The acne I've been struggling with for ten years has completely disappeared... ๐ Incredibly reasonable price ๐ Simple ingredient composition (which divides opinions) ๐ Fragrance-free ๐ Scars are also gradually fading (but not disappearing completely) A lifelong essential... Those suffering from acne, buy it right now! ---------2023.08.15--------- I'm still using it well, and as a former acne expert, I no longer have any acne...(only one or two when I'm lazy with exfoliation). Those struggling with acne... Be sure to use it at least once.
Cons๐ผ The only downside is that there is almost nothing disappointing, and I only found this product after developing acne scars from the breakouts.
Tip๐ท Apply a drop or two on each cheek and wait 15 minutes before applying the product ๐ท Dilute acidic products to avoid irritation when using them ๐ท Don't be greedy! Otherwise, your skin barrier will be compromised ๐ท The effects will start to show after about 2 weeks of consistent use ๐ท Once the acne has subsided to some extent, use it twice a week

ConsRather than a shortcoming, I would recommend that those with sensitive skin should not apply the liquid directly to their face. I mixed it with aloe and it worked well, but recently I applied it on its own and my face became red and it was very painful to wash - I've been struggling with it... ใ ใ When using it, please gradually increase the amount to suit your skin type... ใ ใ I'm wondering how I can restore my skin barrier... If anyone has tips after using acids and experiencing this, please share them with me.
TipDon't be too greedy!

After switching up my entire skincare routine, this was one of the two standout choices that really made a difference. It has helped to visibly improve the appearance of my uneven texture, acne scars, enlarged pores, and oily/blemish-prone complexion. The pesky pimples around my ears and along my hairline have also been cleared up, and those stubborn bumps near my eyes have disappeared as well.
ConsHowever, I do find that I need to leave it on for around 15 minutes or so, as the blackheads and excess oil don't seem to disappear instantly.
TipEspecially during the winter, I like to follow up with this product by first using a toner, then allowing ample time (at least 15 minutes) for it to work, before applying a soothing gel, a ceramide cream, and sunscreen. I tend to do this routine a few times a week.

Since using the mandelic acid, my breakouts have significantly decreased. I think I'll continue using this product going forward.
ConsThere's really nothing bad to say. The oily-like feeling goes away quickly, and the fragrance isn't overly bothersome.
TipApply it and then wait before moving on to the next step of your skincare routine.

I have seen particularly good results for my acne.
ConsThe texture is quite light, like a mild oil, so it may feel a bit heavy if used on its own.
TipWhen mixed with essences, ampoules, or creams, the texture becomes really nice to use.

To list the advantages I've experienced while using it: - No irritation whatsoever - Noticeable effects after just one use - Completely cleared up my acne - Removed blackheads - Leaves my skin feeling moisturized after application True to its reputation as the mildest AHA, there was no stinging, redness, or any such side effects, not even when I applied it to blemished areas. It felt just like applying a regular facial oil at first, making me wonder if it would actually work, but lo and behold, my skin looked visibly different the very next morning. ใ ใ ใ ใ ใ The reviews on The Ordinary's website weren't exaggerating - people really do see results after just one or two uses. From the first day I started using it, my skin felt incredibly smooth to the touch. I was amazed, as I'd never experienced that before! I ended up applying it almost daily, and after 2 weeks, I've had zero irritation and the bumpy, uneven texture on my face has completely smoothed out. I used to have a lot of acne and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, but those have faded noticeably in just 2 weeks of use. I get excited every time I look in the mirror and see the changes in my skin! Even the stubborn blackheads on my T-zone have significantly diminished. Honestly, for the price you're getting 10% mandelic acid plus hyaluronic acid - you really should just go ahead and try it out.
ConsWhile it had dramatic effects on my acne, blackheads, hyperpigmentation, and skin texture, it didn't do much for my hormonal cystic acne. ใ ใ But even so, my skin just looks and feels so much better after using this product!
TipA must-try for anyone dealing with acne, hyperpigmentation, or sensitive skin who wants to use an AHA!

As soon as I started using it, my skin became so much smoother the very next day! It didn't cause any irritation, and using it 2-3 times a week has helped with the blackheads - the products I was using before seem to be absorbing better now, and my skin has really improved. All those stubborn blackheads I've been struggling with for years are finally gone... This low-irritation exfoliator is truly a great product.
ConsI don't have any major issues with this product... The only thing is that since it's an exfoliating product, it's best not to use it with other harsh or drying products. I stopped using it with my brightening products, as I found they were too irritating when used together. The rosehip oil I tried also didn't seem to agree with it - it caused some breakouts.
TipI like to apply this by soaking a cotton pad with toner, then adding a few drops of the Mandelic Acid and gently wiping it over my face. Since my skin is so sensitive, I never apply it directly. After wiping it off, I follow up with a hydrating essence or serum, and then a gentle moisturizer like Physiogel. Using it 1-2 times a week for a couple months has been a game-changer for clearing up my stubborn blackheads and breakouts. If you have acne-prone, dehydrated skin that's transitioning from oily to dry, I'd definitely recommend giving this a try!

I suffered from milia for years, but after finding this product, I've been freed from the shackles of milia~~ Now, I only have some acne scars left, and I'm so happy that no new milia are forming! It's gentler than other acid products and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin at all ^^
ConsIf you apply too much, your skin will become completely dry and cracked the next day after washing, so you need to be very careful with the amount you use!
TipI mix this with another serum (the brand's niacinamide one) and apply them together~ About 3-4 drops of this, the size of a coin, is just perfect!

As the saying goes, "The proof is in the pudding," the gentleness of this mandelic acid serum is thanks to the ingredients it contains: *Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer: a modified form of hyaluronic acid; enhanced hydration *Tasmannia Lanceolata Extract: anti-irritation *Sodium Hydroxide: pH balancer I've tried various exfoliating products - scrubs, peeling gels, retinoids, you name it. But no matter what I used, my skin would always become irritated and red. This product is very different from other exfoliating products. When I use the 10% Mandelic Acid + HA serum on my skin, it doesn't turn red or feel sensitized. The serum feels oily, but this sensation goes away after a few pats on the skin. Just a light patting motion allows the serum to absorb easily into the skin. So this serum is the perfect product for my sensitive skin. Whether it's hormonal acne or clogged pores, using this mandelic acid serum immediately calms my skin down. It also evens out my skin tone and brightens it. This mandelic acid serum is truly a lovely product. If you're looking for the brightening effects of The Ordinary's Niacinamide serum, but without the skin irritation, I think you'll really enjoy this serum.
ConsI can't think of any reason to dislike this Mandelic Acid + HA serum. Thank you to the researchers for creating such an amazing product formula. ^^
