A great daily essential that's easy to use! 1. Color The shade 21 is truly beautiful! I think the color is the best feature of this Blanc BB. Although it's shade 21, it's on the brighter side, giving a brightening effect while allowing for a natural, lively skin appearance. 2. Application It applies incredibly thinly! I find it works well when applied with a cushion puff that dispenses the product. 3. Longevity The staying power is quite good! The beautiful color doesn't darken and maintains better than expected! 4. Packaging The packaging is absolutely stunning, a real eye-catcher... It's almost too pretty! 1. Coverage The biggest drawback is that it doesn't even provide as much coverage as a cushion foundation... It feels like a product that sits between a brightening moisturizer and a cushion in terms of coverage. 2. Scent I'm not sure why Missha products always have this distinctive cosmetic smell mixed with an artificial fragrance... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 25, 2020
I used shade 21. ✔Texture It has a rich foundation-like texture with almost no oily feel. ✔Application It glides on smoothly when applied, and once fully applied, it has a slightly semi-matte finish. ✔Color Unlike a typical BB cream, it has a beautiful ivory tone that resembles a real foundation. The color turned out surprisingly pretty, and while there is some darkening, it's not severe. ✔Coverage While the coverage isn't particularly high, it evens out the complexion well and doesn't feel heavy, giving a natural look. ✔Longevity The staying power is better than expected! Although it does fade a bit in the T-zone due to oil, it doesn't break down messily. Plus, it doesn't transfer easily. ✔Direction Those looking for a true, traditional BB cream might be disappointed. It feels more like a light foundation than a BB cream. ✔Scent While I'm not particularly sensitive to smells and wasn't bothered by it, there's a slight 'mom's makeup' scent that might be noticeable to those with sensitive noses when applying. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinMar 8, 2020
It's a perfect combo when mixed with Double Wear! They cover each other's weaknesses, leaving only the strengths. Double Wear's dryness is balanced by Blanc BB's coverage. The scent is really off-putting. It's like someone sprayed a thousand sheets of scented tissue on your face. The artificial floral fragrance is truly unpleasant. Honestly, I never use it alone because of the smell. When used by itself, the coverage is weaker than expected. The pore-clogging ingredients can cause blemishes to appear. Mixing it with Double Wear creates a fantastic combination. However, those with oily skin might experience breakouts. The color is beautiful with no darkening, but I'm not sure if it's a holy grail product yet. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 24, 2020
It has great coverage, long-lasting power, and a beautiful color. To be honest, it feels more like a matte cream foundation. I usually don't use BB creams because I don't like an overly dewy skin finish, but I really like how this product gives a semi-matte look! Despite the application being a bit tricky, I think it's a good BB cream considering its value for money and the high-end skin finish it provides. It's not easy to apply smoothly! Typically, BB creams should be easy to spread without any special technique, but if you're not careful with this one, it can clump or cause dead skin cells to flake. Also, it has a scent that reminds me of that artificial, cheap fragrance you'd find in old-fashioned stationery shops. I really don't like the smell... I wish it was unscented. Unlike typical BB creams that have a smooth, gliding texture, this one isn't as slippery. If you try to apply it with a foundation brush, it might clump. I prefer to dot it on my face and then pat it in with a puff. Also, be careful with your skincare base - if it's too heavy, the BB cream will sit on top, and if it's too light, it won't adhere well! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 14, 2020
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. I have combination, sensitive, and blemish-prone skin with many small bumps and pus-filled spots on my cheeks. I also have oily skin with blackheads (especially on my nose) and whiteheads. Neutral Color: The color is the best feature of this product. Usually, BB creams have a grayish tint that looks artificial, but this Missha Blanc BB cream has an almost perfect neutral shade. It matches my complexion perfectly, which I love. Application and Finish: Initially, I thought it was a light formula, but it's actually quite rich. After application, it gives a semi-matte effect! I appreciate that it doesn't make my hair stick to my face like overly moisturizing products do. Decent Adherence: Despite its rich texture, it adheres well to the skin. Due to its consistency, I applied it with a damp cushion puff. This worked especially well for my dry cheek area. Improved Skin Texture: After wearing it out for a while, I noticed a subtle glow where light hit my face, beautifully enhancing my skin texture. I liked how this effect appeared temporarily after application, more so than at the beginning. Strong Scent: There's a noticeable cosmetic fragrance. It was slightly off-putting when applying to my face. However, you do get used to it over time. Low Coverage: The coverage is on the lighter side. It didn't really conceal my blemishes and scars. A concealer is definitely necessary! Emphasizes Dead Skin Cells: This is the most disappointing aspect. Initially, my skin texture looked good, but as the product wore off, an excessive amount of dead skin cells appeared in my T-zone. Being inexperienced with touch-ups, I made it worse by trying to fix it, so I just left it and went home. Perhaps I needed a more thorough skincare routine beforehand? Causes Blemishes: My blemishes slightly worsened. My face became blotchy, so unfortunately, I stopped using it after just one application. If you have sensitive skin, I strongly recommend patch testing first. This is especially important for those with blemish-prone skin. For a light complexion enhancement, apply with a damp cushion puff. When I applied it directly to dry areas, it felt tight. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 14, 2020
Here's a review from The Hwahae Testers! 1. First off, the texture is moisturizing and the color is beautiful~ It's a natural shade 21 without any ashy tones! 2. As they emphasized no darkening, the staying power was indeed good! 3. I have sensitive skin, but I didn't experience any blemishes~ 1. When applied directly without sunscreen as a base, it slightly revealed skin texture. 2. Despite its moisturizing formula, the application feels a bit dry..? It feels thick and slightly difficult to spread. 2. I wish they'd remove the fragrance. My sense of smell is sensitive, so the cosmetic scent really bothered me~ 3. Also, personally, I'm not a fan of pump containers as they can get messy and are inconvenient, so that was disappointing. Mixing it with a moisturizing sunscreen makes your skin look great! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 14, 2020
Skin type: Dry, very dry, sensitive I don't use foundation or BB cream when I do my makeup. I've tried many products, but maybe because I have dry skin, they always look flaky and emphasize dead skin cells. I prefer a natural look with just basic skincare! I saw a product on Hwahae with good ingredients, so I decided to give it a try! + Brightening and correction It instantly brightens your complexion! You might not even need powder! It naturally evens out your skin tone, helping you achieve that beautiful skin look!! While it's not perfect, it does provide a bit of subtle correction, which is convenient! + Application and accentuation Even with lots of hydration, I still felt it was slightly patchy and prone to pilling. It's not too noticeable, but you can see some pore accentuation here and there... Also, the BB cream itself seemed to have a slightly drying effect. + Scent I prefer natural fragrances, but this product had quite a strong artificial scent. I was really disappointed with the fragrance aspect. It applies more smoothly and naturally with a brush rather than fingers. I recommend using a soft brush with slightly firm bristles! For those with very dry skin, I suggest using a serum first! Applying it after a serum improves the absorption and reduces pore visibility! A little goes a long way, so I recommend using a puff for application! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 14, 2020
Applies with a nice, firm texture and offers medium to high coverage. The color is less ashy, more like a foundation. While I prefer a dewy skin look, this has the advantage of giving a matte and clean finish. The scent is really off-putting. It's like a new house smell... anyway, it's just strange. It feels a bit drying and doesn't adhere well to the skin (emphasizes dead skin cells). For winter or dry skin, it might be better to mix with oil or apply with a damp sponge. Make sure to exfoliate well before use!
