This product is a keeper - it's gentle, absorbs well, and rinses off easily At around $30 for 130ml, I suppose the price is reasonable. However, I wish there was a version with more nourishing ingredients - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 18, 2021
I really liked how it absorbs, its absorption power, and the natural way it evens out my skin tone. Like many others probably felt, the coverage is a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 22, 2020
It absorbs well and doesn't feel sticky, making it pleasant to use. I like that it spreads evenly into every nook and cranny, even when applied casually like you're washing your face. (This review is based on my father's experience after I gifted it to him!) At first, it appears white, but that fades away quickly. I don't really find any significant drawbacks. Buying the set is great because it comes with other products like a night moisturizer and an after-shave toner. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAug 3, 2020
The product packaging is really beautifully designed. When I applied it to the back of my hand, I was pleased to find that it wasn't sticky at all and absorbed into the skin nicely, leaving it feeling moisturized! There wasn't anything particularly disappointing, but as with most brightening products, it seems like you need to use it for a long time to see the full effects. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 31, 2020
Here's a review from The Hwahae Testers: 1. Brightening: When applied lightly, it nicely reduces redness and naturally evens skin tone. 2. Absorption: It sinks in incredibly well right after application. Absorbs beautifully. 3. Convenience: It's great to use just one product instead of applying toner, emulsion, and sunscreen separately every day. Seems perfect for daily use. 4. Design: Personally, I think it's well-crafted. 1. Scent: As soon as I opened the package and applied it to my hand, I thought the fragrance might be polarizing. I'm a man, but I don't like the strong, distinctive smell often found in men's cosmetics. Sometimes the scent makes me dizzy while working (I have a sensitive nose). Surprisingly, people around me think the fragrance is okay. 2. Blemishes: My skin is extremely sensitive. From the fourth day of use, I started getting small bumps (quite a few...). 3. Price: The cost is quite burdensome. If someone asked if I'd buy it again, I'd have to think twice. 4. Oil: If you have oily skin, try to apply it in thin layers. White cast appears surprisingly quickly when going out for work or exercise. I probably won't repurchase, primarily because of the scent... It has that intense, distinctive smell of men's cosmetics that makes me dizzy. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 31, 2020
Lucky me, I got selected as a Hwahae Tester! But I'll make sure to write an accurate review. Since I'm not great at organizing my thoughts, I'll just write it all out. The scent is mature and sophisticated. It has good absorption, and like most skincare essentials, it doesn't leave a white cast (though I actually prefer a slight one). Anyway, it's not sticky, absorbs well, and feels moisturizing. I'm a bit skeptical about all-in-one products, but if it doesn't cause any blemishes, I'll keep using it for convenience. (I have some razor bumps, but I'm covering those with another product.) And get this - the sun protection is SPF 50+ and PA++++. That's a game-changer! First off, being an all-in-one product, I'm slightly concerned about the ingredients. With no white cast, it obviously provides no coverage. It can't even hide the tiniest blemish, so you'll need to follow up with BB cream or concealer. I didn't notice at first, but after a while, it feels a bit oily... those with oily skin might struggle even more. Also, while the price is typical for an all-in-one product, it would need frequent discounts to be a regular purchase. Since it doesn't provide any coverage, I recommend using a BB cream or a product with some coverage after this. As for the oiliness that develops over time, invest in some blotting papers. They're cheap! Just use one sheet after lunch to freshen up. Remember, guys need skincare too! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 31, 2020
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers! Absorption: It spreads very well!! Absorbs at a decent pace, not too slow! Ingredients: Contains small amounts of fragrance and potential allergens, so not recommended for super sensitive skin! Fine for normal skin! + Contains mineral sunscreen, so there's a white cast!! Volume: 130ml in a pump bottle, which is a generous amount and very convenient - Good! When I received the product, they included a 50ml tube-type sunscreen as a bonus! Value for money: Pretty decent! (You know how hard it is to be 'decent', right?? Haha) UV protection: It has the highest SPF rating among sunscreens! Because it has a moisturizing finish, it might be a bit challenging for those with oily skin to use in summer. While it's designed to combine skincare and sunscreen in one step, it's crucial to moisturize before applying sunscreen ingredients to reduce potential irritation. So, I recommend doing your skincare routine before applying this! Since this sunscreen provides both oil and moisture for a hydrated finish, I recommend pairing it with a semi-matte to matte base makeup! Great for a foundation-free look! (Mineral sunscreen > Brightening effect) (Depending on face size) Pump 3 times onto the back of your hand, spread it out, then apply a thin layer to your face with your fingers! (Just make sure to apply enough!) Cheeks can handle more product as the skin is thicker, but apply less to areas with thinner skin like around the eyes, sides of the nose, near the lips, between eyebrows, and forehead! Pay extra attention if you're applying makeup on top! Don't forget to apply it to your neck too! ^.^ (Photo 1: Product shot // Photo 2: Back-of-hand test, left side (before application) right side (after application)!) - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 31, 2020
I really love how quickly it absorbs. At first, I applied the same amount as my usual sunscreen and thought I'd messed up because it looked white and cakey. But after patting my face a few times, it absorbed completely. Also, some sunscreens can make your face feel rough when applying or after, but this one feels nice going on. It does leave a slightly greasy feeling after application. I wouldn't recommend it to those who dislike that. Also, despite being a functional cosmetic, it doesn't feel much different from a regular sunscreen. I haven't noticed immediate whitening effects, though that could be because I haven't used it long. As a basic sunscreen, there are cheaper and better options out there, which is disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 31, 2020
It's fantastic that this all-in-one product even includes sun protection. As someone who prioritizes ingredients, I appreciate that it's free from harmful components and contains all three functional ingredients - that's a huge plus! You could say it's truly a one-stop solution for everything. The absorbs well, gliding on smoothly and absorbing nicely into the skin. While it does create some difference in complexion, the hydration and scent are quite pleasant in my opinion. I also like the packaging and design, and it dispenses just the right amount for each use. I did experience very minor blemishes over five days, though I'm unsure if it was due to this product or other factors. When using it as a sunscreen substitute, you need to apply a bit more, and there's a slight white cast. However, this might not be an issue for those who actually prefer a brightening effect. While it does even skin tone, its skin-perfecting abilities are somewhat limited. I believe the price point is reasonable, and it would be a great deal if purchased during a sale. Due to its multi-functionality, it may not excel extraordinarily in any single aspect, which could be seen as a limitation. I'd recommend trying it initially as a supplementary product. You could layer it over your toner and emulsion for additional skin-perfecting and sun protection benefits. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinJul 30, 2020
Advantages: I love that it's an all-in-one product, perfect for applying right after washing my face. As someone who dislikes layering multiple products, this significantly cuts down my morning routine time. The fragrance is subtler compared to typical men's skincare products. It's not overpowering, which I appreciate, especially since sunscreen needs to be applied generously and strong scents can be off-putting. This one has a pleasant, subtle aroma (similar to standard men's cosmetics). It absorbs well and leaves my skin feeling hydrated. As someone who often equates moisture with oiliness, I was pleasantly surprised by how it absorbs quickly while leaving my skin feeling moisturized. There's a slight white cast, but it provides a natural brightening effect on my fair complexion. It noticeably improves my overall complexion. I'd recommend this for those with lighter skin tones. Disadvantages: As an all-in-one moisturizer and sunscreen, the ingredients aren't bad, but they're not exceptionally great either. Some might find the price a bit high, but after using it, I personally think it's reasonably priced for what it offers!
