I really liked how it absorbs, its absorption power, and the natural way it evens out my skin tone. Like many others probably felt, the coverage is a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 3, 2020
I loved how it applied smoothly and felt moisturizing on my skin. It was also great that it brightened my complexion naturally without looking too obvious. Considering the price, I didn't feel it was exceptionally impressive. It's disappointing that it lacks coverage. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 31, 2020
The Hwahae Testers review here. First off, I'm a woman, and I've compiled feedback from my dad and brother who have been using this product for two weeks. The packaging is simple - you get the main product plus a complimentary 50ml bottle. Both the box and the container are sleek, making it a stylish addition to any vanity. The 50ml size is perfect for on-the-go application. The fragrance is subtle, reminiscent of typical men's skincare products, with a hint of citrus. It's not overpowering, which my scent-sensitive family members appreciated. Application is gentle on the skin. Even after shaving, when most products tend to sting or irritate, this one doesn't cause discomfort. Being an all-in-one product, it's convenient - no need for multiple steps. It doesn't leave the skin feeling tight after application. Despite being labeled as 'whitening', it doesn't dramatically lighten the skin. This allows for comfortable twice-daily application (before work and during lunch) without looking unnatural. The texture is on the thinner side. While it doesn't drip when squeezed out, it spreads easily, feeling more like an emulsion than a sunscreen. The price feels a bit steep for the amount you get. It might be challenging for students to afford. The staying power is somewhat disappointing. While it doesn't dramatically whiten the skin, which is good, it tends to fade after about half a day. Those with oily skin might find it wears off even faster. It doesn't cover blemishes. It's best to think of it as a tone-up sunscreen rather than a concealing product. For best results, apply by gently patting the product onto your skin rather than rubbing it in. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 31, 2020
Hello there! I was lucky enough to be chosen as one of The Hwahae Testers, and I'd like to share my personal thoughts on the pros, cons, and areas for improvement of this product. (Keep in mind, these are just my personal opinions!) 1. First off, I'm not usually one to pay much attention to packaging design, but I have to say this one caught my eye as quite attractive. 2. Secondly, as someone with combination and super sensitive skin, I'm always extremely cautious about ingredients. I was pleased to find that this product's formulation wasn't problematic, and even better, I experienced no blemishes, redness, or irritation. What a relief! 3. The pump dispenser is great for controlling the amount and keeping things hygienic. 4. Personally, I'm not a fan of matte textures, so I really appreciated the fluid consistency which made it easy to spread evenly. And of course, it absorbs well too! 5. While the brightening effect may vary depending on individual complexion, I found it just right for me. It subtly brightens the skin without being overpowering. (It doesn't leave a white cast like some products do.) 6. Those with dry or dehydrated skin might be wary of ingredients that can lead to moisture loss, but the lightweight texture makes it easy to apply and it absorbs well. 7. For those with oily skin, I think this would work just fine. I lean towards the oily side myself, and I didn't experience any drying or tightness after application. I'm still using this product regularly, which speaks to how good and user-friendly it is. I'll upload photos separately. It does feel a bit pricey, but it would be great to grab during a sale! I expect opinions will vary due to different skin tones. While it does have a brightening effect, it doesn't seem to cover blemishes or troubled areas. So if that's what you're looking for, you might find this product a bit lacking. While those with dry skin might have some complaints about this product, I think it could work well if you have a hydrating serum on hand. Try mixing one pump of this with about 3 drops of your serum. My philosophy is if a product doesn't quite meet all your needs, you can always adapt your routine to make it work! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 3, 2019
1. Absorbs beautifully into the skin 2. Has a pleasant fragrance 3. No white cast 1. On the pricier side 2. Coverage is just okay 3. Doesn't adhere well to combination skin and tends to sit on top slightly - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 1, 2019
*One-week usage review* As someone who goes out often, I really appreciated that it doesn't look obvious on the skin. With just sunscreen, people often ask, 'Did you put something on your face? Why would a guy use skincare?' But this product gives a subtle glow without being too noticeable, which I love. The absorbs well is great, it glides on smoothly like water. Highly recommend for those who want an easy, discreet application. It's perfect for office workers who don't sweat much. While it absorbs well, the coverage is disappointingly light. It's a shame that it wears off quickly when you're active or sweating. I don't mind, but the glow might be a bit much for some. Around 1 PM when the sun is blazing, your skin might look overly dewy, so those who dislike that should consider carefully before buying. The lack of coverage is really the main drawback of this product. I recommend using it in the evening or after sunset. Be careful not to squeeze out too much, as it absorbs slowly if you use too much. Apply a small amount for best results. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 27, 2019
Here's my review after winning this product from Hwahae: 1. Texture It doesn't feel overly sticky or slippery like typical sunscreens. The consistency is similar to a moisturizer. 2. Brightening effect It doesn't leave a stark white cast, but it definitely brightens your complexion when applied. Think of it more as having an essence-like effect rather than a whitening sunscreen. 3. Low oil content If you're hesitant to use sunscreen due to blemishes, give this product a try. It leaves your skin feeling firm after application, and I didn't experience any greasiness from morning application to evening cleansing. If you have dry skin, it might even cause some flaking...? 4. Scent As a man, I found the fragrance quite pleasant. It seems like a scent that suits men well. It's similar to the smell of skin lotion after a bath... It's not overpowering, but the subtle scent lasts for a while. 5. Cleansing effectiveness This is my favorite aspect. As a man who doesn't wear makeup, I don't use cleansing oil. I used to have to wash twice with just cleansing foam to remove sunscreen, but this product lathers well and rinses off cleanly. This was the feature I appreciated the most. 1. Weak longevity Perhaps because it absorbs quickly into the skin, its staying power is somewhat lacking. By evening, even without scratching your face, you might notice signs of the product breaking down. It's possible to maintain coverage by reapplying frequently, but... 2. Insufficient coverage It doesn't really cover acne scars or pores. As a result, areas around pores or blackheads might appear noticeably whiter. I recommend managing dead skin cells and oil control before using this product. 3. Disappointing absorption Perhaps because it's an all-in-one product with essence-like effects, it absorbs much slower than traditional sunscreens. You need to spend quite some time spreading it out. I have combination skin, so I tend to avoid products with high oil content, especially when it comes to sunscreens. I would recommend this product to those with oily-leaning skin and a fair complexion like mine. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 24, 2019
Profile: Dehydrated/Oily/Acne-prone skin Product: Hazzys Man Rule 429 - Whitening Sun All-in-One [Benefits] • The absorption is absolutely top-notch. - A moisturizing, water-like cream texture • Natural coverage. - Looks like you're not wearing anything • Generous amount. - A small amount is sufficient to cover the entire face • No stickiness. - While many all-in-one essences on the market can be sticky, this product isn't sticky at all, but rather leaves skin feeling fresh. This aspect deserves a particularly high score • Well-tolerated ingredients - Despite having rather sensitive skin, fortunately, I didn't experience any blemishes or skin issues • Simple design - The design isn't overly flashy, but perfectly suited for men's cosmetics Recommended for: • Those who want a 'no-makeup makeup' look • Those looking for a moisturizing sunscreen that absorbs quickly • Those who love the scent of men's cologne • Those seeking non-sticky cosmetics • As expected, it doesn't cover acne scars • The scent might be polarizing (typical men's cologne-like fragrance) • The cap might be slightly inconvenient to close, but personally, I find it better than twist-off caps Use as the final step in your skincare routine - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 23, 2019
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. Due to blemishes appearing and disappearing because of fine dust, it affected the evaluation process, which is why this review might seem a bit delayed. - Natural brightening / Sun protection At first application, I thought it was too light, but after smoothing it out again, it adheres naturally to the skin. Two pumps seemed to be just right. - Universally appealing scent The fragrance is not overpowering and well-balanced. A notable advantage is the absence of that typical cosmetic smell. - Packaging design The design is quite attractive. - It doesn't cover blemishes... - I wonder if it was necessary to make the bottle cap completely detachable. It's too large to carry around, and it's inconvenient for bathroom use. It's suitable for everyday use. As it's an all-in-one product, I use it by applying serum first and then layering this on top.
