The coverage is average. It doesn't have a super tight adherence, but rather feels slightly silky on the skin. The coverage is average. It doesn't have a super tight adherence, but rather feels slightly silky on the skin. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 2, 2024
Good coverage Matte finish - recommended for oily skin Affordable - 7,000 won on Coupang Attractive packaging design Pleasant fragrance Can look too pale - apply sparingly Small quantity - feels somewhat empty despite being newly purchased Excessively matte - difficult to apply even for oily skin Poor adherence - powder setting is a must, otherwise it transfers easily Low staying power - powder compact needed Oil breakthrough after 2-3 hours Apply a small amount Prep skin with hydrating skincare before application Always finish with a powder compact - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 18, 2024
- It absorbs well even when applied by hand. - For combination skin, it doesn't feel dry. - It turns grayish. - It starts to separate as time passes. - The coverage is about 2.5/5, so it can't hide things like dark spots. - I bought it because it claimed no darkening, but I'm not sure... If I, with combination skin leaning towards dry, experience this, I wonder how others are using it. I purchased this based on a YouTuber's recommendation, but I'm quite disappointed. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 14, 2023
I'm currently using this product for the second time. When I first tried it, I absolutely loved it. After trying other products, I ended up throwing it away as it had expired, but the fond memories made me repurchase it. Color: First off, unlike typical BB creams, this product's beige color has no ashy undertones, which is a huge plus. Skin Appearance: While it's not a high-coverage product, it doesn't apply thickly. When applied all over, it gives a subtle glow and creates a beautiful complexion. Adherence: It initially applies moistly but later becomes slightly matte and adheres to the skin. It's perfect for my combination dehydrated skin! It can slightly separate on dry areas like around the mouth or cheeks. Those with dry skin might find it drying if they don't prep their skin properly. It doesn't provide extremely high coverage. It doesn't cover pores. If you have large pores like me, powder is a must! Recommended for those looking for a BB cream without ashy undertones! Also great for anyone wanting to achieve a natural, effortless skin makeup look! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 26, 2022
It felt more like a foundation than a BB cream. Not bad for quick outings. Perhaps because it's on the matte side, it didn't seem to adhere well to my skin. I thought it might work better over sunscreen, but it was just the same. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 3, 2021
I bought this BB cream looking for one without an ashy tone, that applies thinly, and feels lightweight. It's exactly what I had in mind, so I've been using it for a long time. It's great for daily use. I didn't buy it expecting high coverage, just for evening out my skin tone. I prefer applying thin layers as I don't like heavy makeup. It feels light and comfortable without any heaviness. What I love most is that it doesn't have an ashy tone. The color leans more yellow than pink, and it does a decent job of covering pores. The finish is semi-matte. In summer, since I have oily skin, I used a primer around my nose area, but not in colder weather. It seems to work well with different application tools. I applied it with the Skinfood wedge puff, which gives a matte finish, so I had to be careful not to apply too much or it could look cakey. It might be better to use a tool that gives a more hydrated finish. It's not as hydrating as I expected, so in cold weather, it can make dry skin flake a bit. You'll need to pay attention to moisturizing before application. Don't expect too much in terms of coverage - it's just for evening out skin tone. Of course, it improves if you layer it 2-3 times, but when I did that, it started to clump around my eyebrows and forehead in the afternoon. I wish the color was a bit brighter. It only brightens the complexion by half a shade, which is a bit disappointing. When wearing a mask, it tends to come off in areas where there's friction, and it can pill if your skin isn't in good condition. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 24, 2020
※Reasons for 3 stars: 1. Can be purchased very cheaply during sales 2. YouTubers said it was semi-matte, but it's actually very hydrating - Recommended if you want a moisturizing product. - Missha (in Noonch) frequently has sales with high discounts, so aim for these periods to get great value for money^^ - Honest color representation: I used to be shade 20, now I'm 21, and the colors match the numbers perfectly. It has a slight pink tone that gives a bright look. - Poor adherence, pilling & patchy, too hydrating to apply powder over it For me, who generally has trouble with product adherence, using a cushion puff worked better. Even with minimal skincare, it tended to slide on my face. Not sure how it works for others. No matter how I applied powder, it settled into pores... Looking back, it seems it was problematic overall, haha! If you're after extreme hydration, try using it with the Peripera Ink Lasting Moist Puff It becomes more like water than a BB cream Just be prepared for some transfer, haha *In the photo, I applied it thickly to show the color well! My hand is a bit darker, but it looked fine on my face. - Hwahae UserOily SkinOct 21, 2020
It creates a beautifully flawless complexion, and even when it fades, it still looks pretty It can apply a bit thick, and the adherence to the skin could be better The adherence can be easily improved by using a dense, bouncy sponge - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 12, 2020
My skin is dry and dehydrated, with some redness. I have slightly visible pores around my nose, a few freckles near my eyes, but no other blemishes and rarely get breakouts. My usual skincare routine is toner - essence or ampoule - cream (applied twice). ● Coverage - While the coverage and longevity aren't as good as foundation, it's impressive for a BB cream. The color isn't grayish at all, more of an ivory tone? It's beautiful. It makes your face look brighter, not in a stark white way, but in a natural, luminous way. ● Adherence - After applying and gently patting, it seems to melt into the skin, leaving a smooth finish. ● Application - It glides on as smoothly as yogurt, and a small amount (about half a bean-sized drop) is enough to cover the whole face when applied with fingers. Any finger marks disappear with a final patting motion, leaving a flawless finish. ● Scent - There's a subtle, sweet floral fragrance that fades over time. Over time, while it doesn't darken, the bright tone seems to fade a bit. It doesn't really cover redness - you'll need a separate concealer for that. It does cover light freckles though. After a while, it starts to separate slightly around the nose area. There's also some settling into pores. I have dry skin and usually focus on hydrating skincare before makeup to prevent this, but it still happens a bit. If you don't prep your base properly, it might not adhere well. Make sure to hydrate your skin thoroughly and use a bit of primer to minimize pore-settling issues. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 20, 2020
Inspired by a YouTube video showing celebrities mixing foundation and BB cream, I couldn't resist trying the newly launched, affordably priced Missha BB cream during a sale. (Purchased shade 21 Vanilla: for sensitive combination skin with a deep undertone) The scent is pleasant, even for my sensitive nose. Most importantly, the color is a beautiful ivory tone, unlike the grayish BB creams I used in my school days. It almost feels like a foundation! However, even with my shade 21 skin, it appeared slightly light when used alone. It would probably work well mixed with a darker foundation or one that oxidizes a bit. The texture is rich and creamy, gliding on smoothly with decent coverage. The adherence wasn't as impressive as I'd hoped - it seemed to lift slightly around the nose area, which is unusual for my skin type. This gave an overall slightly 'floating' appearance, which was a bit surprising when finishing my makeup. Longevity-wise, it didn't oxidize, and as it mixed with my skin's natural oils over time, that initial 'floating' look actually improved. However, the breakdown around the nose wasn't great. My sensitive skin reacted slightly, causing some blemishes. Even without this reaction, I probably wouldn't reach for it often. I bought this intending to use it in a foundation + BB cream combo to improve adherence and application, but the adherence fell short of my expectations. I typically think of BB cream as a casual, quick-application base, but this one requires more careful application due to its tendency to settle into nose creases and look patchy. It's a bit high-maintenance for a BB cream... (I tried applying with fingers, brush, and finishing with a puff)
