  Excellent for tightening pores and soothing the skin. It's incredibly beneficial for blemish-prone skin, so I highly recommend it!

  Cons

  Unlike other creams that cause pilling, this one doesn't. You can even layer other toners on top without any issues.

  I have oily skin with lots of excess sebum and blemishes. I've been using this product for over 10 years, and it has significantly improved my skin concerns, making it a staple in my routine. I was worried it might have been discontinued! It's great for calming the skin, especially when followed up with a calendula emulsion for an extra soothing effect.

  Cons

  If you apply a moisturizer immediately after using the Blue Herbal toner, it can cause pilling and white residue. However, this can be avoided by waiting a bit between steps. It's such a shame that this product has been discontinued...

  Pros

  I've been using this for 12 years now. It's so effective that I break out when I don't use it. As someone with oily skin, it controls my sebum really well. I use this as my first step, followed by a soothing, hydrating toner.

  Cons

  Due to ingredients like alcohol, you need to pay extra attention to hydration.

  Tip

  I'm sure most of you do this already, but make sure to apply it with a cotton pad.

  Pros

  This is my go-to product when blemishes appear. It seems to work well for my oily-prone skin. I think it's excellent for calming inflammatory acne.

  Cons

  It's a shame that the moisturizer I used to pair with this has been discontinued. I've tried using it with other gentle or all-in-one emulsions, but if the ingredients don't match well, I can feel the emulsion leaving a residue and not absorbing properly.

  Tip

  The instructions say to apply it with a cotton pad, but I find that gently patting it on with my hands, as if I'm moistening my skin, provides an even better calming effect.

  I have sensitive, acne-prone skin. When I apply this to my blemishes, I wake up the next day feeling like it's really calmed things down!

  It stings terribly when applied after shaving. If you have any small cuts or blemishes on your skin, it really hurts when you put this on.

  Pros

  I mainly used this for blemishes or after shaving when my skin was irritated. It had a soothing effect, probably due to the alcohol content, but it wasn't too harsh on my skin.

  Cons

  After application, there's quite a bit of pilling when I apply some emulsions. It would be better if they reduced the alcohol content a bit.

  Pros

  I've been using this for years, and it's great for calming and cooling my skin when blemishes flare up. That's why I keep coming back to it.

  Cons

  It's hard to expect dramatic results when used alone. When layering with other products, it tends to pill or leave a white residue, possibly due to the alcohol content. It's frustrating.

  Tip

  While I'm not promoting Kiehl's, from my experience, it works best when used with the emulsion from the same line at Kiehl's.
