  I love this cleansing foam because it thoroughly cleanses without damaging the skin barrier. Being slightly acidic, it doesn't leave my skin feeling tight after washing, which I absolutely adore. I highly recommend it for oily or blemish-prone skin! While the foam isn't super rich, it feels gentle enough not to irritate the skin, and after rinsing, my skin texture feels more refined. It's also nearly fragrance-free, so I'd recommend it to those with fragrance sensitivities too!

  So far, I've been using it without any issues. However, when my skin is feeling super sensitive, it can cause a bit of irritation. It's best to avoid it during those times.

  Tip

  It doesn't remove full makeup very well. For makeup removal, I'd suggest using a different cleanser.

  Writing this review after finishing the entire bottle I was using this when my skin barrier was compromised and sensitive, but it was gentler than I expected! No irritation, no blemishes, and it left my skin feeling clean after cleansing - all of which I loved I initially used it only for my second cleanse, but tried it in the morning too and it works well as a morning cleanser It lathers well and leaves no residue after rinsing

  Some might find the scent a bit strong, but since you're washing it off anyway, it shouldn't be a big issue

  When my skin is super sensitive, I use a foam maker to create lather It's less irritating than lathering with your hands!

Cleansing effectiveness: Effectively removes sebum and makeup residue, demonstrating excellent cleansing power. It seems particularly suitable for oily or blemish-prone skin. Hydration: There's slight tightness after cleansing, but it doesn't cause excessive dryness. It's best to follow up with a toner or moisturizer immediately after cleansing. Skin reaction: During the two-week use, my skin remained smooth without any blemishes. I noticed cleaner pores and reduced sebum production.

  I've been using this product for almost a decade, since 2015! My skin is thin and prone to deep dryness. I thought I had dry skin, but it would get oily when I applied makeup. Around 2015, I had quite a bit of acne, but it turns out I actually had oily skin. Now, I rarely get blemishes, maybe just the occasional pimple or small bump. Since my skin is thin, it's also sensitive, so I can't use harsh products. I first discovered this through my dermatologist when I was being treated for acne, and I've trusted it ever since! It has great cleansing effectiveness and doesn't cause irritation, so I use it consistently. La Roche-Posay has a specific acne line, but since I have thin, sensitive skin prone to deep dryness, I actually prefer not to use the acne line. I especially love the texture of this product! Unlike opaque white cleansers or those with exfoliating particles for cleansing, which can be irritating and leave my skin feeling tight after washing, this product is truly gentle and non-irritating. I love that it's a clear gel formula!

  Cons

  There's nothing I dislike about it! That's why I've been consistently reaching for this product for a decade!

  Tip

  I use La Roche-Posay cleansing water for my first cleanse, followed by this product for my second cleanse! Occasionally, when I wear mascara (especially Etude House mascaras, which seem to be stubborn with any remover), I'll do a gentle third cleanse with this product, working it into a lather.

  It's gentle on the skin, seems to improve skin texture and somewhat exfoliate dead skin cells, while cleansing effectively. My skin is extremely sensitive and acne-prone, so I usually break out immediately if a product doesn't suit me, but with this one, I felt like my blemishes were actually disappearing as I used it.

  There's a bit of deep dryness after use, so I found that applying a toner or hydrating product right after cleansing helps prevent my skin from feeling dry.

  Gentle enough for sensitive skin with no irritation. I've been using the large size (400ml) for a year now. Seems to offer great value for money.

  Cons

  Nothing particularly bad, but the restocking is disappointing. I wouldn't recommend it for extremely dry skin types.

  It seems to sell out frequently, so I'd suggest buying the large size to last you for a year or so.
