  Pros

  It was my first time using a product with HA (hyaluronic acid). Initially, I applied it undiluted on a cotton pad, which caused my skin to freak out - I broke out in hives and had to get dermatological treatment for a week! However, after that initial reaction, I started mixing it with other products. Now, I have no adverse reactions, and my skin has become incredibly smooth. Just something to keep in mind!

  Pros

  I've tried most of The Ordinary products, including some not available in Korea since I'm currently abroad. This is the only one that's truly delivered results for me. What's more, it doesn't have that uncomfortable feel typical of The Ordinary products. It's a gentle exfoliant, so it's perfect for those who found other AHA products too harsh for their skin. I tend to get small bumps on my face, but after about two weeks of use, I noticed these bumps starting to diminish. After 5-6 weeks, even the stubborn whiteheads around my chin and mouth area were completely gone!

  Cons

  I started seeing results within two weeks, so I got excited and increased usage from twice a week to almost daily. This led to increased redness. There's a reason they recommend using it only twice a week at the store... I'm now using it patiently as directed.

  Tip

  It can be drying, so finish with a rich moisturizer. I find it too drying, so I apply a rice-grain sized amount of Bepanthen. The liquid tends to run, so I apply it evenly using a cotton pad.

  Pros

  When my skin got rough with blemishes or redness, I applied this and saw immediate results! It worked wonders!

  Cons

  I was warned to always apply sunscreen when going out during the day or afternoon after using this product. But I carelessly went out with just this on, and my face got sunburned. My entire face turned red and felt painfully tingly.
