  It cleanses with an incredibly gentle touch. You can really feel how mild it is on the skin.

  It's decent for morning cleansing, but having to use different cleansers for morning and evening is a hassle, so what could be an advantage isn't really one.

  The cleansing effectiveness is weak, or at least it feels that way. Deep cleansing foams leave your skin squeaky clean, but with this one, I'm not sure if I've washed properly. It's not enough for days when you wear makeup, but it works well for morning cleansing.

  The texture is light and refreshing, not heavy at all. I love that my face doesn't feel extremely tight after cleansing. Other low pH products I've tried didn't lather well and were difficult to use gently, but this one creates rich foam, making it feel like it cleanses softly.

If you're concerned about the ingredients, there's a similar Eucerin version with a gentler formula that might be a better option.

  Even with sensitive skin prone to redness and blemishes, this product can be used without irritation. After use, it leaves the skin feeling moisturized without any dryness.

  Cons

  It doesn't produce much foam, so those who shave using only cleanser without shaving gel will need to use a separate shaving gel. While the cleansing effectiveness isn't bad, there's a lingering slippery feeling after washing. For those who prefer a squeaky clean feel, I recommend Toleriane.

  Tip

  When applying sunscreen or when I want a thorough, refreshing cleanse, I use Toleriane. For morning or quick cleansing, I use Effaclar. I love that both are gentle on the skin.
