ConsI can't recommend this product. Perhaps due to its thick consistency, it severely clogs my pores and leads to frequent blackhead formation

There weren't many positives to highlight, unfortunately. If I had to pick one, it would be the rich hydration? But since it caused blemishes...
ConsI had to stop using it after just two days because of breakouts. While applying, I didn't think the rich texture was excessive, but after application, it felt like oil was rising to the surface, clogging my pores. Sure enough, I experienced a explosion of whiteheads and acne slowly creeping up... I was quite surprised when I checked the ingredients on Hwahae. Despite being called a cica cream, it doesn't actually contain much cica. It seems inadequate to be labeled as a cica cream. As for the price... I think it's typical of department store brands charging more for their name than their product.

It's a bit like ivy candy? Or maybe fresh bread... It's not an artificial fragrance, so it felt gentle when applying. The texture was just right - not too thick or too runny, which I really loved. It also absorbs well.
ConsI think I have combination dehydrated skin. While using this didn't cause any major blemishes or skin reactions, I noticed an increase in small bumps. I didn't realize it while using, but when I came to write this review and checked the ingredients, I saw there are many pore-clogging components... I guess applying it generously to help heal popped pimples didn't help either. Those with super sensitive skin or oily skin types might want to avoid this.
TipFor those without sensitive skin, it might be good to apply small amounts to specific areas.

I've been struggling with this skin type. In conclusion, this cream works incredibly well for me! It makes my skin firm and effectively tackles dryness. <Texture> When first squeezed out, it looks like a burn ointment. It seems like it might feel a bit grainy? <Application> At first, it feels a bit thick when applying, but as you spread it, it goes on smoothly! Other creams sometimes drag and irritate my face, but this one doesn't, which I love. <Hydration> The hydration level itself is average, but it lasts for a long time. After applying, it leaves my skin moisturized with a glow. Above all! It works wonderfully under foundation!! I didn't expect this effect from a soothing cream, but it seems to function as an effective moisturizer too! However, it is quite rich. But for me, as my skin tends to lose both oil and moisture in dry weather, this level of richness was just right. <Scent> It's almost unscented! Personally, I liked that it had almost no fragrance. <Soothing effect> It definitely calms redness! When I sleep with this on after wearing makeup for a long time, my irritated skin looks much better in the morning. My mother, who has extremely dry skin, also used it and told me today, "That thing you received is really good!" haha. I strongly recommend this to people with dry skin. 10/21 ~~ I'm still using it well. During the testing period, I couldn't evaluate its effectiveness on blemishes as I didn't have any major ones, but recently a big pimple appeared! It was an itchy one, but after applying this and sleeping, it significantly reduced in size. I think this product is really good. My mother, who uses it with me, is completely satisfied and continues to use it.
ConsI don't recommend this for people with oily skin. It's quite a rich cream, so if you apply it incorrectly, you might suffer from oil overload and clogged pores. If there's one downside, it doesn't seem to have the ability to reduce small bumps. However, I'm satisfied with just its redness-calming effect.
TipIf you apply a small amount to areas prone to foundation caking before applying makeup, it prevents the foundation from flaking! On days when your face feels hot, if you apply it generously before bed, you'll wake up to smooth skin (applicable for dry skin types)!

I was thrilled to be selected, but then I noticed it contained stearic acid, which my skin doesn't tolerate well. After using the product for a few days, here's my take: Despite containing three comedogenic ingredients and stearic acid (which usually causes immediate breakouts for me), I gave it a try for the sake of the review. As expected, I developed some blemishes and had to stop using it. However, I passed it on to my mother, who has dry but resilient skin. For her, the main criteria for skincare is hydration and moisture retention. So, here's a detailed review from the perspective of someone with dry skin: Absorption: She says it's excellent. With her dry skin, she often complains about tightness, but this cream is rich and keeps her skin moisturized for a long time. She also notices improved skin elasticity and good lasting power. It keeps her skin hydrated without feeling dry, and the next day her face feels soft and supple. Even after cleansing, the skin retains its moisture. For dry skin, the hydration and nourishment are truly exceptional. While it's rich, it's not overly sticky and applies smoothly. Initially, it feels like a thick ointment, but after patting it in several times, it absorbs beautifully.
ConsNow, here's my perspective as someone with combination dehydrated, sensitive, acne-prone skin with redness - basically, all the skin concerns rolled into one. My mother has incredibly resilient skin and never experiences irritation from skincare products. I, on the other hand, am very sensitive and prone to clogged pores, which quickly lead to blemishes. Personally, I found this cream too heavy, and it felt like it was clogging my pores. After applying, my skin felt itchy and irritated. Soon after, I noticed small blemishes appearing. For me, hydration is more crucial, but this felt overly nourishing. It's tricky to rate, but since my mother loves it so much, I'll give it 3.5 out of 5 stars.

(For dry skin) Absorbs well on face, leaving a slight glow. *Hydration: Initially very satisfying, but doesn't last all day. Great for applying before bed! *Sensitivity: It was fine! I have super sensitive skin, but no redness or blemishes. => Recommended for dry skin! I'm currently using IOPE Derma Repair Cica Cream, and Kiehl's Cica Cream provides the glow that was missing in the IOPE product!!
ConsThe hydration doesn't last as long as expected Contains pore-clogging ingredients, which is concerning
TipMy mom tried it and loved how well it absorbs while still providing a rich feel I'd recommend it as a gift for your mother It would be great for those with dry skin It spreads evenly, leaving the skin soft, so It's perfect to use before applying foundation or before bed
