't irritate my eyes at all. It's honestly the best sunscreen I've tried so far!
ConsThe only downside is that it's a bit pricey for the amount you get. Other than that, no complaints!

The lightweight sunscreen formula is incredibly hydrating with excellent absorption. It feels like applying a moisturizing toner, leaving my skin feeling fresh, dewy, and clean. This product truly excels in texture, application, and finish. It addresses all the drawbacks I've experienced with other sunscreens. There was no eye irritation, and it's fragrance-free. The packaging allows for easy dispensing control. It doesn't interfere with makeup application at all, making it perfect for daily use. This seems like a universally appealing product suitable for all ages and skin types. I'll definitely repurchase!
ConsThere's nothing particularly disappointing about this product! If I had to nitpick, I'd say that due to its fluid consistency and smaller size, it might run out quickly.
TipThis is a great sunscreen that works well year-round, regardless of the season.

Excellent absorption and finish It applies like a water essence - incredibly soft and hydrating. It absorbs quickly without any stickiness or heaviness, and within about 30 seconds, it settles into a fresh, neat finish. It would likely feel comfortable even when applied to the body in summer. Unlike the subtle thickness or slightly heavy finish typical of most sunscreens, this one feels very comfortable and gentle on the skin, making it perfect for daily use. It worked great even on my skin, which is prone to blemishes, dead skin cells, and deep dryness, without causing any issues. 2. Gentle moisturizing sunscreen I'm usually cautious about changing skincare products due to easily clogged pores and sensitive skin, and sunscreens are no exception. However, Beat The Sun felt more hydrating than oily, and it actually produced less sebum compared to other moisturizing sunscreens. As a result, there was much less oil buildup in the afternoon, and my pores remained clear! It didn't cause any blemishes, skin redness, or irritation. Of course, there was no eye stinging or dryness either. Moreover, its very hydrating texture helps makeup adhere better when applied before foundation, improving overall staying power. Plus, there's no white cast, so it's like applying a hydrating primer. 3. Highly portable At 50ml, it's average-sized for a sunscreen, but surprisingly lightweight. While other sunscreens of the same volume aren't necessarily heavy, this one is exceptionally light and fits perfectly in one hand, making it ideal for carrying in a pouch. The small cap design also suggests it won't easily open or leak, making it highly recommended for travel. (As a side note, the product's nozzle is smaller than other sunscreens, making it easier to control the amount. If you prefer to squeeze out a lot at once, you might find it slightly inconvenient.) 4. Effective sun protection You might think, "Of course sun protection is a benefit for sunscreen," but some products are ineffective despite being sunscreens, leading to sunburns and reddening of blemish scars and dark spots. However, Beat The Sun, despite its incredibly light feel, noticeably protects the skin, which made me even more satisfied. Thanks to its moisturizing and light finish, it's easy to reapply, so you're less likely to worry about getting sunburned.
ConsI'm so satisfied with this product overall that the drawbacks I've listed below are barely drawbacks at all (I really had to stretch to find any). I fully intend to purchase this with my own money once I run out! 1. Limited accessibility The main drawback is that as an online brand, you can't test it before buying. For those with super sensitive skin like me, having the opportunity to test or sample a product before purchase would increase trust in the product and brand, as well as the desire to buy. While exploring the website after using Beat The Sun, I was really impressed by the brand's beliefs and healthy mindset. That's why I think it would be great if Krave Beauty products were also available in offline shops. 2. Not recommended for extremely oily skin As someone with combination dehydrated skin prone to deep dryness, I was very satisfied with this product's moisture-rich finish and hydrating effect on the skin (I also prefer a glowy base makeup). However, for those with extremely oily skin who prefer a matte finish or a 'barely there' fresh feel, this product might feel a bit heavy. I'd recommend these individuals try it in winter. Conversely, for those with dry skin, applying Beat The Sun before a matte foundation will help the makeup adhere better. This product has clear pros and cons! 3. High price point for student consumers Given its excellent performance, the price of 20,000 won doesn't feel too expensive for me (I'm a working adult). However, student consumers might find this price a bit steep. Additionally, it seems there aren't many opportunities for discounts on the official website, which could make it even more challenging. Of course, price perception varies greatly from person to person.

It's not a thick cream texture, but more like a thin emulsion. It reminds me of the Physiogel emulsion texture. It sinks in quickly without leaving any residue on the skin! There's no white cast, and it absorbs like it's part of your skincare routine. If you're concerned about pores or whiteheads on your nose, you might like a product with this kind of absorption. It's quite hydrating, so even those with oily skin who don't want shine can use it well. There's a slight rich feeling, so those with very oily skin might find it a bit greasy - especially in summer. ♥️Blemishes I have combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive. I patch tested it on my neck the night before, then used it from the next day, and it didn't cause any blemishes! ♥️Scent There's a slight alcohol scent, but it's not overpowering or bothersome, so it should be fine for most people. ♥️Glow While it doesn't give an intense shine, it does provide a subtle Inner Glow! If you love a dewy look like me, you'll probably enjoy this! If you're not a fan of shine, you might want to follow up with a slightly powdery, matte finish.
ConsGiven the texture, you might end up using more product compared to thicker creams, so the small container might run out quickly! I'm quite sensitive to eye irritation, and I did feel a slight tingling around my eyes. If you have sensitive skin, you might experience the same, unfortunately.
