  Writing this review after finishing the entire bottle I was using this when my skin barrier was compromised and sensitive, but it was gentler than I expected! No irritation, no blemishes, and it left my skin feeling clean after cleansing - all of which I loved I initially used it only for my second cleanse, but tried it in the morning too and it works well as a morning cleanser It lathers well and leaves no residue after rinsing

  Some might find the scent a bit strong, but since you're washing it off anyway, it shouldn't be a big issue

  Tip

  When my skin is super sensitive, I use a foam maker to create lather It's less irritating than lathering with your hands!

  I have combination dehydrated skin that's prone to blemishes. I've been using this product for almost 8 years, and it's the most reliable match for my skin. It doesn't cause any blemishes, cleanses gently yet effectively! Whenever I've tried other products, I always end up with skin issues.

  Cons

  For dry skin types, it might definitely cause deep dryness. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, it's okay if I apply skincare immediately after cleansing, but if I delay even a little, my skin feels tight.

  I must have used about 5 bottles of this. Among all the cleansing gels I've tried, this one didn't cause any blemishes on my face.

  Pros

  A small amount produces rich lather and has great cleansing effectiveness, so you can thoroughly clean with just a little. During the roughly 3-month usage period, I definitely didn't experience more blemishes, and the subtle fragrance was pleasant without being off-putting to me.

  Cons

  While using it, I didn't see improvement in redness or acne, but if the ingredients were better and the price was a bit more reasonable, it would have been an even better product.

  Tip

  It's effective enough for cleansing on its own. Rather than just this one, it was a perfect combination with the emulsion duo. Be sure to try a tester from the official website and use the one that suits you best.

  This product was recommended to me by my dermatologist when I was struggling with severe blemishes and my skin was a mess! I've lost count of how many I've bought. I only use this and the foaming cream cleanser! It's a product I trust completely. I have combination dehydrated, sensitive, and blemish-prone skin, but this never causes breakouts. It has rich lather, and being a gel type, it's gentle and non-irritating. It's a bit pricey, but when you catch it on sale, it's unbeatable! It's excellent for oily, blemish-prone skin. I've seen it calm my skin so much! The entire Effaclar line seems great for troubled skin. I highly recommend this as a cleanser!

  If I had to find a flaw, it might be that it's almost too gentle? It's so soft that you might wonder if it's actually cleaning your skin. But apart from that, everything else is great!

  I bought this after watching a dermatologist's YouTube video, and I've been using it consistently. No more blemishes! As someone with combination dehydrated skin prone to acne, other low pH cleansers didn't work for me and always caused breakouts. But this one suits me perfectly without causing any issues! It lathers well even with a small amount of water, and there's no deep dryness after cleansing, which is great.

  Cons

  Being a low pH gel, its cleansing effectiveness is lower, so on days when I wear makeup, I use a different cleansing foam. Also, there's a product sticker with Korean instructions that gets all wrinkly when wet, making it inconvenient to use.

  Tip

  It might be better to remove the sticker before use. When it gets wet, the sticker swells up, starts peeling off, and becomes unsightly.

  I have acne-prone, sensitive skin, and this cleanser's low pH seems to be the reason it doesn't lather much. However, it effectively controls excess oil, which has helped reduce my blemishes.
