If you're struggling with milia, buy this right now! ---------August 15, 2023--------- I'm still using it well, and as a former pro-milia sufferer, I no longer get milia... (except for one or two when I'm lazy about exfoliating). For those struggling with milia... please give this a try just once
ConsThere's hardly anything to dislike about it, I only wish I had discovered this product before developing blemish scars from milia...
TipApply a drop on each cheek and wait 15 minutes before applying other products Acid-based products can be irritating, so dilute before use Don't be greedy! Otherwise, you might damage your skin barrier You'll see results after about 2 weeks of consistent use Once the milia have subsided somewhat, use only twice a week

I'm really pleased with the results!
ConsRather than a downside, I'd like to caution those with super sensitive skin to never apply the liquid directly to your face. I had been mixing it with aloe with great results, but recently tried using it alone. My face turned red and was so painful when cleansing that I'm still struggling. Please use it gradually, increasing the amount slowly to suit your skin. I'm now worried about how to repair my skin barrier. If anyone has experienced this with acids and has tips to share, I'd be very grateful.
TipDon't get greedy with skincare!

However, when I overhauled my entire skincare routine, choosing this product was one of the two best decisions I made. It's a game-changer for problematic skin with acne scars, enlarged pores, excess sebum, and active blemishes. This little wonder helps tidy up these issues, making your skin look noticeably improved. It's particularly effective in tackling those pesky pimples near the ears and along the hairline at the back of the head. Even those stubborn milia-like bumps around the eyes that were impossible to extract have now disappeared.
ConsHmm, one downside is that you need to leave it on for about 15 minutes after application. Also, it doesn't magically make blackheads and excess sebum vanish instantly.
TipGiven it's winter, here's my routine: After toner, I apply this product and wait patiently (at least 15 minutes). Then I follow up with a soothing gel, a ceramide cream, and sunscreen. I do this about 3-4 times a week.

Despite having sensitive skin, it doesn't cause much irritation. Since I started using mandelic acid, my blemishes have noticeably decreased. I'll likely continue using it in the future.
ConsThere's nothing particularly negative to mention. The slightly oily feeling disappears quickly, and the scent isn't bothersome at all.
TipI apply this product, wait a bit, then move on to the next step in my skincare routine.

It's been particularly effective for my small, bumpy blemishes.
ConsThe texture feels like a very light oil, so if used alone, it might feel slightly heavy on the skin.
TipWhen mixed with essences, ampoules, or creams, the application experience really improves.

No joke, this is hands down the best cosmetic purchase I've ever made!!! Let me list the benefits I've experienced: - Absolutely zero irritation - Noticeable results after just one use - Milia completely vanished - Blackheads removed - Skin feels moisturized after application! As expected from mandelic acid, which is the gentlest AHA, there was no stinging, redness, or any such symptoms. I even applied it to a wound and felt nothing! At first, it felt like I was just applying a moisturizing oil, making me wonder if it would actually work. But no exaggeration, the very next morning my skin was already different. The reviews on The Ordinary's official site weren't lying when they said people saw results after just one or two uses - it's the absolute truth. After the first day, my face felt incredibly smooth to the touch. I thought, 'Wow! I've never felt anything like this before!' I was so amazed that I've been applying it almost daily since then. It's been two weeks now, and there's still zero irritation. My skin's blemishes and rough patches are all disappearing! I used to have quite a bit of acne, leaving behind many dark spots, but even those have noticeably faded after just two weeks of use. Every time I look in the mirror, I'm moved by how my skin is changing. Even the blackheads in my T-zone have significantly reduced. Honestly, at this price point, for a 10% mandelic acid solution with hyaluronic acid... you absolutely must try it, I beg you!
ConsWhile it showed dramatic effects on milia, blackheads, hyperpigmentation, and skin texture improvement, it wasn't very effective on hormonal cystic acne. However, after using this, your overall skin texture looks amazingly good!!
TipA must-have for those struggling with milia! A must-have for those with hyperpigmentation! A must-have for those with sensitive skin who want to try AHAs!

Thinking my dead skin cells might be the culprit, I decided to try the gentle Mandelic Acid. The results were incredible! My skin felt incredibly smooth the very next day after first use! It didn't cause any blemishes, so I've been using it twice a week. Thanks to its exfoliating effect, my serums and creams absorb better, and my skin has improved significantly. All those pesky milia that had been bothering me for years are gone! It's truly an excellent product for gentle exfoliation.
ConsThere's not much to complain about... Well, since it's an exfoliating product, it's best not to use it with other harsh products. When I use this, I avoid brightening products as they can be irritating. I also found that using it with rosehip oil didn't work well for me and caused blemishes.
TipHere's my application method: I soak a cotton pad with toner, then add a few drops of Mandelic Acid on top before gently wiping my face. With my sensitive skin, I never apply it directly. After wiping, I follow up with a hydrating essence or moisturizing ampoule, then a gentle cream like Physiogel. The next morning, my skin feels amazing! I do this once or twice a week, and after about two months, those milia were history! If you have lots of milia, chin acne, and combination dehydrated skin that's transitioning from oily to dry, give this a try! I'm so happy now that those stubborn chin acne and milia are gone.

After suffering from milia for years, I finally escaped their clutches thanks to this gem! Now I'm only left with some acne scars, but I'm overjoyed that no new milia are appearing! Compared to other acid products, this one is gentler and doesn't cause any tingling, making it suitable for super sensitive skin.
ConsBe careful with the amount you apply! If you use too much, your skin might feel completely dry and flaky the next morning after cleansing. So remember to control the quantity well!
TipI mix this serum with another one (the niacinamide from the same brand) when applying. A coin-sized amount of niacinamide with 3-4 drops of this seems to work perfectly for me!

As they say, 'The proof is in the pudding.' The mildness of this Mandelic Acid serum comes from its key ingredients: * Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer: A modified form of hyaluronic acid; enhances hydration * Tasmanian Lanceolata Extract: Anti-irritation * Sodium Hydroxide: pH balancer I've tried various exfoliating products - scrubs, peeling gels, retinoids - you name it! But no matter what I used, my skin always became sensitive and red. This product is different from other exfoliants. When I apply the Mandelic Acid 10% + HA serum, my skin doesn't turn red. There's no feeling of sensitivity either. While the Mandelic Acid serum feels a bit rich, this sensation disappears after patting it into the skin a few times. With just a little tapping, the serum seems to absorb easily into the skin. Therefore, this serum is perfect for my sensitive skin. Whether it's hormonal acne or keratosis pilaris, my skin calmed down immediately after using this Mandelic Acid serum. It also evens out my complexion and brightens it. This Mandelic Acid serum is truly a lovely product. If you're looking for the brightening effects of [The Ordinary]'s Niacinamide serum but without any skin irritation, you'll likely love this serum.
ConsI can't think of a single reason to dislike this Mandelic Acid + HA serum. Thank you to the researchers for creating such an amazing product formula!
Tip* Dalton size comparison: - Retinol: 286 daltons - L-Ascorbic Acid: 176 daltons - Mandelic Acid: 152.1 daltons - Lactic Acid: 90 daltons - Glycolic Acid: 76 daltons - The larger the Dalton size, the slower the product absorbs into the skin. - * My Mandelic Acid serum usage method: (On days I use this product, I don't use tretinoin, and on days I use tretinoin, I don't use this product.) 1. Toner 2. [The Ordinary]'s Mandelic Acid 10% + HA 3. Dry hair (about 30-60 minutes) // Allows AHA to absorb into the skin 4. Regular skincare routine
