Conveniently packaged in a pump bottle. That's about the only positive thing I can say... There's a noticeable white cast. After three pumps, it brightens your skin so much it becomes obvious you're wearing something. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 25, 2021
Lightweight, absorbs well, feels refreshing, and has a pleasant scent. There's only a slight white cast. The pump tends to break easily. There's a noticeable white cast, and the fragrance isn't particularly luxurious. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAug 27, 2020
Just squeeze out four pumps and spread it evenly over your face, and you're done! There's a white cast issue. Make sure to blend it in well! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 4, 2020
Design: Clean and simple without any unnecessary frills Practicality: Satisfied with the ability to use just the right amount, and it doesn't run Absorption: Being an all-in-one product, it doesn't feel thick or heavy Moisturizes well and doesn't pill even with a small amount White cast: There might be a white cast if you use too much, but no worries when applied in the right amount Price: As someone who values cost-effectiveness, it feels a bit expensive and might make me hesitate to repurchase While I was satisfied with the white cast and how it absorbs, like most cosmetics, the wrinkle improvement and dramatic brightening effects were a bit disappointing. With more men becoming conscious about skincare, it might be good to launch products focused on a single function rather than just all-in-one solutions. For those with oily skin, this might provide excessive hydration, so applying a bit less than usual in your basic skincare routine can help prevent an oil overload. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAug 2, 2020
The fragrance is lovely, and it's an all-in-one product, making it convenient as you only need to apply it once. There seems to be a bit of a white cast issue. It might be a matter of adjusting the amount used, but I'll need to use it more to be sure. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinJul 31, 2020
The Hazzys Whitening Sun All-in-One is a serum-type product, so it's similar to Dr.G Green Mild Up Sun, which is specialized for dry skin. However, as I have oily skin, the Green Mild feels a bit heavy. So, I've been comparing it with my go-to matte sunscreen, Dr.G Whitening Up Sun. First off, in summer, my face tends to get flushed due to heat, so coverage is important. Dr.G Whitening Up Sun has a beige tone-up effect, Dr.G Green Mild Up Sun is white, while Hazzys Whitening Sun All-in-One uniquely has a light green tint, similar to a redness-correcting primer or makeup base. This makes it more effective at evening out skin tone and neutralizing redness from heat. As expected from a serum-type all-in-one, it has a glossy, bouncy texture right upon application. I usually do AHA/BHA exfoliation, then hydrating toner, followed by a hydrating emulsion. When I applied the Hazzys on top of all that, it was too much hydration, causing pilling and poor absorption. However, when I just used it after exfoliation, like an all-in-one emulsion, patting it in along my skin texture, it absorbed quickly without any pilling. This seems perfect for guys who want a no-fuss routine. It's not just a hydrating serum - there's also a subtle powdery component that gives a matte finish over time. You can tell by how it makes your hair feel a bit crispy if it gets on it after the moisture evaporates. This indicates it has some sweat-absorbing and water-repellent properties too. While it's great for oily and combination skin like mine, those with dry skin might find its lasting power a bit lacking. Also, as it's a color-correcting tone-up for warm skin tones, cool-toned folks might end up looking a bit zombie-like when using it. Though there aren't many cool-toned men out there... On the flip side, for those who follow a thorough 3-step skincare routine, this product might cause pilling and appear white until it's fully absorbed, which could actually be more time-consuming. In that case, it might be better to stick with your usual products for your regular routine, and use this as an all-in-one option for quick application after going out, working out, or showering when you don't have time for a full routine. I'll probably end up using the travel-sized tube version mostly. - Hwahae UserOily SkinJul 31, 2020
•Review after winning The Hwahae Testers selection• I'm a male in my 20s with oily skin. _Hydration_ Although it's an all-in-one product, I applied it after cleansing and using toner to refine my skin texture. If the toner isn't fully absorbed, it can pill slightly in the afternoon, but when the toner is well-absorbed before application, it maintains moisture nicely. It doesn't leave an overly oily feeling. _Scent_ As expected from a men's product, it has a refreshing scent. Personally, I really like this aspect. _Ingredients_ To be honest, I was initially concerned about the ingredient list, but I believe that as long as it suits your skin well, these ingredients are acceptable. It worked well with my skin, so I wasn't too worried about it. _White cast_ If you don't spread it thinly and pat it in for absorption, it can leave a noticeable white cast. This is something to be careful about! _Price_ It's on the pricier side, so while I'm not strongly inclined to repurchase, I'm still considering it. Due to the white cast, I used a small amount in the morning and then applied a chemical sunscreen with an emulsion-like texture in the afternoon. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 31, 2020
As an all-in-one product, it's convenient to use. The scent is reminiscent of a men's toner, and it absorbs well on the skin. Since it includes sun protection, there's a slight white cast. Also, if you have oily skin, you might find it a bit rich. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 31, 2020
The Hwahae Testers info: 40 years old, male, oily skin type Packaging: Clean and lightweight container. Being plastic, it's convenient to carry in a bag without the risk of bursting like a tube or shattering like glass. The pump dispenser allows for easy application, and the additional cap cover helps maintain hygiene around the nozzle area. Value for money: At 38,000 won for 130ml, it's on the pricier side for sunblock. However, considering it's not just a sun care product but a multifunctional all-in-one that eliminates the need for separate toner and emulsion, the value is quite reasonable. Texture, application & fragrance: The consistency reminds me of a runny sunscreen, with a tendency to flow rather than stay put when applied. There's a noticeable oiliness and slight slickness, but it absorbs quickly, initially giving a matte impression. The scent is an artificial 'male cosmetic' smell - not particularly appealing, but not excessively old-fashioned or masculine either. Ingredients: Checking on Hwahae, the ingredients are generally stable, and apart from fragrance and a few others, it's quite impressive. I'd like to give high marks for the well-rounded inclusion of beneficial functional ingredients for UV protection, brightening, and anti-wrinkle effects. Review & effectiveness: While it applies smoothly and feels light immediately after absorption, oiliness becomes quite noticeable shortly after. Considering it's a sun care product, this isn't a major disappointment, but it's disappointing how quickly the matte, refreshing feeling fades. As for the 'whitening' effect mentioned in the name, it's hard to tell if it's a tone-up or just white cast. It's more of a pale, washed-out look rather than a vibrant brightness. This aspect might vary greatly between individuals due to different skin tones. Those with naturally fair skin might not need the tone-up effect, while it might appear artificial on darker or redder complexions. Although it's an all-in-one product, using a toner first can provide a fresher feel. It seems more suitable for normal to dry skin types rather than oily skin. - Hwahae UserOily SkinJul 31, 2020
The best thing about this all-in-one product is that it allows you to complete your skincare routine in one step. However, being an all-in-one product, it seems to fall short of perfecting every aspect. The sunscreen's absorption requires thorough application to avoid a white cast, which can be time-consuming. As an all-in-one, its effectiveness in hydration and skin conditioning appears minimal. It's closer to a sunscreen than a true all-in-one, yet as a sunscreen, it feels somewhat lacking. It might be better to focus on one function instead! You'll likely need to apply other basic skincare products as well. Otherwise, your skin might feel a bit dry and not properly conditioned.
