I use it frequently because it's rich and great for skin regeneration.
ConsUnfortunately, it's been discontinued and can no longer be purchased...

When I used the small sample, I didn't notice much, but now that I've bought it and have been using it diligently every day, I unfortunately don't feel like there's been any significant improvement. As you might expect, it has the typical thick, ointment-like texture and medicinal scent characteristic of regenerating creams. It feels like applying medicine, so if you enjoy that sensation, you might like this product. As I try to think of other positive aspects I've personally experienced, I'm afraid nothing really comes to mind. Although I generally have a favorable impression of the Kiehl's brand as a consumer, I don't plan to repurchase this product.
ConsThis product has an ointment-like consistency. It applies quite thickly, so it's better suited for nighttime use rather than during the day before makeup. The texture itself tends to pill and prevents other products from absorbing properly. When applying, avoid rubbing and instead pat it in for better absorption. If you rub, it will just keep moving around on the surface. Unlike Kiehl's typically pleasant fragrances, this product has a medicinal scent that tends to become more unpleasant over time. This means you need to use it up quickly, but since it's not exactly an inexpensive product, it feels wasteful to end up throwing it away. The scent doesn't dissipate, making it difficult to apply to the face. I ended up using the rest of the jar on my arms and legs just to finish it. After application, your skin feels hot and uncomfortable. I usually apply skincare products generously, but with this one, it makes my skin feel so warm that I can't even apply much of it, despite it being a regenerating cream. My entire face feels so hot that I want to wipe it off, and it even makes me break out in a sweat around my upper lip area. As a result, I can't use it at all during summer. Keep this in mind!
TipI mixed this regenerating cream with a very hydrating moisturizer when applying. This improved the texture and made the cream feel less heavy on my skin.

ConsThose with oily skin, especially those allergic to shea butter, should be careful. I got acne in areas where I've never had it before, and it took a month to subside, leaving dark marks. Be cautious!

When applied before bed, my skin feels great in the morning.
ConsOn the flip side, its thick consistency can feel a bit heavy. It's a bit too much for daytime use, especially when layering makeup and sunscreen on top.

As someone with oily skin, I'm always hesitant to use moisturizing creams due to their rich feel. However, I think this product is suitable even for oily skin types like mine during winter. It has just the right amount of richness, and I really enjoyed applying it thickly to areas that need intensive care. What I appreciated most was that it didn't feel too greasy after application.
ConsThe natural cica scent...? wasn't my style. Whether it's due to Kiehl's brand power or the quality ingredients, the slightly high price is another factor that makes me hesitate about repurchasing.

Kiehl's cica cream is comparatively quite rich in texture. Low irritation: There was absolutely no irritation. When I apply it before bed, I can definitely feel a soothing effect, making it perfect for sensitive dry skin.
ConsWhile the product's effectiveness isn't bad, some additional aspects don't suit my skin well, so I probably won't reach for it often. Absorption: The formula is quite rich and thick with a lot of oil, which makes me hesitant to apply too much. I thought it would be similar to La Roche-Posay balm, but it's extremely rich, making it more suitable for dry skin rather than oily skin. Scent: Like other Kiehl's products, it has a strong medicinal scent that isn't particularly appealing. It might be polarizing. Price: The price is relatively high considering the amount you get.

ConsIt absorbs rather slowly, so I'd recommend using it only at night. Your skin will feel soft until the next morning.

Being a cica cream, I felt it would help with skin regeneration. I loved how it was thick yet didn't leave a too-matte finish. My skin texture even improved by the next morning!
ConsThere wasn't anything I disliked about the product. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the price per volume could be better.

The initial application feels rich, but it quickly becomes moisturizing. It's not just pure hydration, but more like a gentle protective layer... Anyway, it works well for me. I had some blemishes like small bumps, but after using this, my skin seems much clearer. I love that it's moisturizing yet gentle on the skin.
ConsThe price is a bit steep... Also, I preferred the texture of the old Recovery Skin Salve (which was more gel-like).

As a result, I've been a skincare nomad for quite some time, and I must admit that even highly-praised products often don't suit me. Now, about this Kiehl's cream - it comes in a 70ml tube with a thick consistency. When you squeeze it out, it's even more robust than toothpaste, feeling almost like you're applying a potent ointment. As you spread it, it melts into the skin, settling in nicely. A little goes a long way - you can cover your entire face with just a small amount, and it feels like it's deeply replenishing both oil and moisture. For someone on a budget like me, this is incredibly appealing. Fortunately, it didn't cause any breakouts on my face either. I've heard so much about Kiehl's products, but I was hesitant due to the price and the possibility it might not suit me. However, I'm satisfied with this purchase. I also have psoriasis and eczema on my legs, an area that's always dry, itchy, and flaky no matter what I apply. On a whim, I tried this cica cream there. While it couldn't stop the itching completely, I noticed less flaking compared to other products, and my skin seemed more resilient. Since then, although it feels a bit extravagant to use it on areas other than my face, I've been applying small amounts to various parts of my body affected by atopic dermatitis.
ConsThe consistency is extremely rich, which might be overwhelming for daily use. Because of this, it probably won't suit those with oily skin (though personally, I see this as a plus). The price is quite steep, making it feel wasteful to use liberally. Additionally, after intensive use, I noticed small blemishes appearing in several areas. There must be some ingredients that clog the pores. It seems suitable only when my skin is extremely dry, but not during seasons when my skin is naturally more oily.
