It seems to absorb well and gives a dewy finish.
ConsIt's quite oily and runny. I've been using it for a while, and it seems the longer I keep it, the oilier it gets. It leaves a very greasy finish, and it stings if it gets into your eyes.

But I'd recommend this to those looking for a moisturizing sunscreen. I ordered it almost on the release date after watching Lia Yu's YouTube video.
ConsIt's too rich for me. I don't like a shiny complexion, so this doesn't suit me.

It seems great as a base before foundation.
ConsSunscreen needs to be applied thickly to be effective. Layering it multiple times makes your face super shiny like grease and feels extremely tight. I wouldn't recommend using this sunscreen alone without makeup.

It feels like adding an extra step to your skincare routine!
ConsThe oil layer can sometimes separate, so you need to shake it well before use.

It quickly sinks into the skin, leaving it hydrated. The adherence is great, making it a decent choice as a base product.
ConsAs time passes, it mixes with skin oils, resulting in a slightly greasy appearance.

I didn't experience any blemishes after using it.
ConsAlthough I tend to apply sunscreen generously, it still looks quite shiny. Also, after some time, I feel a slight stinging sensation in my eyes.
TipI recommend this for those who aren't sensitive to eye irritation. If you're prone to eye sensitivity, you might want to look for a different sunscreen.

I'm a woman in my 20s with dry skin! I won this in a review event and have been using it for about 3 weeks. As someone with dry skin lacking both oil and moisture, I always struggled to find the right sunscreen. Winning this in the event was a great opportunity! It's as light as an essence and absorbs incredibly well! If you have very dry skin and prefer hydrating products, you'll absolutely love this. As someone with dry skin, I like this product so much that I'm considering purchasing it!
ConsWhile I loved how rich it felt, I noticed that when I applied makeup over it, it seemed to break down slightly as time passed.
TipIt's perfect for when you want to go out with just sunscreen on! It's not heavy, absorbs well, and is simply fantastic.

The review is completely unbiased and honest, with no guidelines or restrictions. Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsAs a member of The Hwahae Testers, I've been using this product for about 10 days, and here's my review. My skin type is sensitive, with some atopic dermatitis on my cheeks and prone to blemishes on my forehead, especially due to mask-wearing lately. Currently, my skin is mostly clear with almost no blemishes and the atopic dermatitis has subsided. I also tan very easily. First, let's talk about the design. It's visually appealing, with packaging so pretty you almost don't want to open it. The plastic container is travel-friendly - no worries about leaks if it gets squeezed. When standing upright, the cap prevents spills, making it hygienic. The small opening makes it easy to control the amount dispensed. Second, the texture. It's more of an emulsion than a thick cream. It spreads easily, allowing you to cover your entire face with just a small amount. (Remember, you should still use the recommended two-finger length!) After application, my skin feels moisturized, firm, and fresh without being too sticky. It's great under makeup too - doesn't make it look cakey and helps it adhere well. Third, there's no white cast at all! There's absolutely no change in complexion before and after application. (This might be a downside for some people.) Fourth, it's easy to cleanse. Unlike many sunscreens that can be hard to remove and cause blemishes, this one comes off easily with just a regular cleansing foam. Fifth, it rarely causes blemishes. I often react to sunscreens, but this one caused almost no issues! (I say 'almost' because I did experience some minor breakouts, but this could be due to other factors. I'll update my review if I notice anything definitive with continued use!) Update 6/24/2020: I should mention that it can cause some minor blemishes. It might be suitable for dry skin types even in summer. However, if you have oily skin, you might want to avoid it in summer. This seems more related to the season (sweat and excess oil) than the product itself. I noticed blemishes on my oily areas (forehead and sides of nose) but not on my drier, atopic areas. Lastly, sun protection. During the test period, I applied the recommended amount once in the morning, then applied makeup and spent about 2 hours in direct sunlight daily. While my arms and legs (without sunscreen) tanned, my face showed little change in tone. Please note that results may vary depending on individual use and my testing period was short. Overall, it's a great product with a few considerations to keep in mind depending on your skin type and the season.
ConsWhile I found it fine, those with oily skin might find it too greasy and potentially causing blemishes. Even for those without particularly oily skin, using a moisturizing foundation on top might lead to makeup breakdown, especially around the nose area. It might be a bit heavy for summer use. Also, as mentioned earlier, if you're looking for a sunscreen with a white cast, this isn't it - there's absolutely no white cast. Some sensitive individuals reported eye irritation, though I didn't experience this. One drawback of the product itself is the small size - it fits comfortably in one hand, which might be disappointing for some. These are the main issues I've noticed so far, but I'll update if I find any others!
TipAfter applying the sunscreen or right after putting on makeup, lightly dusting some powder can significantly reduce shine (not just immediately, but throughout the day compared to not using powder). With powder, your makeup won't get greasy or break down unattractively. Spending about 5 minutes on touch-ups twice a day can keep your makeup looking fresh all day. I highly recommend using powder, especially in summer!

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsThis is a review from The Hwahae Testers. I have oily skin. First, when I look at cosmetics, the most important thing for me is the ingredients, and I think the ingredients are the biggest advantage of this product! Lately, beets have been trending as a healthy food, and it's a plus that this product contains beet extract. Also, this product doesn't leave a white cast! It seems to suit my 50-year-old mom with normal skin better than my oily skin. For my mom, it was a good product with the right balance of hydration and richness. In the second photo, you might think I applied too much at once, but I've heard that sunscreen needs to be applied generously to be effective. Also, I usually blot with a tissue after applying, so I showed you both immediately after application and after blotting to demonstrate my usual method.
ConsFor me, it was too rich, so after applying generously, I had to blot with a tissue to absorb the excess oil before applying makeup. Even then, it was still too oily for me, causing my makeup to slide off quickly and look cakey.
TipI think it works well if you apply it generously and then blot with a tissue or oil blotting paper to remove excess oil. This helps prevent the makeup from separating and looking cakey.
