The first week, I barely saw any effects. I was wondering why nothing was happening, so I increased the amount, and then I noticed my skin texture becoming smoother and some very minor bumps were slightly reduced. The texture is unique as some people mentioned - it feels like an oil but also light! It really runs on your hands. With consistent use, the results are great! My skin's bumps have definitely decreased, and my blemish-prone skin has improved significantly. If I stop using this product for a few days, those little bumps come back... I guess my skin is very prone to dead skin cell buildup!
ConsIt's really painful and difficult to open the bottle with damp hands after washing your face. Also, it's hard to find offline. I couldn't find mandelic acid products at Sephora or Olive Young stores.

I'm really pleased with the results!
ConsRather than a downside, I'd like to caution those with super sensitive skin to never apply the liquid directly to your face. I had been mixing it with aloe with great results, but recently tried using it alone. My face turned red and was so painful when cleansing that I'm still struggling. Please use it gradually, increasing the amount slowly to suit your skin. I'm now worried about how to repair my skin barrier. If anyone has experienced this with acids and has tips to share, I'd be very grateful.
TipDon't get greedy with skincare!

Surprisingly, it's gentle enough for managing dead skin cells. While using too much can still cause some breakouts, mixing it with toner for an exfoliating treatment leaves my skin feeling smooth.
ConsThe downside is that when you first use it or after a long break, you might wake up the next day with some flaky patches, making your face look a bit unkempt. Boosting hydration helps resolve this quickly, but using it when you already have a buildup of dead skin cells can make your skin appear somewhat rough.
TipFor those with super sensitive skin, using this product alone might be too harsh. I recommend mixing it with your toner to create an exfoliating treatment, followed by thorough application of a hydrating moisturizer.

My skin is prone to blemishes and doesn't react well to fermented ingredients or pore-clogging components. I struggle to find suitable products, but this one worked wonders! Using it as a pure serum can make my skin a bit oily and almost cause blackheads (my skin is so sensitive that even sheet masks can trigger blackheads). However, I've found the perfect method: I mix a couple of drops with my emulsion in the evening, and by morning, my skin feels incredibly smooth!
ConsIt can be a bit rich. When applied undiluted, it feels like an oil slick on the skin.
TipFor best results, mix a few drops into your final skincare step. It's also highly effective for treating back acne.

Thinking my dead skin cells might be the culprit, I decided to try the gentle Mandelic Acid. The results were incredible! My skin felt incredibly smooth the very next day after first use! It didn't cause any blemishes, so I've been using it twice a week. Thanks to its exfoliating effect, my serums and creams absorb better, and my skin has improved significantly. All those pesky milia that had been bothering me for years are gone! It's truly an excellent product for gentle exfoliation.
ConsThere's not much to complain about... Well, since it's an exfoliating product, it's best not to use it with other harsh products. When I use this, I avoid brightening products as they can be irritating. I also found that using it with rosehip oil didn't work well for me and caused blemishes.
TipHere's my application method: I soak a cotton pad with toner, then add a few drops of Mandelic Acid on top before gently wiping my face. With my sensitive skin, I never apply it directly. After wiping, I follow up with a hydrating essence or moisturizing ampoule, then a gentle cream like Physiogel. The next morning, my skin feels amazing! I do this once or twice a week, and after about two months, those milia were history! If you have lots of milia, chin acne, and combination dehydrated skin that's transitioning from oily to dry, give this a try! I'm so happy now that those stubborn chin acne and milia are gone.

Initially, I applied it undiluted on a cotton pad, which caused my skin to freak out - I broke out in hives and had to get dermatological treatment for a week! However, after that initial reaction, I started mixing it with other products. Now, I have no adverse reactions, and my skin has become incredibly smooth. Just something to keep in mind!
ConsFirst-time use may cause skin irritation and itching
TipDilute before use
