  Excellent for tightening pores and soothing the skin. It's incredibly beneficial for blemish-prone skin, so I highly recommend it!

  Cons

  Unlike other creams that cause pilling, this one doesn't. You can even layer other toners on top without any issues.

  I have oily skin with lots of excess sebum and blemishes. I've been using this product for over 10 years, and it has significantly improved my skin concerns, making it a staple in my routine. I was worried it might have been discontinued! It's great for calming the skin, especially when followed up with a calendula emulsion for an extra soothing effect.

  Cons

  If you apply a moisturizer immediately after using the Blue Herbal toner, it can cause pilling and white residue. However, this can be avoided by waiting a bit between steps. It's such a shame that this product has been discontinued...

  I've been using this for 12 years now. It's so effective that I break out when I don't use it. As someone with oily skin, it controls my sebum really well. I use this as my first step, followed by a soothing, hydrating toner.

  Cons

  Due to ingredients like alcohol, you need to pay extra attention to hydration.

  Tip

  I'm sure most of you do this already, but make sure to apply it with a cotton pad.

  Pros

  This is my go-to product when blemishes appear. It seems to work well for my oily-prone skin. I think it's excellent for calming inflammatory acne.

  Cons

  It's a shame that the moisturizer I used to pair with this has been discontinued. I've tried using it with other gentle or all-in-one emulsions, but if the ingredients don't match well, I can feel the emulsion leaving a residue and not absorbing properly.

  Tip

  The instructions say to apply it with a cotton pad, but I find that gently patting it on with my hands, as if I'm moistening my skin, provides an even better calming effect.

  It's fantastic when you cleanse your face and then generously apply this on a cotton pad. After using this, I noticed a significant reduction in my blemishes, which was great!

  As someone with oily skin, this toner completely eliminates facial oil. It controls sebum on my nose and leaves my skin with a beautiful glow. It's like my skin has been transported back to how it felt after visiting hot springs! All my blemishes and tiny bumps have disappeared - it's amazing. I used to struggle finding the right toner for oily skin and had almost given up, but this has become my holy grail for my skincare routine.

  Cons

  After applying this toner and following up with a cream or gel, everything pills. It creates white, flaky residue that rolls off like dead skin cells.

  Tip

  For makeup application, I recommend using this toner first, then following with an oil-based toner to help with absorption, and finally applying your moisturizer.

  It definitely controls sebum well. When you feel a pimple coming on, applying this is spot-on!

  Cons

  If you apply essence or emulsion right after this, it's a disaster. You need to let it absorb a bit before applying anything else.
