  It's excellent for tightening pores. I love that it comes in a large size. I apply it after using a face mask.

  Cons

  After using this toner, other skincare products don't absorb well. It's even worse when used under makeup.

  Pros

  This might be perfect for acne-prone skin. When I apply it, I feel like my pores are visibly shrinking!

  Cons

  It's absolutely unusable before makeup. You'll witness your foundation breaking apart as you apply it over this product.

  Tip

  Store it in the fridge and apply it before bed - you'll wake up with fewer blemishes. Don't forget to regularly use a peeling gel to remove dead skin cells too.

  Pros

  Great for pores and blemishes in hot summer. Dab it on your T-zone and trouble spots, and they calm right down.

  Cons

  Even with oily skin, it's super drying in winter. Really only meant for targeted use on acne-prone areas in peak summer.

  Tip

  The alcohol content definitely tightens pores, but it's too drying to use all over. Despite the small size, it lasts ages since you only need it for spot treatments.

  As expected for oily skin, it feels refreshing and I love how it tightens my pores. After applying, it's so tightening that I need to follow up with a moisturizer right away!

  Cons

  Unfortunately, it pills up like dead skin cells after application. Because of this, you need to move on to the next skincare step immediately.

  Pros

  It's amazing for clearing up blemishes! It also gives a feeling of tightening the pores. If you wipe it over your blemishes a few times, it helps draw out the pus, and when you extract it, the blemish disappears.

  Cons

  It's too drying and makes my skin feel tight. I wouldn't recommend it as a toner for the entire face.

  Tip

  Just wipe it over your blemishes and extract the pus - your blemishes will vanish in no time!

  Pros

  This toner tends to divide opinions, but for those with very oily skin, it's an absolute must-have to start your skincare routine in summer. I apply it with a cotton pad to cleanse my face, then follow up with another toner. It gives a refreshing, cooling sensation and seems to help minimize pores too.

  Cons

  However, this toner can't be used on its own. If you apply moisturizer directly after this, it pills up like dead skin cells. You must first cleanse with this, then layer another toner on top before applying moisturizer or makeup. To be honest, this extra step can be a bit of a hassle sometimes.

  Pros

  When sebum production goes into overdrive during midsummer, apply this generously to areas with enlarged pores like the nose, forehead, and cheeks after cleansing and basic skincare. Soak a sheet mask (just the sheet) with it and place it on your skin - you'll feel an intense tightening sensation along with a cooling effect almost as cold as ice. It's incredibly effective for calming oily skin in the summer!

  Cons

  You can't apply makeup over this. It sometimes forms a thin coating on the skin, and if left on too long, it can even cause a slight blue tint (which washes off when you cleanse). Anything applied over this coating tends to pill, so it's only useful for soothing the skin before bed - there's no other way to use it.

  Tip

  I find it helpful to buy dry sheet masks separately and soak them with this product - it's a great way to use it as a cooling pack on your face.

  When blemishes appear, nothing works faster than applying this with a cotton pad. It effectively controls sebum and visibly reduces pores.

  Cons

  It's too drying for regular use and causes my makeup to pill. The alcohol scent is overly harsh.
