The scent and absorption are great, and it's so convenient not having to apply sunscreen separately. Above all, the hydration is excellent! As my skin is quite fair for a man, I can't really tell if there's much of a brightening effect... - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinJan 21, 2021
It applies naturally and conveniently serves as both sunscreen and brightening moisturizer. It feels less hydrating and emollient, so it might be necessary to use it alongside other products. It seems best to apply toner and emulsion first, then this product, and finish with BB cream. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinNov 5, 2020
I have oily skin. With other skincare products like toners, emulsions, and sunscreens, my face would get greasy within 2-3 hours. But after using this product, I've noticed a significant improvement. Now my skin stays oil-free for about 7-9 hours, and the itchiness on my face has disappeared too. It's crucial to replenish moisture after cleansing. While this product keeps oil at bay, it can lead to dehydration. So after washing your face, make sure to use a sheet mask or the sleeping pack from this line to boost hydration. In the morning, I wash off the sleeping pack with soap, then apply the all-in-one product all over my face before heading to work. I pump it out 7-8 times - it might seem like a lot, but I pat it in thoroughly for better absorption. After work, I cleanse immediately: first with a foam cleanser, then with soap, and finally rinse with cold water. Then I apply the sleeping pack all over my face. Even when I shower, I always wash my face last. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 31, 2020
Here's my review as one of The Hwahae Testers: In brief: 1. I loved how convenient it was to use this as both an emulsion and sunscreen in one step! 2. The fragrance was so pleasant that I found myself wanting to apply it more often. 3. The brightening effect wasn't too intense, so I could apply it lightly. 4. After application, there was no greasy feeling on my skin. After using this sunscreen, I started to develop a few blemishes... I know sunscreens generally contain ingredients that might not be great for the skin, but I hadn't experienced breakouts with other products. This one just didn't seem to agree with my skin... So now I'm using it generously on my body instead! It's better to use this in combination with an emulsion rather than on its own. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 31, 2020
1. It's really convenient. I use this after cleansing and applying toner, and sometimes I just apply this alone when I'm feeling lazy. 2. It gives a more refined feeling to my skin compared to just using toner and emulsion. It doesn't make you excessively pale, but if you pump it twice and spread it evenly, it gives a clean look without being noticeable. 1. Since it's not specifically designed for oily skin, it doesn't control sebum. My skin became quite oily within 2 hours of application. Wearing a mask on top of that feels quite uncomfortable. 2. This might vary from person to person, but I experienced some itching after applying it. After using it for 3 consecutive days, I noticed some pustular blemishes appearing. So it might be difficult to use frequently. I recommend this for people who need to rush out or don't want to apply multiple products separately! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 31, 2020
1. Convenience: An all-in-one product with sun protection that finishes your routine in one step 2. Scent: A subtle fragrance that hints at being a men's product 3. Texture: The ideal feel for men - neither completely dry nor sticky 4. Skin-enhancing: Slightly brightens and makes skin look smooth like a peeled egg. I was pleasantly surprised! It gives a subtle brightening effect without looking like you're wearing makeup. Your skin just looks clearer. I'm really satisfied with this aspect 1. Limited skincare benefits: As an all-in-one product designed for convenience, it works well in humid or hot summer weather, but might not be sufficient for other seasons -> Some may find it a bit drying 2. Uncertainty about sun protection: The product description mentions added sun protection, which made me wonder if it would be as effective as a dedicated sunscreen -> The packaging simply says 'sunscreen' -> It might be better to market it primarily as a sunscreen 3. Pilling issues: After applying, the white formula of the Hazzys product doesn't spread evenly. While it's nice to apply, it tends to pill up a bit when you try to spread it out This seems to hit the sweet spot between other all-in-one products and Hazzys sun care - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 31, 2020
★Review from The Hwahae Testers★ I've been using this for about 2 weeks now. Usually, I'm not a fan of all-in-one products! I thought I could manage applying toner, emulsion, and sunscreen separately, so I didn't prefer them. But as I used this, I found it surprisingly convenient! Especially during this rainy season when the sun isn't too strong, I often used just this all-in-one, thinking it might be sufficient for UV protection. 1. Texture : It applies very smoothly, and I liked the immediate moisturizing feeling after application. 2. White cast : There's a slight white cast, which is a bit disappointing given the amount you need to apply for an all-in-one product! With the right amount, it gave a nice brightening effect. 3. Longevity : As I used it, I noticed it became slightly drying, probably due to the mineral sunscreen. As an all-in-one, it might be a bit challenging to apply right after washing your face. On days with lots of outdoor activities, you need to apply more sunscreen, but since this is an all-in-one product combining skincare and sun protection, it's hard to apply as much as you would with a dedicated sunscreen! To be honest, even though it's SPF50, I'm a bit worried about its lasting power, so on very sunny days when I need to be outside for a long time, it's probably better to apply a separate sunscreen! For an all-in-one product, it has an excellent texture and the added convenience of sunscreen. The price seems a bit high for the amount you get. Highly recommended for men who absolutely hate applying sunscreen and find toner and emulsion bothersome! Might not be as useful for men who usually apply toner, emulsion, and sunscreen separately. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 31, 2020
Here's my method for choosing sunscreen: 1. Absorption 2. Oil control 3. White cast 4. Ingredients 5. Price I consider these five factors most important. Especially nowadays, with masks due to COVID, I focused my review on ingredients and skin comfort above all else. Let's break it down: 1. Absorption As an all-in-one product, it applies beautifully. It spreads thinly, feels comfortable on the face, and doesn't feel heavy at all. 2. Oil control I have combination skin. This is a must-try for those with oily skin. While using this product, I thought, 'Wow, I've never had such good oil control before.' I even did an oil test with blotting papers - except for the T-zone (nose), there was barely any oil on other areas. Everyone's nose gets a bit oily, right? But I was shocked at how little oil there was elsewhere - it even decreased! 3. White cast Everyone hates white cast, right? Especially those with darker skin tones - it can make your face look ghostly. Most men don't have skin as fair as women, and this product seems more tailored to men than other male-specific products. Instead of leaving a white cast, it gives a slightly brighter, more radiant look. 4. Ingredients I had a preconception that an all-in-one sunscreen would have poor ingredients, but I was surprised to find they're even better than regular sunscreens. The ingredient list is impressive compared to most sunscreens out there. 5. Price Ah, we can't talk about sunscreen without mentioning price, can we? Usually, if the quantity is good, it's expensive; if the ingredients are good, it's small and pricey. That's how it usually goes for me! Honestly, it might seem a bit expensive, but considering it's an all-in-one with great ingredients and decent quantity, I think it's worth it. Personally, I liked the fragrance, but I'm giving it 4 stars because some people might be sensitive to scents when buying this product. For sunscreen to be fully effective, apply a thin layer and then gently pat it into your skin to help it absorb properly. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 31, 2020
The absorbs well! Even when I apply a lot, it doesn't feel heavy or cause pilling, making it easy to use the recommended amount of sunscreen. Plus, being an all-in-one product, its convenience seems to be its biggest strength. It also pairs well with base products, working great with both dewy and matte finishes. The scent is too much like old-school men's aftershave... It does dissipate, but the fragrance is a bit overwhelming. I applied it after light skincare, but it still feels rich, which shows they really focused on the all-in-one aspect. Those with combination dehydrated skin like me might only be able to use this with just a watery toner underneath. It pairs well with matte foundations (no pilling), so I recommend using it with a matte foundation. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 31, 2020
It absorbs beautifully into the skin. It's gentle on the skin with minimal irritation, and the brightening effect is impressive! First and foremost, it's incredibly convenient. An all-in-one product is the best! Unlike ordinary products, it even has sun protection, making it absolutely top-notch! After washing your face, applying just this one product is enough. I'll definitely be using this regularly. Hmm... To be honest, I haven't been using it for very long, so I haven't found any drawbacks yet.
