I have dry skin and even though mineral sunscreens or hybrid formulas are supposed to be good, they give me blemishes. Even the organic sunscreens that are highly recommended cause blemishes. My eyes are sensitive, so I just avoid applying it near them. Mineral sunscreens cause blemishes, hybrids cause blemishes and irritate my eyes. With organic sunscreens, I just don't apply near my eyes due to sensitivity. As long as it doesn't dry out my skin or cause blemishes, I'm satisfied.
ConsIt's expensive and doesn't even qualify for free shipping when you buy one. Can't test it offline, and there are no samples available. It doesn't cause blemishes, but... Looks like it's been discontinued though.

It's free from harmful ingredients and has zero white cast! I wish it came in a larger size...
ConsThere's a slight shimmer, but it's so subtle that a gentle dab with a tissue makes it disappear instantly.

Highly recommended for dry skin and deep dryness.
ConsThe biggest issue is... it stings my eyes. It doesn't sting immediately, but after some time passes, it somehow gets into my eyes and then causes a burning sensation.

It's especially great when your face is dry in winter. It's an emulsion type with no white cast!
ConsWith frequent use, you might notice a bit of sunscreen residue around the cap...
TipGive it a little shake before each use to ensure the oil is well-mixed and doesn't come out separately!

There's absolutely no greasiness, it's not drying, and I find myself reaching for it often.
ConsIt's a few dollars more expensive than drugstore products, but considering the ingredients, it's worth buying.

I usually make an effort to use gentle products for my skincare and cleansing routine. Even though I've only used mild sunscreens before, I still experienced eye irritation and couldn't use them for long. However, this sunscreen doesn't irritate my eyes, has no white cast, and has an emulsion-like texture that's perfect for daily use.
ConsFrom the photos, I thought it wasn't a tube but a cylindrical container, so I expected it to last longer. However, the amount is smaller than I anticipated. It seems like you get less product for the price.
TipIt's not exactly a pro tip, but it works well for daily use when applied right after your toner and emulsion. Despite its lightweight texture, it absorbs quickly, doesn't dry out the skin, and leaves it comfortably moisturized.

I'm a woman in my 20s with dry skin! I won this in a review event and have been using it for about 3 weeks. As someone with dry skin lacking both oil and moisture, I always struggled to find the right sunscreen. Winning this in the event was a great opportunity! It's as light as an essence and absorbs incredibly well! If you have very dry skin and prefer hydrating products, you'll absolutely love this. As someone with dry skin, I like this product so much that I'm considering purchasing it!
ConsWhile I loved how rich it felt, I noticed that when I applied makeup over it, it seemed to break down slightly as time passed.
TipIt's perfect for when you want to go out with just sunscreen on! It's not heavy, absorbs well, and is simply fantastic.

Excellent absorption and finish It applies like a water essence - incredibly soft and hydrating. It absorbs quickly without any stickiness or heaviness, and within about 30 seconds, it settles into a fresh, neat finish. It would likely feel comfortable even when applied to the body in summer. Unlike the subtle thickness or slightly heavy finish typical of most sunscreens, this one feels very comfortable and gentle on the skin, making it perfect for daily use. It worked great even on my skin, which is prone to blemishes, dead skin cells, and deep dryness, without causing any issues. 2. Gentle moisturizing sunscreen I'm usually cautious about changing skincare products due to easily clogged pores and sensitive skin, and sunscreens are no exception. However, Beat The Sun felt more hydrating than oily, and it actually produced less sebum compared to other moisturizing sunscreens. As a result, there was much less oil buildup in the afternoon, and my pores remained clear! It didn't cause any blemishes, skin redness, or irritation. Of course, there was no eye stinging or dryness either. Moreover, its very hydrating texture helps makeup adhere better when applied before foundation, improving overall staying power. Plus, there's no white cast, so it's like applying a hydrating primer. 3. Highly portable At 50ml, it's average-sized for a sunscreen, but surprisingly lightweight. While other sunscreens of the same volume aren't necessarily heavy, this one is exceptionally light and fits perfectly in one hand, making it ideal for carrying in a pouch. The small cap design also suggests it won't easily open or leak, making it highly recommended for travel. (As a side note, the product's nozzle is smaller than other sunscreens, making it easier to control the amount. If you prefer to squeeze out a lot at once, you might find it slightly inconvenient.) 4. Effective sun protection You might think, "Of course sun protection is a benefit for sunscreen," but some products are ineffective despite being sunscreens, leading to sunburns and reddening of blemish scars and dark spots. However, Beat The Sun, despite its incredibly light feel, noticeably protects the skin, which made me even more satisfied. Thanks to its moisturizing and light finish, it's easy to reapply, so you're less likely to worry about getting sunburned.
ConsI'm so satisfied with this product overall that the drawbacks I've listed below are barely drawbacks at all (I really had to stretch to find any). I fully intend to purchase this with my own money once I run out! 1. Limited accessibility The main drawback is that as an online brand, you can't test it before buying. For those with super sensitive skin like me, having the opportunity to test or sample a product before purchase would increase trust in the product and brand, as well as the desire to buy. While exploring the website after using Beat The Sun, I was really impressed by the brand's beliefs and healthy mindset. That's why I think it would be great if Krave Beauty products were also available in offline shops. 2. Not recommended for extremely oily skin As someone with combination dehydrated skin prone to deep dryness, I was very satisfied with this product's moisture-rich finish and hydrating effect on the skin (I also prefer a glowy base makeup). However, for those with extremely oily skin who prefer a matte finish or a 'barely there' fresh feel, this product might feel a bit heavy. I'd recommend these individuals try it in winter. Conversely, for those with dry skin, applying Beat The Sun before a matte foundation will help the makeup adhere better. This product has clear pros and cons! 3. High price point for student consumers Given its excellent performance, the price of 20,000 won doesn't feel too expensive for me (I'm a working adult). However, student consumers might find this price a bit steep. Additionally, it seems there aren't many opportunities for discounts on the official website, which could make it even more challenging. Of course, price perception varies greatly from person to person.

The biggest advantage of this product seems to be how lightly it absorbs. It's adequately hydrating, yet applies like a lightweight emulsion without feeling heavy. That's why it feels like such an approachable and easy-to-use sunscreen. Another plus is that it's a mineral sunscreen, so it doesn't leave a white cast and doesn't dry out the skin.
ConsWhile there aren't any specific downsides, I would recommend a different product for those looking for something that evens skin tone.

Absorbs well Unlike mineral sunscreens that can feel heavy, this organic sunscreen applies smoothly. As I've gotten older, my skin (except for the T-zone) has become drier with more dead skin cells. Compared to the mineral sunscreen I'm currently using, this organic one feels more hydrating and absorbs well. 2. Portability Nowadays, I'm going foundation-free due to mask-wearing. I only apply sunscreen before putting on my mask, so having a small, portable size is perfect.
Cons1. Eye irritation My eyes stung terribly all day long. It was unbearable! 2. Excessive oiliness led to blemishes My combination dehydrated skin (oily on the surface but dry underneath) became extremely greasy. The moisturizing organic sunscreen, combined with my natural oils, left me constantly blotting. The excess oil seemed to clog my pores, resulting in 5 new blemishes after just 8 hours of wear. 3. Scent The fragrance is hard to describe. It just makes me want to wash my face immediately. 4. Lack of tone-up effect Since I'm not wearing foundation these days, I prefer sunscreens with a slight white cast for a brightening effect. However, this organic sunscreen doesn't provide any tone-up at all.
TipI'd recommend this to those with healthy (non-sensitive) skin that can tolerate organic sunscreens. It's ideal for those who prefer a lightweight sunscreen without a heavy feeling.
